Morimoto Lighting Reviews 

I posted a review on March 16 about condensation forming on one of the tail lights from day one installation. On March 23 I received a reply from the company saying that they apologize and someone would reach out to me shortly to send me a replacement. Fast forward seven months and I haven’t heard a word. The condensation is now getting worse and I will be swapping back out to the factory tail lights this week. Although they are a beautiful set of tail lights, they do not function properly. I guess I’m going to have to eat the $900 spent on this project. The sad thing is this was the second set of tail lights because the first ones were bad as well. Can’t make this stuff up! On a positive note: the third brake light is working perfectly and looks great!

I purchased a Set of Morimoto XB headlights in August 18 2022 and I was having an problem with the the Led's going out also the coating on the headlights lenses were flaking/chipping and discoloring. Reached out to MoriMoto and they worked with me 100% and sent me a replacement pair on November 21st 2024. As i was very happy considering they are like 2k for a set of headlights. Now I am having same problem with the coating on the headligts cracking and looks like hell so Once again I reach out with pictures and I get this Back from them.

Hi there,

The warranty coverage is based on the original purchase date and does not restart or extend when a replacement is provided. Since the headlights were originally purchased in February 2021, the warranty had expired in February 2026, so unfortunately, we are unable to provide a warranty replacement. I do apologize for the situation and any inconvenience caused. The only option that we are able to offer is a discount on a new set of headlights. So before purchasing these headlights for 2k keep this in mind as I am very upset with this now. Also i drive the truck about 6-7000 miles a year if that so its hard to say its wear and tear. The healights were MoriMoto XB headlights for a Ford F250 Superduty. Thanks and hope noone else has this problem.

UPDATE. I originally posted a 1 star review because I had a bad experience with the headlights and the communication with the sales/troubleshooting team that resulted in me returning the product. I received a phone call yesterday from a manager that wanted to personally talk to me and apologize for the experience. He explained some things and got to hear my side as well. Best customer service I have received in a long time! I have come to the conclusion that I just got a bad set and should try again in the future as they are baddest looking lights on the planet. Thanks Anthony for taking the time to call me.

They supplied us with tail lights for a Ferrari F430 , they were beautiful!!

We had trouble with the adapters and once we let them now they very quickly supplied us with new adapters, free of charge!

Their customer service is superb, and we would recommend them to anyone else, despite being half way across the globe.

I purchased the Morimoto smoked tail lights for my GR Supra. They were back ordered but was pleasantly surprised to receive them 3 weeks early! Their communication around shipping times was stellar and they answered all my questions quickly. I absolutely LOVE these taillights! Thank you Marimoto! Highly recommend!

I have both the Morimoto headlights and taillights, easy to install, look great and made my corvette look more sporty and the lights are very bright. Very satisfied

The 4Banger fog lights for my 4runner have been great, really light up the road and cover major blind spots the stock lights left. My wife and son just completed a 2500 mi road trip and the drivers side light mounting bracket broke. Reached out to customer support and they replaced it immediately. Awesome product with great support. Only concern is the molded plastic bracket seems a little weak at the mounting tabs since it broke on the trip, could have been road debris or a small animal strike though from driving the Alcan at night.

Amazing lights very happy with my purchases

Put Morimoto lights in my Runner three years ago. Absolutely loved them but they discolored badly. Contacted the company, told they were under warranty. Exchanged for a brand new set at no charge. Transaction was seamless and their rep was great! Highly recommend this company.

I upgraded my lx470 lights using morimoto HID kit and results were amazing, it is like day and night difference when compared to original halogen lens. HID kit had everything which I needed and provided plug and play option without cutting any factory wiring. These are definitely much costly than hid kits on Amazon but quality is there.

I purchased the Morimoto 2 banger amber ditch light kit for my Bronco. Couldn’t be happier.. the brackets are no joke! Solid construction and thick metal. The wiring harness made install a breeze. The lights look awesome and perform just as well. The only critique I have is the rocker switch that came with the light duty wiring harness. I didn’t care for the included switch so I replaced it with my own -a nicer style lighted push button type. Other than that very happy with my purchase.

Customer service reached out and they have made things right. I guess it just takes a review and talking to the right people. I will use them for my next lighting purchase

paid almost 1700 for headlights for my 2016 gmc 2500. They lasted exactly 3 months before they went out. After it went out it was like 2 weeks or more to get a replacement. Then they would not pay for labor to install the lights. So that is twice i had to pay for labor to have the headlights installed. After i paid labor time to do the diagnostic work they require to have a warranty claim. Then they would ouly send the side that went out even though they were replaced at the same time. So now i have one brand new light and one used light. Their product is cheaply made and cost an arm and a leg. I do not recommend this company.

Easy to navigate the website. They were detailed as to the applications they had. The quality and price were great. They also back up their product. I have bought several items for my vehicles and they alway had what I was looking for. I will continue to use them for my lighting needs.

The product is phenomenal and well built. The HID lights are insanely bright. It’s literally like driving with a street light in front of you. The first day I got them I rolled up to a dark intersection in my neighborhood and it looked like a street light was installed. I was blown away by the performance. Only gripe was the connections and install. The weather tight connections were pretty tight and didn’t want to seat easily. I used a little dielectric grease on the boots and they finally seated with some persuasion. They were so tight I thought I got the wrong parts I needed. But once they were seated installation was pretty simple.

We purchased a pair of headlight assemblies for our WRX almost two years ago. The outer protective coating started peeling off this summer. I reached out to Morimoto Customer Service and they warranties the lights and enabled me to exchange them for new ones.

The lights work great, look great, and we appreciate the effort to enable their products to look good.

I installed these taillights on my truck, and I'm very impressed with the quality. The fitment was perfect, the installation was straightforward, and they completely changed the look of my truck. The lights are bright, work exactly as they should, and give the truck a much cleaner and more modern appearance. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this upgrade and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to improve both the style and visibility of their truck.
