Broken Kettle

My Kettle broke and I had a lovely girl called Jessica help me through the process,which led to her sending me a new Kettle.I was very impressed with the quick ,friendly service I had.Will definitely buy from them in the future

My steam generator iron stopped…

My steam generator iron stopped steaming and was still under warranty. I emailed Morphy Richards and received a reply from Jessica telling me to follow some troubleshooting instructions and said it was probably a build up of lime scale even though I had followed the manufacturers instructions on which water should be used.After following Jessica’s instructions the iron still didn’t steam. I was asked to send photos and a video to show the iron was not working correctly along with proof of purchase. I received a quick response and after sending them more photos and a picture of the cord cut from the appliance they said they would replace the iron as a goodwill gesture. The replacement arrived within 48 hours. Very pleased with the result and the help and quick responses I received from Jessica. Thank you.

I purchased a deep fat fryer which…

I purchased a deep fat fryer which worked fine however after about 8 weeks the heater failed which can happen with any brand ,the defining issue is how a company deals with it.
I contacted customer service and Jessica was faultless,unfortunately they were out of stock of my original fryer however Jessica apologised and offered an upgrade which was twice the value of my original fryer.
I happily accepted the upgrade and received it two days later.
I would definitely recommend Morphy Richards and judging by my experience of their customer service have full confidence in their products.

I purchased food processer around 3…

I purchased food processer around 3 year back worth rs 9k , with this short period of time i faced problems with dry and wet jar, motor failed. Vijay sales is also not supporting even I have extended warranty that too is not supporting, this product is very delicate and is not at all durable also to add citrus attachment also broke up within single use, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANY PRODUCT OF THIS BRAND SPECIALLY FOOD PROCESSER OR ANY KITCHEN APPLIANCES,AFTER SALES SERVICE IS NOT AT ALL GOOD.
I would request support from MR team
Help me replacemy FP this one is waste of money.

Made an error in ordering re delivery…

Made an error in ordering re delivery address. In a flap, I rang customer services, spoke to Rich who was calm, friendly and keen to find solutions rather than negative responses/trotting out standard policy. This resulted in 2 emails from Rich. One confirming he had actioned my request and the second to confirm the warehouse were able to put a stop on the order. I was able to reorder safe in the knowledge my first order was being refunded. Very pleased and relieved. Thank you.

Great service from Rich and the customer support team, resolved the issue with warranty problem immediately and superbly. Though the product had been discontinued, they replaces it it’s similar products
Cannot fault the service and there products are highly recommended . One of the best customer service teams out there

Feedback Customer Service

I contacted the Customer Support Team falling the failure of my steam iron. The support provided was quick and efficient. The information I was asked to provide was straight forward to support my claim. Within days the matter was resolved and a new replacement iron sent.

Really impressive customer service

I contacted Morphy Richards customer support with a complex query, At first I only got an AI response which didn't help, but when I asked if I could actually be put in contact with a real person, a real person took over! Jack was very helpful and caring. When I had to go off line he carried on the conversation by email. Overall a very good experience

Bad customer service and misleading advertising

I ordered a kettle as ours had broken from Morphy Richards Ebay online shop - I chose this item mainly because it offered free next day Evri delivery - as I ordered on a Monday I expected delivery on the next day - a Tuesday. When it didn't arrive I contacted the companies CA's who told me in no uncertain terms delivery was not offered next day but in this case it was likely to be the next day so I sat back and waited. No tracking mail came the next day and no delivery and so I contacted them again with a complaint. I was told there was no guarantee for next day delivery implying I was not telling them the truth, but I had kept a screengrab of the item (which actually still says next day delivery free) and I sent it to them. Their reply was to say that further down the listing it estimates 3 or 4 days - who looks further down when it clearly says next day right at the top. Anyway the item now looks like it will possibly be here in 5 days and so I will need to go out and buy another kettle as we cant be without one that long. How do retailers manage to promise one thing and completely say they didn't when it is patently clear they did.

I am now been sent by a trained customer assistant at Morhpy Richards the following statement

"The “Free Evri Next Day Delivery” wording shown on the listing refers to the dispatch service level meaning the order is processed and handed to the courier on the next working day"

Shouldn't their advertising state 'next day despatch' then -

As you’ve highlighted, describing this as “next day dispatch” would be more accurate, and we are currently reviewing our listings to ensure this is made clearer going forward.

To clarify, the delivery estimate shown at checkout is the timeframe we use as the delivery commitment, and your order is progressing within that window. However, I do recognise that the prominence of the “next day delivery” wording has created a misleading impression in this case, and that’s something we are taking seriously.

I’m also sorry if our earlier responses came across as dismissive, that’s certainly not the experience we want to provide. Your feedback has been shared with our customer service team to ensure clearer and more empathetic communication in future.

We completely understand your situation and the inconvenience caused. If you no longer require the kettle once it arrives, please contact us and we will support you with a return.

Jack was so so helpful

Jack was so so helpful. Replaced my iron for me out of warranty. I was just out by a month but because of my daughter being in and out of hospital. It was the first chance I had to contact them. I bought my iron before this from Morphy Richards too. Had this iron 3 years so I would have happily paid for a new one, but thanks to Jack I didn’t have to. Thanks again

Replacement Parts not available

I have a Morphy Richard’s sear and stew slow cooker. it is brilliant, however i need a replacement pot as the one I have has bits coming off of it. I have been waiting for over 6 months and it is constantly out of stock, the date for being in stock constantly changes. i did contact customer services in the beginning but they could not give a definite date. They are clearly being made as you can buy a new slow cooker but I dont need that just the pot! When will they be available? Not great for the environment if you can only buy a whole new product!
24th April Well i have had a reply but my problem is not resolved as I still do not know when the replacement parts will be available. I am already doing as company suggests!

I recently had problem with a kettle…

I recently had problem with a kettle that I had purchased a few months ago. I emailed customer services at Morphy Richards and received a very prompt reply. The lady dealing with my complaint was very helpful and within a few days resolved the issue for me and ordered me a new kettle. I was very impressed with their customer service.

Had an issue with my Steam Generator…

Had an issue with my Steam Generator Iron whereby it would not stop steaming (The toggle switch stopped working), the item was 2 years into a 3 year warranty, contacted Morphy Richards Support and Jessica was fantastic, she asked me to do some troubleshooting first which unfortunately did not resolve the issue, and asked to send photos and a video of the issue (reasonable request) and after technical support said it could not be repaired, they asked me to tag and photo my old iron and arranged a replacement which arrived within days. Excellent customer warranty service. Thank you.
