Got interesting and useful information and advice.

The process of sending the samples and getting the results was amazingly easy. All the information about the DNA is very interesting but what has been very useful too was all the practical advices you get from it, like the diet or training proposals.

I wanted more personal, not overall

It was a great experience and I benefited greatly from it.

I found it very annoying that I was not allowed to print out the recommendations so I would be able to reference it when thinking about my meal planning. In the end I took screen shots of the recommendations scrolling through them bit by bit.

It only really works on a phone and the app does not exist for my iPhone so glad the first 30 days was free since in the end it did not have much value. Should have a way for it to work on a computer.

I see lots of health news from reliable and unreliable sources. The descriptions I received from myDNA (morning person vs night owl) didn't fit me, and I found little evidence to justify the advice that I couldn't verify, such as consuming more olive oil to lose weight. So I learned after a while to just delete the emails.

Great to get a better understanding of how my body really works. I didn't pay to get personalised menus, etc, however still found value in the information provided.

My Doctor recommended that I get this test done to see my response to certain medications. I used my local pharmacy to order the kit and recieve the results. Unfortunately the Pharmacist was not familiar with the process and did not realise that my medication results would be forwarded to them subsequently the results were sitting with them for a few days. Unfortunately no one at the Pharmacy knew what the email was that they had received and what to do with the information. Once this was sorted I collected the information but I had no idea what this information was about and the Pharmacist did not explain anything (she was unsure about what to do).
My doctor had a look but didn't really expand on how to interpret the results other than what he was specifically looking for. Great having this info but unless you can have an understanding it's really of no use. I'm still to find someone to interpret the info for me. I sort of slightly suspected that my Doctor may not have really understood the report. I had so many questions to ask that are still unanswered. Again not sure where to go to ask the questions or understand the results. The dietry information is very interesting and I have been applying some of the recommendations. But, is there any way of having a printed copy. I would like to work with my physiologist and dietican and would like to give them a copy of the results. As for dietary suggestions unfortunately the recipes recommended are limited. I am vegan and I was getting suggestions recommended for vegetarians and some even had meat in them. So I would not use this service. It's a bit too generic for me unfortunately. Same for the suggested work outs. Therefore, subscribing to the App would not work for me. Overall the information was interesting but a bit more explanation regarding medications et cetera would be great. I know this is a very new process and I think in the future it could really be helpful medically and from a health perspective.

Great potential, but can not access my account for further information

I’m really unhappy with my purchase.
I ordered my DNA pack on the 27th July - it’s the 2nd September…
8-12 business days absolutely not
I also tried to cancel my subscription but because I tried to cancel it on the day it renewed they could not refund me my money back. I’m actually shocked.
I know I left it a little bit late but I thought it would cancel my free trial.

Overall I wish I didn’t bother. I’m sure they will try and reply to say they’ve dealt with my query by refunding a partial amount of my order but that really is not good enough, I cannot afford a full year’s subscription.

its very interesting to start why my body puts weight on easy and i have endurance a bit of a turtle slow steady and just keep on plodding along for a long time.

should be standard pbs procedure for everyone

I am very impressed to see how it has developed over the past few years - oh and the interface is marvellous as is the mobile user experience!

Easy to do the test, insightful results that really spoke to me and help understand why I do what I do( like I don't like coffee- even the smell of it. I found out I slowly metabolize it and it is not helpful for my sleep esp if drunk later in the day). Another great insight explained why I like endurance exercise over short sharp burst exercise.
I would love the analysis process to be quicker though to keep the excitement and motivation up in the initial phase rather than waiting for the results to come back weeks later.
