Mr Exhaust Reviews

Located a 5 minute drive from J8 of the M25 Mr Exhaust is well worth a visit. They specialise in exhaust systems pure and simple. They also offer a bespoke service where exhaust systems are not available, such as for classic cars.
I cannot speak more highly of the honesty, speed and overall excellent service delivered by George at the Reigate branch of Mr Exhaust.
Having been given quotes averaging £750 with a highest quote of £1,300 and knowing the parts at the worst were readily available for £250 at worst for front, middle and back I was determined to find someone honest that would not try to fleece me.
I found Mr Exhaust on Google. I had not heard of them previously however reviews were excellent and prices seemed likewise.
Booking in with them for a check was a smart decision. I was charged a grand total of £150 and while I had taken the car for them to simply do a check, they were able to do the work then and there which was fantastic. It took about 90 minutes all in all.
As an example, Kwik Fit told me I needed a full exhaust system, a local garage told me middle and back. George took a look and then showed me what he had found and his recommendation which was to fit a new back box only. Rust on the centre pipe that looked on the face of it bad I was assured is actually superficial and the front was immaculate with several years service left in them.
Complimentary hot drinks are available on site and there is a waiting room. The town centre is a ten minute walk max.
Mr Exhaust seem to have good ties to the town; they provide a leaflet with a map for Customers who aren't familiar with the area and they highlight some key retailers including charities such as the British Heart Foundation. There is a lovely walk to the town, through castle parkland.
Thanks George and Mr Exhaust! 👍🏼

Very professional, competent and trustworthy. My 25 year old jap car has a new exhaust system, carefully executed and planned. Thank You for doing this i had been turned down by other garages when you guys could do it, Thanks again George and company… even waited for me while the shop was closed on pick up day. The free coffee in the vending machine is also refreshing!

Excellent all round. Very helpful, courteous, efficient and speedy
Would recommend highly

Mr Exhaust in Reigate
Brilliant. Cannot recommend them enough. All choices explained and costed, work done and all with a 3 year guarantee. George and his team there are amazing and so pleasant too. Another real plus was the clean WC, somewhere comfortable to wait and complimentary coffee and tea. Absolutely Fantastic.

You can trust these guys. Spoke to George who gave me a price and ordered parts. Phoned me to arrange fitting when they arrived. Discovered a broken bracket which they welded for a modest charge and adapted another mount to make it stronger. Excellent price compared to other suppliers. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

Had previously had a new front flexi pipe fitted at the Reigate Branch and they did a first class job with a two year guarantee.
Noticed slight movement with new pipe connecting to centre box and contacted the branch. Appointment made and problem sorted under guarantee 23 months after initial installation. Very friendly and helpful staff, very quick repair very good service.

Hi quality service would highly recommend, struggled to find any other company to sort out a faulty rear silencer on my old Nissan but they came up trumps.

Thank you for the excellent service from George and his team at Mr Exhaust in Reigate.

My car had a broken catalytic converter bracket and a damaged flexi. The rest of the exhaust system was also in a pretty bad way. George put the car up on the ramp and showed me what he would recommend to resolve the problem. His advice was to repair rather than replace the cat assembly and then to renew the rest of the exhaust. The work was done on time and was of very good quality - George put the car on the ramp again to show me once it was done.

I really couldn’t ask for more. Excellent value for money, friendly customer service and a high quality fix. A great experience from start to finish.

Really friendly service from the outset. I needed a new stainless flex connector for my 3-series (2011). Very reasonable price for the work that was carried out, which was to a high standard after I was invited to inspect the work once it had been completed. Special mention to George who was professional and very helpful throughout. Very happy customer. Highly recommend these guys!

I have visited Mr.Exhaust in Reigate, Surrey on10.06.22 to cut out & weld inplace a new stainless steel flex connector. They were so friendly, professionally excellent service. I would recommend anyone to visit this place.

Terrific job and service from Mr Exhaust.
Repairs done to a Lexus 250 and was a difficult project. Honestly they did an absolute fabulous job which actually involved repairing the exhaust in multiple places together with manufacturing some bespoke parts and pipework. Genuinely couldn't be happier with their work while George (12 years service) explained the whole process. Highly recommended. Stephen.

Exceptional customer service from George at Mr Exhaust in Reigate.

I was recommended this place by my other garage as they couldn't fix my exhaust, my only option with them would have been to change the DPF for nearly £2K.

George took the time to show me the problem before fixing it then in just a couple of hours it was all done and again he showed me the work once completed.

Highly recommended and I felt I could really trust George and his team. I ended up saving over £1600 and my problem is now fixed with a 3 year guarantee. Thank you!

I had a blown exhaust, rear and centre piece and was told by two garages that it need to be replaced. Both well known and established garages quote between £300-£330.

I then spoke with George Gardiner from Mr Exhaust in Reigate who managed work out a cost savings of £100 thereof.

The quality of service received during the execution was incredibly, extremely professional, courteous and genuine care about offering a quality service without compromise. Its very rare to find this level of attention to detail and level of feedback which left me with full of admiration of George and his Company. Thank you for your support. Much appreciated!!

I took my car in today after an advisory on a recent MOT about rusted exhaust hangers. I was seen promptly at the time of the appointment, my car was put on the lift and George showed me the rusted hangers and advised replacing them and told me the price. I had a walk around Reigate and got a phone call an hour and a half later saying the work was done. On returning to Mr Exhaust George showed me the new hangers. This is a highly professional and competitively priced business and I’ll have no hesitation in recommending Mr Exhaust to others.

Unbelievable! Repeated customer. The service is outstanding, I travelled 50 miles to have my rattling exhaust sorted. This had been done in no time with care and expertise. Reasonably priced too! Highly recommended. Thank you so very much

Problem with rear box on exhaust. Contact Mr Exhaust Reigate and spoke with George. I arranged to take the car in to identify what was needed and unfortunately they had to order the part. However they did a free temp repair to get me safely back on the road. We arranged a date to replace box and the work was completed as promised with no fuss. Thanks George and team for excellent service at a competitive price.

A place with upstanding service. George and Martin professional in their job! They repaired my exhaust mounting brackets and metal bands. At a lots less price than some others who want to replace whole back box.
So if you have a broken bracket or similar, they look at it show you what problem is, how much it cost, fixed price. No added extra. This is a place to come. No question.

The joint between the back box and pipe on my Passat TDI had completely corroded. George told me on the phone it might be repairable. After they had carried out an inspection I was invited to look for my self. The recommendation was to carry out a repair as the rest of the system was sound. An hour later I was asked to look at the work they had done and shown the section that had been cut out so I could see that there was still plenty of meat left on the rest of the system. At no time was there any mention of having to replace parts. Good old fashioned service. Thank you.

Great service from George performed a lot of works on my CLS63s AMG well worth the money and will use again in the future

My MX5 had a blowing exhaust was told by major UK retailer I needed a complete system, cost nearly £600.00.
After inspection at Mr E a small blow was found and expertly repaired, cost £90.00.
Even though the new system was ordered they had no problem in doing just the repair.
Thanks for your honesty and expertise, Nick
