Had a clamp fail on my straight piped punto evo ss. Free same day diagnostic to look at options, Gave 3 options at different price points, and explained everything very well. Opted to have it welded with a sleeve. Booked it in, and they did the repair with a new clamp as well as the sleeve. Let me have a look underneath after only taking a couple hours to get it done. Beautiful welds. Great result. And even showed me some tire wear that needed addressing I couldn't normally see as it is lowered. Top blokes. Highly recommend. Oh and the there is free coffee and hot chocolates! They also protect your seats and flooring with covers, super service.

Did an excellent service at a short notice and explained it all well. Once I spoke to George on the phone I realise my car would be dealt with experts who specialise in one thing. They are 40 mins drive away from me but was worth it as my (old) car passed MOT on that basis, thank you very much.

I took my BMW to them for an MOT. It came back as failed. Reasons, N/R wheel bearing worn and major engine malfuction as the engine management light was on. Was told they could fix it and would take several days as they had to drop the whole of the rear to replace the bearing and should replace the other whilst doing it. Did not what might be wrong with the engine as its emmissions were too high. quoted £1500 or could be more and advised get rid of and go to Car Supermarket for a new car. Went to see my local macanic and said RUBBISH, Bearing costs £16 and I clean the two Lambada sensors and it will fix the issues cost no more than £200 and done same day with a MOT re-test, he is a BMW specialist. All done and fixed. Mr Exhaust is a fraud and do not know what they are doing. Maybe looking for for work as they moved to cheaper place and work they cannot even do. The guy said he didn't even know how to drop an engine on a BMW, what does that tell you, steer well clear all.

Took my car for a free inspection as I knew I had a crack in the rear exhaust section. 1st class experience from moment I made the booking. Following the check they were able to make the repairs whilst I went for a coffee in the town. Genuine place and fantastic service and very reasonable costs. Great find so I'm sure I will return or recommend to others if / when have any further exhaust issues. Thanks

Visited for rusted-off exhaust hangers. These guys are the real deal. Above and beyond customer service from George with top-notch welds by Malcolm. I was presented a leaflet for sightseeing around Reigate to kill the time. Staff even went through the trouble of putting on a seat cover to drive the car 5 meters up to the lift and wiped down the steering wheel and shifter at the end. Necessary? No, but well appreciated! I will definitely visit again. Well worth the hour drive from where I live.

Excellent personal service. Everything transparent . They diagnosed and showed me under the car where the problem and fixed it within two days and again showed me all the work done under the car before payment.Also they had an excellent customer manner,never making you feel anything would be too difficult etc

My elderly Toyota Corolla's exhaust was in serious need of attention. All main exhaust fitters told me parts were unavailable. One mechanic said to try Mr Exhaust. It was a bit of a journey, but George found the parts, quoted and offered an apointment to fit. On the lift he showed me exactly what was required. I returned and job done. Excellent service. Would recommend.

Excellent job.
They custom built and replaced the front flanges on my Lexus IS250 exhaust on both sides. Very pleased with the result and at a fraction of the cost of buying the parts from a main dealer.

We booked an appointment at 3.30pm to check our exhaust that had broken off from the middle section.
George had a look an said that he could repair our rear box and not to replace it.I was expecting to have to come back but George said he could fix it while we waited, 90 minutes later all fixed an at a very good price.Will use again when required . Thank you for your excellent service.

I spoke with George over the phone and he said to bring the car in.
I drive from Mitcham, near Tooting, solely down to the good reviews and their 50 years of being in business.
He had a look and showed me under the car. Said it didn't need replacing and that they would repair instead.
I spent the day working online in Reigate and they repaired the exhaust.
Honest, straight forward customer care, very good service, great looking repair job and a good saving.
Highly recommend checking here first before replacing your exhaust.

Quoted £288 to weld a short pipe to my cat on my MK4 Golf. Simply too greedy and Job doesn't warrant that much money.
Short length of pipe about a foot long, probably cost them next to nothing.
If I supply cat they want £350 just for fitting plus extra for any brackets used. Not sure why when that's more that their price to supply and fit a cheap aftermarket one.
My current one doesn't need removing so lot less work.
Prices on website are not accurate and have apparently risen.
Happy to support a small business as was in business myself for many years but the work doesn't warrant the price, not in my case anyway.
Could understand if they were going to remove and refurb it or remove, clean and weld other side and bend pipes etc but this is minimal work and materials.

About 6 years ago I had a different car and went to Mr Exhaust in Reigate regarding a catalytic converter issue. Back then I was gobsmacked at the masterclass of an experience in customer service I was given by George at Mr Exhaust in Reigate. I left so impressed, that it was a no brainer of who to choose, when 6 years later and with a different car, my newer vehicle needed a complete rear section to its twin-exhaust. Glad to meet George again, so, still the same masterclass in customer service, only this time, he and his staff took it up another few notches. Firstly, the price. Mr-Exhaust supplied and fitted a genuine Honda exhaust at LESS than the cost of the part??? Secondly, they explained/discussed my car like genuine car enthusiasts, inspecting other areas and advising that I had a hole in the front down-pipe (which I suspected due to the engine not running quite as usual). Endless free drinks (hot-chocolate for me thanks), actual physical newspapers to read while you wait in their clean premises, the whole experience was an absolute joy. Reigate itself is a pleasure to explore whilst my car was being seen to and when I returned, the job had been done to perfection. The hole at the front downpipe was welded better than the quality of welding done by Honda! When it came to paying, the freebies flooded, I was thrown literally everything apart from the kitchen sink, including a beautiful 50th Anniversary mug, which I have to say has now become my favourite as it is bigger than all my others and has a very, very comfortable handle (yes, I know, TMI!). Seriously, this mug is quality (as are all the other freebies). As you can tell, I'm more than delighted Mr Exhaust won my work and also that I took George's advice from the start and opted for the slight more expensive exhaust system that is clearly made of quality steel to last many, many years (certainly will last a lot longer than something from some franchised type quick fitting establishment). A really pleasurable experience. I have ZERO hesitation in recommending this fine establishment and their exhaust and catalytic services. You will not regret it!

Totally recommend this place ! As a woman. Who often gets ripped off through no knowledge of cars ! These guys were totally honest ! Done the work really well and quick ! Kept the price as low as possible , and gave lots of free advice explains other things that could possibly be wrong with car !!!! So helpful and polite too ! Great service !
