I ordered some skirting and paid for express delivery. Unfortunately the skirting didn't arrive on time and I had to cancel order.
However, customer service were excellent, very polite and to the point. I don't know who is to blame for the delivery, but I have given 3 stars because of the communication with the company. I am waiting for my refund, but hopefully that will be straightforward.

Really poor. They don't deliver on time, they don't communicate well and the transport company they use is unreliable and doesn't take calls!

I had a good experience driver arrived really early and helped me all the way inside the house. quality is good

This company should be shut down. Beware they are now using the name Cuting Edge kkirting co.uk
They send out damaged flimsy skirting boards, say you have 24 hours to report any damage. Who unwraps 20 or so skirting boards all packaged supposedly intact within 24 hours? Especially if the carpenter is not around for a few days?
They then charge or the replacement boards, charge for delivery and do not send out for ages using the excuse that it is the couriers fault , they do not have the phone number for said courier so have no responsibility for where the boards are. Avoid at all costs. I will also post this review on Cutting Edge Skirting boards as they are one and the same set of cowboys.

Ordered 12m of 10 inch MDF torus skirting board from this company. Goods were delivered within a week and were extremely well packaged. Product quality was very good - opted for the ‘ready primed’ finish. Needed minimal sanding prior to fitting and the end result looks stunning.
I note that this has not been everyone’s experience with this company but my experience has been very positive.

Ordered skirting, taking into account BH and 48 hours over delivery scale. Hubby rang them daily speaking to Freya, he requested it NOT be delivered on a certain day but got notification it was out for delivery and had to ring My Skirting Boards again. They then had to phone courier again. I then rang spoke to Freya to get an idea of delivery as was supposed be here and was on the lorry but then according to MSB the courier had misplaced that order. They then said resent new order 15th for delivery 17th. I then had to call back again this time spoke to Oliver as waited all day and again no delivery. Eventually after a lot of chasing we got an updated tracking no via email from courier so was just case of fingers crossed, so we thought, annoyingly waiting for delivery and now 18th ....we ordered on 9th....less than satisfied with the company and could be better with communication between courier and My Skirting Boards as well as customers. Freya and Oliver did their best to resolve things but very poor service. Although calling back sometimes went to voicemail and although they said the skirting was in the lorry for delivery and they would call us back we then had to call again around 2pm and by 4pm on 18th still no sign of delivery and the tracking just said out for delivery. Had to reschedule fitter. No sign of delivery on 19th either. Rang them again was told courier probably lost it. We cancelled got a refund after chasing. Would not use this company again due to the amount of chasing and poor service.

Absolutely shocking customer service.

Placed and order and when it hadn’t arrived after 2.5 weeks I spoke with customer services. They said they couldn’t locate the parcel with tuffnels and offer a refund.

Still waiting for the refund to be told they process refunds on a Friday. Absolute BS.

Quick to take your money but don’t want to refund you when you never receive the goods.

Don’t use this website if you want what you pay for.

Absolutely poor service. I picked my skirting boards for the quick delivery times, but the order did not arrive on time and I am now trying to get a refund and being told that I will have to pay 25% for the privilege. Why offer it if you can't fulfill it. I will be taking my money elsewhere next time.

Looks like I had a very different experience to some of the other customers posting reviews. I ordered 9 meters of skirting board and selected standard delivery, I soon realised that i wouldn’t get the boards in time so I contacted customer services who couldn’t have been more helpful.

They fastracked the production of my rebated skirting board which meant switching out the cutting tool mid production.

They then got my boards to Tuffnells courier and didn’t want to charge me for fastrack delivery £30 extra as it would have been half of the cost of the total order.

I didn’t receive a tracking number from Tufnell so I called again and was sent an email with the tracking number without question.

Highly recommend.

Went looking online for skirting boards after struggling to find the right size in local builder merchants. Found what I was looking for and placed an order....THEN read the reviews and started to worry....turns out it was totally unnecessary. Paid extra for the quicker delivery and they turned up on time. Product is great. I even rang the sales office for an estimated delivery day and they were spot on too. Obviously some have had bad experiences with this company but mine was spot on and I would definitely use them again.

Spent over £300 a year ago.Due to an accident, needed about 1.5 metres of board. Couldn't reduce postage (why not?) so would have cost me about £55! Poor view of customer service.

Very bad communication, the worst online company to order online
If you cancel the order they will stop money from you because they don't do their work properly.
I don't advise anyone to order from them.

Skirtingboard was top quality, delivered on the day expected. Will be ordering again.

Really easy to place an order, lots of information on the website, skirtingboards arrived when they were due and the delivery driver was very helpful. Will be looking to place an order for the next level soon.

As many of the other reviews suggest, paid for next day delivery, 5 days later my order is still not here.
Tuffnells, their preferred courier is claiming they haven’t got the product, yet all tracking leads to them..
Myskirtingboard haven’t replied to any emails, however do managed to get through via phone, however they keep putting things off, claiming another day is needed
It’s getting past a joke, its put our project back a week, which has massive implications..

Shocking experience, Mandy was not helpful at all and their T&Cs contradict each other. Waste of time.
Ordered around £250 worth of skirting board for Tuffnells to leave in the middle of a public pathway and for myskirtingboards to do nothing to help other than say they will raise a complaint with tuffnells after

Stay away if possible!

Edit: 01/09 and still no response from either Tuffnells or myskirtingboards - what a joke of a company!!!

But trying to contact for second order,NIGHTMARE.

If zero stars were an option that would be more accurate.
Ordered skirting boards from this company (and wish I'd read the reviews first!)... asked to have them delivered on 4th May. Then received an email saying they were coming on the 20th April so I took a day off work to wait for them. No sign of the delivery so I contacted Mandy at myskirtingboards who told me the email had gone out in error and they would be delivered on 4th May. Annoying but silly me for trusting the emails they sent out.

Again, I took the day off on 4th May and waited in all day for the delivery. I checked the link from Tuffnells to say when it was coming every 15 minutes and then... I see a message to say it's been delivered within the last 10 minutes, and it's been left in a safe place. I live on a main road with no safe places, no one tried to contact me, and I don't think anyone could easily hide 33kg of 4m skirting board.
I contacted myskirtingboards and have been chasing for updates since. I waited patiently before submitting this review but after 3 weeks of "looking into it" they've concluded that some delivery driver scrawling "safe" as the signature is sufficient and there's nothing they can do.
Honestly do not waste your time, money or energy on this company. Worst I've dealt with in a long long time.

Edit 13th June: Still no update or communication from this company.
