Nars products are of high quality, good pigment and wide range of products. The website is easy to navigate and use, checkout being easy. Service in stores is good too, with staff generally very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great brand.

I went to the NARS make up counter in Selfridges Manchester on Friday Evening and asked to be colour matched for a new foundation. I explained to the lady I don't know much about make up and required her advice. I was 'matched' and spent £82 pounds on foundation and primer.

When I put it on it was obvious it was much too dark. My sister saw.it and asked why I wasn't colour matched. I said i was.

I returned Saturday morning to the store and was advised they would not refund or exchange for the correct colour.

I was further advised that they cannot advise on Colour matching foundation. No one told me this before purchase. Funnily enough I only bought the primer as she advised my skin was dry amd I required it. So it seems they can advise on products.

I contacted their customer services directly to see if theu could make this right. They were distinctly uninterested.

In this economy where every penny counts, spend your money somewhere else where they offer a service you can rely upon. Also where they value your custom. Trust me NARS is not this place.

I dropped by the Nars concession in John Lewis Reading today (Tues 21st) to check out blusher. The lady who helped me (didn’t get her name unfortunately) was really great and saved me from complete confusion. Ultimately I bought two of the ‘multiple’ blushers online purely because a site is running a 25% off promotion - but I was only able to do this because of her in-person advice and assistance. Much appreciated, thank you!

Love Nars - you get what you pay for, the quality of their products is incredible.

Nars is an amazing company with amazing staple products. I particularly recommend the orgasm blush and lip balm. Nars promotes the full glam look we’ve lost over the years and i love to bring it back!!
