I have been really impressed by the help I have received from the New Homes Mortgage Helpline particularly from their agent Josh who has been brilliant.
I am an existing home owner but needed advice on obtaining a mortgage (in effect a bridging loan) on a new property before my existing one is sold. As I am aged the wrong side of 65 and retired I wasn't very optimistic.
However Josh came back to me with a very competitive mortgage proposal.

My mortgage journey with The New Homes Group began in 2023 when I was supported by Karen Rozier. Although I unfortunately lost out on the first property, Karen was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the process. She gave me confidence and made what could have been a daunting experience much easier.

I started a new mortgage application in December, and once again The New Homes Group was there to support me. I was initially referred to Robel Tewelde to complete my application. When Robel went on annual leave, Charlie Hood and Megan Dean seamlessly took over my case to ensure everything continued moving forward.

My application was complex and took from January until June 2026 to reach a successful outcome. It was a long, stressful, and emotional journey, but throughout the entire process the team never gave up on me. Rebecca King, the manager, was exceptional. She was always available to offer support, reassurance, and guidance, and she continually explored alternative solutions whenever we encountered challenges.

When we decided to apply with a new lender, Julia Vernon took over my case midway through the process while Charlie Hood and Megan Dean were on annual leave. Despite joining at such a critical stage, Julia quickly got up to speed and worked tirelessly on my application. She was proactive, efficient, and determined to achieve the best possible outcome. Her commitment and persistence made a real difference.

On 23 June 2026, I finally received my mortgage offer. It was a moment I will never forget. Owning my own home has been a long-time dream, and even now it still doesn't feel real. I truly believe God has answered my prayers, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude.
