What has happened to this previously excellent company
I have been a satisfied customer for a number of years placing large orders and always referring natural instinct to friends and family as my dogs love the food and thriving on it, however the last few months seems to be always out of stock of my regular food having to look elsewhere for my supplies, when I phone to ask when it is likely to come back into stock I receive extremely disappointing and couldn’t care less attitude customer service, the delivery service used to be next day delivery with notification which was excellent service, sadly now it seems to be very unreliable and never knowing when the frozen food will turn up with no notification given, if i ring the disappointing customer service really dosent care, the last frozen food I have ordered was left out on the doorstep on the hottest day of the year with no notification it was coming with us all out for the day - what has happened to this previously excellent company that I trusted my dogs health and nutrition to. I have tried to contact the company with my concerns before giving this review however no one there seems to be interested.

I order the food on Monday and didn't…
I order the food on Monday and didn't get it until the following Satuday. The food is good quality - I think that they are in the process of changing their systems as it has happened several times recently which is a shame. It always used to be next day delivery with very few issues.

An uneasy customer. 29/07/26
The delivery took a long time to arrive. I was advised the day beforehand that it was out for delivery but did not arrive until late afternoon the following day. All the dry ice had melted but the produce still appeared to be frozen.
This is the second delivery that has arrived the day after notification in the same condition. I'm becoming uneasy about the delivery arrangements. They appear to have changed. The product used to arrive the same day as notification.

We would just like to reassure you that the dry ice will always have dissipated by the time your order arrives, as it is designed to do so safely during transit. The important thing is that the food itself remains frozen or suitably chilled on arrival, which from your review appears to have been the case.
We have also recently updated our delivery process, with orders now arriving the next day following dispatch. This provides a clearer delivery schedule and allows customers to know when to expect their orders.

The senior food is excellent
The senior food is excellent. My frenchie loves it, had to contact natural instinct as the dog food had not been delivered, it used to be next day delivery, it was delivered the day after a day later than I expected it

Great service from easy online ordering, selecting a convenient date for dispatch to delivery and of course our dog loves the food and at a great price. We've tried others and this is probably the best food at the best price.

Terrible delivery!!
I selected a delivery date, however the frozen food didn’t arrive until the next day.
It was the first time I placed an order with natural instinct, so after I ordered I expected to see a confirmation of delivery date. There wasn’t one, so I email to confirm the date it will arrive. This was also a balls up, days and dates she gave didn’t line up. Eventually she confirmed the date I selected was the date my package would arrive. So I waited and waited for a text with an hours time slot ……. I never got one. So I emailed to find out where the packed was (5:30pm) I expected a reply the next morning, but didn’t get one. I got a message from the delivery people with a time slot (one day late). So I ensured I returned 5mins prior to the slot, only to find out they had actually delivered 15 minutes before scheduled.
After deliver that afternoon I receive a message from natural instinct to confirm delivery. I was obviously still annoyed, it’s frozen raw food which I wanted to be there to put in the freezer as soon as possible as it’s delivered and left on my doorstep!! Yes it was in a polystyrene box - but it’s not the point.
So I email to confirm the delivery process should I order again - it was a very grey answer - so apparently now they say you select a ‘dispatch’ date and not ‘delivery’ date and the food will be delivered a day or two after. This is really NOT helpful when people lead busy lives. A delivery date is workable, but to say it may be there at some point over 2 days is not workable!!
Over all - terrible deliver service!! The only reason I chose natural instinct was because that’s what my pup came on from her breeder. I will be giving them one more chance, if it’s a complete farse again I will not be reordering - I don’t have time to be messed about.

At the time of your order, our date selection feature was brand new and, unfortunately, we hit a few teething problems. Not all of our team were aware of the changes straight away, which meant you were given the wrong information about your order. We're really sorry for the confusion this caused.
Just for future reference, the date selected at checkout is the despatch date, rather than the delivery date. Orders are then delivered by our courier, usually within 1–2 working days. We completely appreciate that this wasn't made clear, and we've since made improvements to ensure the process is much clearer for both our customers and our team.
We'd love the opportunity to make things right, so a member our customer service team will reach out to you, we'd be delighted to arrange a little goodwill gesture for your next order.

If you treasure your dog feed it the best Natural instinct is made using human grade products it is veterinary approved we changed from dry food to Raw dog food about eight years ago we definitely noticed a change in both Beagles they were more energetic and alert also there coat was shiny and teeth had a lot less staining. I would recommend anyone change to natural instinct if you value your pet talk to your vet , delivery isn’t an issue you get free delivery when ordering 10kg ie 10 1kg tubs open an account

Great 👍🏼 I’ve raw fed my dog for the last 9 years, she’ll be 10 in September this is the first time I’ve fed natural instinct and found it to be excellent quality. The meat looks fresh and a good colour and the mixes are good and the packaging excellent. Also all came frozen (despite this heat) in polystyrene boxes. Will definitely buy from them again.

Incredible customer service.
There was a mix up on my order and not all arrived. The swiftness it was resolved was impressive and even on a weekend it was dealt with and I got a delivery on Sunday.

Slower delivery than before…
I don’t know when or why the delivery changed from next day delivery (if ordered before 2pm) to it taking an extra day. This has caught me out a couple of times recently.
Also the delivery was left at the gates to the driveway, driver didn’t bother to ring the doorbell
