Great company really flexible and easy to deal with

Superb price and service. I went to a number of suppliers for prices and found that Oil Tank Plus put them all to shame, it was a great price !! Communications were straight forward, and installation was no trouble at all. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Oiltanksplus have taken a great deal of trouble to advise me and steer me clear of costly mistakes to the extent of denying themselves an easy sale. Instead, they've sent me between 12 and 20 explanatory emails! Exceptional integrity and customer care!

Be careful what you pay for! We spent £1671.50 excluding VAT on a new slimline oil tank to include installation. I had all communications with the salesman via email due to the poor mobile reception in my area so I have email trails of everything that was agreed. I recently had our boiler serviced and the plumber informed me that our installation was not compliant with Oftec regulations; I contacted oiltanksplus only to be told 'we told you we were doing a non-compliant installation'. I asked for proof of this and I was told it should have been discussed with the salesman - it was not and I sent over all the email trails and quotes etc. They sneakily put one line in the deposit invoice stating 'non-compliant install' but this was NOT ONCE discussed with us or mentioned prior. I unfortunately didn't notice it at the time and paid the invoice. They are refusing to rectify quite minor issues to be honest despite me proving this was not discussed with me. We spent a lot of money on this tank and installation and they were not even the cheapest quote we got - we went for oiltanksplus as they were the larger company and we'd hoped for better reputation and customer service - I was wrong. I would not recommend this company to anyone and if I require a new tank one day will never use them again.

I have now used Oil Tanks Plus at two separate houses and their help and advice and the work carried out by their local subcontractors has been first class. All their staff are extremely polite and friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The price was competitive, the lead time was short and I was kept informed.
The installation team turned up at the expected time, did a thoroughly professional job with a minimum of disruption, kept us informed throughout giving an explanation at the end and left leaving the place clean and tidy, (thank you for your excellent work Lee).
And thank you to OilTankPlus. I have nothing negative to say.

Fast supply and no fuss install.

Sales process was great and covered all my needs for a first tank installation.
We are now up and running with a new oil- fired heating system thanks to OTP for getting the first step in the process completed in a timely manor.

They were the first company to reply to my initial enquiry, they quickly produced quotes for all options that were very competitive with all others. They arrived on the agreed date, did the job quickly, efficiently without leaving any mess or damage & ensured my heating was up & running before they left. They could have done no more & I would happily recommend them.

The old tank needed replacing. Sent a few photos to OTP, and a very satisfactory quote received.
The old tank with 300 litres was pumped into a holding tank. My new bunded tank - sort of a pretty British Racing Green was installed onto a new base, and the 300 litres pumped back in. All done in an afternoon. Now that surprised me!
The chap who installed it has done a really good job; he was really keen to ensure we were both happy with his work. He also showed us the locking mechanism, the quantity gauge, and the other locking point on the large filler cap.
The old tank was taken away, and the installation site left tidy.
Frequent offerings of coffee and biscuits kept him warm on the 30th - it was pretty cold.
I can not thank OTP and the fitter enough for doing such a good job. Well done.
