I’ve been with Nick Deighton for over two years now, and every interaction has been easy, simple and positive. As a private renter, we have a 6-month regular check in with Sylvia Homes and every time she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The team at Nock Deighton, in particular Amber Parsons were great making the process from them simple and a pleasure.
The 4th party company that Nock Deighton's used however (The lettings Hub) are a nightmare with some practices that have questionable legality. For example your are given a choice in the online process wether or not you want to be contacted about the services they offer. This appears to be a choice but in reality unless you select the tick boxes you cannot click the Submit button to proceed. I am still contemplating contacting trading standards about that one. I responded to an email from them saying I would deal with all aspects of moving and not to contact me. They already called the council saying I will be moving in on a date I'm not. It will be another week. I have to contact my council to say what dates I will have a vacant property and when I will move in and didn't want them interfering. I received 2 phone calls a day trying to push broadband phone and TV packages on me. I have dealt with my own broadband and don't want phone or streaming TV services. I've had to block their number. They are ignoring my email requests to leave me alone remove my phone number from their database and keep out of my move. It is obvious to me they are driven by kick-backs and have no regard for consumer rights, information governance or the law in general. I work for a local authority and would be appalled if the staff there behaved in such a fashion

From introduction through to completion I felt I had good service.
They were prompt in answering questions, and the couple of very minor niggles were promptly dealt with.

5 months from putting on the market to completion can not be bad these days.

Tracey is reliable, professional, helpful and operates with integrity. I was quite impressed with how fast Tracey followed up on our maintenance issues. She kept us updated throughout and reminded us to not hesitate to contact the branch regarding any issues or concerns.

Just moving into my first place, all I can say is that Millie has been so lovely and helpful from the start, always happy to explain and answer any questions and quick to reply as well which is very helpful. I would definitely recommend as well!!

I so much appreciate the lovely approach of staffs both in kidderminister office and especially Amber who took her time to guide through the process.

This was the second time Viv Jones has conducted the annual house inspection at our long term rental property. She is always very prompt, not early or late, respectful within the house taking shoes off and moving around politely.

She inspects what is needed to honour what the owners need to know but having consideration for our belongings and rights as tenants as well. She actions any repairs needed very quickly and keeps a full photographic record which assures both us and the owners the house is kept in good order.
