From the customer service rep I initially spoke to, through to the mortgage processor, everyone has been professional, responsive, and positive. A special shout out goes to the mortgage broker I worked with, Nisrine Laanan: She turned what could have been a disaster (I'm looking at you, Nesto) into one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. She understood the urgency of my situation and had everything turned over for final approval within 4 business days. Compared to the 15 plus days I spent working with Neo, NESTO was like those fingers of light that cut through the clouds on an overcast day.

The story: After working with a Neo broker for 15 days (5 days after I was supposed to have final approval to secure the sale) I was informed by the Neo broker that the lender didn't accept the FTHBI as part of the down payment! He knew from day one I was using this as part of my down payment. He even had the completed forms.

If it wasn't for Nisrine and Alin at NESTO, there is a very good chance the property would have been sold to one of the many people who submitted offers after I did.

I have zero hesitation in recommending Nesto to anyone interested in financing their home purchase online.

Based on my research, Nesto offers the most competitive rates on the market with upfront transparency. I highly appreciate the fact that I do not need to play the negotiation game with lenders to push them to maybe finally show me the best deal. The online platform works great. Whenever I phoned, the agents were always efficient and friendly. One area of improvement could be to use video conferences with clients, especially when it comes to explaining math calculations.

J'ai été référé par mon courtier d'assurance et je peux dire que je n'ai pas regretté le déplacement. Service très professionnel et rapide avec un taux et des avantages beaucoup plus intéressants que la concurrence sur le marché. The experience of obtaining a mortgage with Nesto was made seamless from beginning to end thanks to our advisor Adel and our processor Laura. The rate offered is what brought us to Nesto but it was the service from these two that made it an experience you dont have to dread. They worked so hard to ensure everything was stressfree and done on time. Plus they were so friendly and supportive, we knew we had made the right choice.

I went through the Nesto mortgage application process with Elischa and Alin.

When I chatted with Elischa, I felt incredibly untrusting and hopeless. I found my dream place, and we had an accepted offer. But, on the day subjects were lifting, my Mortgage Advisor at Questrade was not answering my calls. As it got later in the day, I was getting worried, so I called the general customer service line, and they put me in touch with her manager. The manager advised me to ignore my lawyer's advice and lift subjects based on their conditional approval. I told him I was uncomfortable doing that, so he talked to the underwriter and called me back an hour later to say my mortgage application was denied. They did not want to insure the property I was hoping to purchase because of some possible upcoming special assessments, something I was well aware of, and the price was reflective of these future expenses. Had I taken that manager's advice, I would have lost my 20k deposit, but I also lost my dream place.

I decided to give EQ/Nesto a try instead, and after I got preapproved, I was put in touch with Elischa. He was such an incredible listener, and we decided to try to put my application through for the dream place and see if we could get it insured. I could try to make another offer if it was.

Well, I must tell you, the process was so smooth! The app worked flawlessly, and these two had me in a place to make another offer within 48 hours of applying. It made life so much easier knowing they were in the same timezone and they were so prompt.

Thankfully they accepted my second offer, and in the nick of time, because they shortly received another one after mine. Alin and Elischa went above and beyond to make this happen for me. I’m so happy I could cry.

Simple, fast, and friendly would be how I would sum up my experience with Nesto. Elischa was attentive throughout the whole experience, from getting me a pre-qualification letter in less than a week, to walking me through the pros and cons of different rates I could lock into. Overall I was pleased and also surprised with the service, and would recommend using Nesto.

I didn't end up going with Nesto, but Eli was very helpful and followed up as requested.

He was able to answer my questions and guide me through the process. While this time due to timelines I didn't choose Nesto, I will consider them again when refinancing.

The process was seemless. Jamie and Laura were amazing really. They offered the best rates as well as the best allowance. All the banks only gave a variable apporval of 320k but Nesto gave 450k and gave a better rate than the rest. I will use nesto over and over again. The documentation process was also straightforward and not cumbersome. Plus everything was done online and prompt. I got my full apporval within a week from offer date. They are fast amazing and realible.

Elischa provided us with excellent support during the process of applying for a mortgage. He was always kind and reassuring and went to great lengths to explain what was needed from us. So rare to have somebody who phoned us regularly in a time when nobody wants to personally talk to you but only want to connect through emails!

The process was quite simple and it was very nice to have a single contact at Nesto that I was able to call or email to ask lots of questions, and I did!
