Pacsun is a joke

Pacsun is a joke. I was sent the completely wrong order. They won't send the items I ordered (and paid expedited shipping for) until I send them back the item they sent me by mistake (illegal). I have no issue sending the item back but I needed the items I ordered specifically for this weekend (that's why i paid extra for expedited shipping) They even escalated my issue and it was still denied. DO NOT SHOP HERE THIS HAPPENS TO PEOPLE ALL THE TIME.

Please avoid PacSun if you can. If something goes wrong, their representatives will tell you whatever ends the call (even if not true), may avoid your calls, and will offer no help or goodwill even if you bear financial losses for their mistake.
Very brief summary of an extremely bad experience:
On May 22, I placed a ~$240 order as a birthday gift and paid extra for overnight shipping. On May 25, I called PacSun because tracking still showed only "label created." The representative, Benjie, assured me the package was in transit and would arrive by May 26. He never attempted to verify with the shipping company. His assurance was false. On May 26, FedEx confirmed they had never received the package from PacSun — four days after my order, only a label existed. When I called PacSun back at 4:30 PM PST, well before their closing time, no one answered multiple calls.
I had explicitly informed PacSun the gift was for someone in another country and had to arrive before my international flight. The package was finally tendered to FedEx late the night of the 27th, after I escalated. It arrived after I had already flown out, leaving me empty-handed for the occasion.
PacSun held around $240 of my money for five days, fed me false information that prevented me from buying a replacement gift in time, and I now face $80–$450 in international reshipping costs plus customs duties to get the present to the recipient. Their response: a $25 shipping refund, and no attempt to remedy or even apologize for their mistake.

Package refund refusal

Been a loyal customer of Pacsun for over a decade and my package was stolen due to miscommunication from the deliverer and they are making me file a police report in order to get a refund/reorder. I live in a major city and that is a huge waste of time for me and the police over freaking bikinis. I have never had a problem with my orders where this is some type of pattern. I've been shopping here for so long you would think my loyalty would be rewarded with some basic customer service after all the money I've spent. So so so disappointing they've lost a customer.

Most frustrating “customer service”.

Pacsun has given me one of the most frustrating, dishonest customer service experiences I’ve ever dealt with. After spending several hours on the phone with both FedEx and PacSun, the situation is beyond clear: FedEx admitted they delivered my package to the WRONG house, even though the correct address was on the label. The delivery photo proves it. FedEx confirmed the mistake and also stated, very plainly, that the shipper (Pacsun) is responsible for filing the claim.
And yet PacSun keeps refusing to do their part.
Instead of taking responsibility, PacSun keeps sending me in circles, insisting I file a police report for “theft” when no theft occurred. A police report can only be filed for a crime, and FedEx has already acknowledged this was a misdelivery, not a criminal act. PacSun knows this. I’ve told them. FedEx has told them. The photos show the wrong house. There is no ambiguity here.
What makes this even more infuriating is how obvious the runaround is. PacSun is clearly trying to avoid handling the claim they are obligated to file. Every conversation feels like a deliberate attempt to stall, deflect, and push responsibility back onto the customer.
Fortunately, I recorded all the calls and saved every email, so there’s a complete record of FedEx admitting the error and PacSun refusing to act on it.
This isn’t just bad customer service. It’s evasive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. PacSun had every opportunity to resolve this, and instead chose to make the process as difficult and exhausting as possible.
If you value your time, your money, or basic accountability, think twice before ordering from PacSun. The moment something goes wrong, they will do everything they can to avoid helping you.

Garbage ass company that doesn’t live up to their shipping expectations and forces multiple rounds of inquiry and explanation to eventually ensure you don’t get your products in time, don’t know where your package is, and cannot get ahold of anyone in a timely fashion to help.

Order NEVER Delivered, Refused Refund or Replacement

I never received my order. I was at home the entire day and so was my entire family and they claim it was delivered… we never saw a single package. They refused to refund or replace my $100+ order unless I filed an entire police report for a stolen package. It wasn’t stolen… it was never delivered or delivered wrong… this was their error not mine, and they made it my responsibility to fix. I had to take it up with PayPal, who I thankfully had placed my order through and gave me a full refund. DO NOT do online orders with PacSun. I had previously years ago, but never again.

clothes are super cute, but customer service was horrible

went into the mall and into pacsun, and the workers were horrible. i went earlier in the morning, around 11 am to beat the crowd, so there was only 1 other person in the store other than me. when i requested to try something on, the girl folding clothes near the counter sighed and sounded very put out. after that, while i was browsing through items, the workers made it seem like i was in the way and a huge nuisance. when checking out, i attempted to make small talk and received passive aggressive answers and one word responses. i'm not a morning person either but it bothered me that they were so rude. also got weird looks and questioned for looking at mens graphic tees because i'm a teenage girl. not my fault your women graphic tees aren't cute. only thing that kept me from rating it one star was the clothing. the products are super cute and there are (sometimes) good deals for certain items.

My daughter placed an order and the…

My daughter placed an order and the package went to an old address. She notice the mistake immediately. Once I guess the process starts it’s no way to cancel. The customer should not be penalized for that. She’s a college student that was her bday outfit. I repurchased the outfit for her. They would not give her money back. So we paid double for one outfit. They solutions was to file a police report. Customer service sucks. I will never shop with them again

Do not order from Pacsun!

PacSun has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They sent me a completely different item in the wrong size, and on top of that, I’m expected to pay for the return myself. I opened a case with PayPal, and PacSun provided a return address that doesn’t even exist. I compared it with their actual shipping address, and it doesn’t match at all.This is extremely unprofessional and honestly very suspicious.I strongly recommend not ordering from them online. It feels like they simply don’t care about their customers.

NEVER ORDER FROM PACSUN ONLINE

Listen up. PacSun has great products, but go to an actual store, and NEVER ORDER ONLINE. They use DHL shipping and it takes forever with NO UPDATES. Their chat is useless, and their live customer support is not much better; they pretty much read from a script. I am waiting for a gift to arrive, which will not arrive in time, so now I have to get something else.

Stole money off my refund and refuse to return it

I should have checked the 1.4 already star rating before ordering but here we are. I have been away on a backpack trip and finally got home to check my bank statements and noticed they refunded me $8 less of what they should have. I contacted customer service and they keep insisting to give me a gift card which I DO NOT want as the clothes are cheap quality and that is why I returned them in the first place. I shoudn't be punished for their error, and why they refuse to give me back the money to original payment is crazy. I will never ever shop here again, they will try to short change you and refuse to fix it, even with proof of bank statements.

Delivery scam

Awful experience. Never again!
1 order of 8 items was divided into 2 shipments. 1st package got delivered with just one item. Never received my second package with the remaining 7 Items.
No tracking number, no way for me to know or understand where the second package is located. I called and they told me that even the second package is been delivered. But on the app it says it’s not, and that it was just shipped (still no tracking details available). Of course that’s not the case.
Now in order for me to get a refund I had to figure it out at the police station, and open an investigation.
288$ spent.

They do not honor refunds

I purchased an item that qualified for their extended refund timeline for the holiday season. The a store in Salt Lake refused to honor the refund even after showing what their website said. I bought the item on Nov 17 and anything from Nov 1st to Dec 25th could return until late Jan. The store said the policy did not take affect until after thanksgiving.

After contacting customer service, they confirmed the store was incorrect and offered for me to return with the QR code for free at UPS and I was able to make a return and received notification I made the return and also had a receipt.

However I was never refunded. After awhile, I filed a dispute. Because Pacsun changed the amount and date of purchase on the return QR code my dispute was denied. On top of that I found out PACSUN lied and said I never returned the item for 147 back. I do have an email chains referencing the exact order number and return code. I even have a receipt from ups and a confirmation email stating I returned thr item, but I was never refund. So now I am out that money and considering small claims.

2 months to send out an order

These people took 2 months to send out my order. Came here stained. Refused to do anything about it. They don’t let you cancel orders either so god forbid you make a mistake. This place is trash. I stupidly placed another order and I’m having the exact same issue and I’m going to be pissed if it’s stained again

2 items purchased and paid from the internet site. 1 item was announced out of stock afterward. 1 item was announced as being lost in transit 1 month after shipping. Both items were refunded but the total refund was 80% of initial price. is this a scam site?

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. It is a miracle that this store is still in business with how awful their customer service is, even at the corporate level. They've been around since I was a kid in the 90's. I recently started shopping with them again in the last year, because they carry Brandy Melville/John Galt. However, it is absolutely NOT worth it.
There is a reason their customer service hours are so limited, and close so early in the afternoon. Business must be so limited they can't afford regular hours for customer service. They could be better to their customers and maintain a customer base, but alas, they choose not to be.
Every time I have ordered from them, they either don't send what I ordered (they send something similar or something that is the same color, but not the exact specific item I ordered and paid for). OR they list items as different colors, take the photos in different light, only to send you identical items if you order one of each. OR they do not check the condition of the items before sending, and stuff often comes from store locations or wharehouses in damaged condition, and arrives in multiple packages for one order---all complicated and poor quality control. It's been problem after problem when I've ordered from them online, and you have to fight tooth and nail for help setting up a return, or to get them to cover the cost of return shipping when they send damaged or incorrect items--their legal responsibility. They want customers to pay for their mistakes and flawed orders. If you escalate to corporate, you will get a Director of Customer Service named Pablo, who will talk to you like you're a moron, and he will be argumentative and rude---at least in my experience.
He tried to make it seem like I'm the problem. No apology or acknowledgement of their failures. He implied that I've had multiple issues and my account is flagged. Mind you, they have never offered me any discounts or concessions or apologies. I've never asked them for anything for free. I've simply asked them in the past and recently, to cover the cost of their own return shipping due to their own mistakes and issues, when I have returned items to them in the same condition they send them to me in, unworn by me, and with the tags attached (that is if they've sent them to be in such a state). I have even in the past re-ordered the items they sent damaged! I've placed maybe four or five large orders over three years and hadn't in a long time, because of their repeat issues. My mistake for trying Pacsun again.
My last order had a pair of pants with no tag, a sweater that did not at all look as it was supposed to, another pair of pants with multiple animal hairs and a long dark hair stuck to it (gross, and shouldn't have been packed that way), and a shirt with stitching defects. I asked for a return to be set up at their expense (not mine) and they refused. They finally eventually sent me a shipping label that would cost me $5 to print, at a carrier located nowhere near me----$20 worth of gas away. When I escalated to corporate asked for a reasonable alternative for return shipping, Pablo, the person at coroporate in charge of customer service, was rude, argumentative, and repeatedly kept saying to me "we're talking semantics" as if I were a moron, and as if he had just learned the word "semantics" as his word of the day, without actually understanding what that word means. It's not semantics. Either you arrange a return at no cost to me (deduct from the total refund and then refund it back separately, or you don't); t's not rocket science. I shop online weekly from various retailers, and never have such aggravation with any other retailer, nor do I receive packages in such bad shape so consistently, from any other retailer.
Mistakes and defects are one thing, but bad customer service on top of that is the nail in the coffin. I'm done. Pacsun no more. There is a reason Pac sun is rated so poorly on every review forum.
