This website sucks. When I tried to refill my monthly bill, it says that it was added to the cart. However, it wasn't. And I have tried over and over and over again to refill without success. Pageplus better fix this website right now. And no, I won't call their customer service line because their customer service also suck. This company will ho bankrupt if this continues. And the day of experience is every month, not just today.

Best choice for a light use back up phone.
I have T mobile as the main provider but I needed a pay by use back up phone with a different provider. Page Plus is the only MVNO with Verizon network and coverage which provides that. with junk fees and taxes it's 11.50 every 120 days , which means for as little as $ 35-/ year you have a back up phone with excellent coverage.
Since Verizon took over, there have been some unpleasant changes. The mobile internet is NOT available any more on a strictly pay by use basis. Replenishment only works by phone. Cheap phones not available any more. And if you forget to replenish and are one day late, they will take your entire credit, in my case $ 115.with no courtesy whatsoever.
But since there is practically no alternative, I am still giving 4 stars.
Possible Fraud
We used Pageplus for a couple years and finally left them because their customer support is atrociously bad and their website is terrible, nearly impossible to navigate.
When we decided to get away from them I wasn't even able to cancel the plans we had, so since we were already closing the account they were using for payment we just let it go so they would cancel themselves due to nonpayment. Well, somehow they found the card number for our new account at a completely different bank and started auto-billing it without authorization OR notice. This went on for months before we realized what they were doing.
Now, they refuse to refund that money and are playing stupid about how they got that new card information or where they got it from. During our last correspondence, immediately after informing them we'd filed a complaint with the FTC they hung up without response.
I would stay far away from these people if I were you. There is something very shady going on here.
Just so fed up with their text support
Just so fed up with their text support. I got a new phone and switched my sims card to the new phone. All works well but I cannot receive text messages. After working with tec support, they suggested a new sims card. installed the new card after having page plus tec support change the new card to my existing number. Still no text received, switched the new card to my old phone, a ok receiving text messages. Called text support, told me all looks good on their end. So I called the phone manufacture, and they told me the problem is with my provider, meaning page plus tec support is not catching the problem. I have red that you have to have cdma-less enabled to work, and there is no setting on this phone like the old one has. I tried to tell them about this, and they just kept saying, everything looks good here. It would be great if you could get someone on page plus to listen to you, ready to switch to another provider!
Excellent deal for light usage
My cellphone is a second phone. For a light user, Pageplus is the cheapest game in town. The coverage is excellent, and if you simply buy prepaid minutes and skip the bill, you can buy a card for as little as ten dollars that expires in 4 months. How much cheaper do you expect? It's a great idea if you have a landline or office phone where you do most of your calling, and just need to get the odd call when you are out and about.
Awesome bang for your buck!
Our household has been using this company for our prepaid cell provider coming up on 2 decades. At one point 4 of us were enrolled in the pay as you go. The monthly price has not gone up in over 15 years. The cell coverage is good. When I call in, I can talk to a real person, and I ALWAYS end up getting my issue resolved. Sure sometimes it takes 3 calls before I talk to someone who can actually help, but for around $3 a month, with a card that lasts for 120 days and carries over, you can not beat it. Thank you page plus!
HORRIBLE
I have been a customer of this company for probably 20 years now. Since Tracfone bought them, they fail to renew my plan every single month even though they take my payment. The same thing happens to my boyfriend. They are rude and their customer service is abominable. Stay away

They used to be a good service provider years ago. Now if there is a problem they say they can't do anything about it. I have lost about a month of data service after paying for months now. I have to call in every month now to get it cu on. I asked for a credit or refund and they won't do it. The only thing that makes this company halfway decent is the fact they're using Verizon lines. I had Verizon and I didn't have this problem ever. They just bill you to death with $200 to $300 a month charges! I'm considering going to another provider that takes care of their customers. I am always talking to an Asian person. Hey may have outsourced as a reason for bad service now.
Excellent service and coverage.
Excellent and knowledgeable customer service (a rarity these days.) They also answer within 10-30 seconds of going thru the menu when you call and select the option to speak with an agent if you need to. Their auto-billing works well, and no contract is required. Their website is a bit clunky and a little confusing to navigate, but it has all the functions you need. I have been with them for about 6 years now. For $40.67 per month including tax (the $39.95 Plan) I get Unlimited Talk, Text, Data (First 8 GB Data up to 4G LTE Speed then 2G; Video typically streams at DVD quality.) They buy their bandwith from Verizon, and I get excellent coverage all over the country when I travel (only drops out in the mountains, which is to be expected.) They helped me figure out how to set up my second SIM slot when I went to France and how to avoid any roaming charges. I am very happy with Page Plus, and it would take an awful lot to get me to switch.

I've been a customer for years and, once upon a time, would recommend to others. Lately however, it's all went into the crapper.
Yep, 3 weeks ago my phone stopped working. The network symbols were all illuminated on the display, but I have received no calls or text. I thought I was having a slow week or that everyone was mad at me. Nope, my father drove for almost an hour to my house prior to calling the police because he thought I'd "off'd" myself because neither he nor anyone else could reach me with calls or texts.
On the phone for an hour with customer service and a few hard resets later, it began working again. 10 minutes later, I was still catching up on texts and voicemails that had collected. A week ago, my auto-pay failed for unknown reasons. I've paid this way for years and it fails now?
Another call to Customer Support and an hour of my life wasted. Yesterday, I tried to call my father (you know, to assure him that I don't have a gun in my mouth) and it went straight to the customer support recording. I tried multiple times with the same result. Another call to customer support and something on their end and ANOTHER hard reset on my end and it begins working again.
Yesterday evening, I tried to call internationally (as we're promised we can) and the same issue where it forwards the call straight to customer service again. I will end up calling customer service back THREE more times with this issue still unresolved.
SUMMARY- Page Plus USED to be a low cost alternative some years ago, but lately I wouldn't recommend. I don't know what happened to them, but as I write this, I'm shopping for another carrier after being with Page Plus for YEARS.
User's recommendation: Look around for another carrier, Page Plus is done for.

They have always lacked competent customer service and support; however, my most recent experience was unbelievable. A representative held me on the phone for what seemed to be an hour and asked for information pertaining to the phone which I gave her. She never answered the initial question which is why I called and of course my issue was not resolved. The call was really a waste of time for the both of us.

FRAUDULENT COMPANY THAT STEALS YOUR $$$
Worst cell phone company. They teamed up with Verizon and decided to mess up the service of countless customers. They strung me along and like other reviewers on here, had me doing hours of troubleshooting over a period of 2 months and every single person I talked to gave me a different explanation of the problem (all LYING and talking out of their A$$). I had no service throughout this entire time. They even had me buy another sim card to see if that might work but I didn't receive it so I had to order another one and they refused to refund me the price of the first sim card.
After calling customer service and being played with over two months, I was told to find a different carrier because I would never get service with them after their IDIOTIC service update, so I did. The customer service rep Randell specifically told me to switch my service and port my number to my new company so I don't lose it, then to call PagePlus back to be refunded the $19 I still had on my balance. I called customer service today and talked to Shondra to be refunded the $19 I still had in my account and SHE REFUSED TO ISSUE ME THE REFUND. She just kept repeating like a robot that she can't issue me my refund because I don't have a number with them (remember, I had been told to port my number out before being refunded the $19 so I wouldn't lose my number). She also REFUSED to transfer me to a supervisor, just like another reviewer on here mentioned. They probably told her to refuse refunds to all customers so this lying, fraud committing company can just STEAL CUSTOMERS MONEY. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY EVEN ONE CENT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. All they do is LIE to customers and STEAL YOUR MONEY and provide no service.

Their customer service is the most horrendous thing I have ever encountered. 15 plus phone calls, over 5 hours on the phone with them and nobody is helpful. They say they will transfer you to a department to help only to be "transferred" and hung up on. When you call and ask a question they immediately put you on a hold that lasts far to long. Was told a supervisor would call me back to ensure I didn't get transferred and hung up on and the never happened. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. The trouble is not worth the low price. They won't unlock our phone that meets criteria because it is refurbished even though it owes no balance. They are literally the worst.

Horrific service
Terrible service, I tried to pay my phone bill and I talk to the people for over 3 hours and they took my money but my phone is still not working sooo... I mean what the heck there service is trash they have a trash team, they should be kicked off the market I had a $12 plan and I ended up spending $30-$40 and my phone is still not own I don't advise this plan because this is ridiculous they should be shut down for this if I could give less than 1 star I would if I could give them - ♾️ I would this is terrible

I bought a phone from a dealer of page plus but was never told the phone is locked for a year. I change carriers with out knowing this. It took the new carriers 2 weeks of constant calling page plus to release my #. That finally happened but they charged me 3 days early on my account. The store owner reached out to me after a bad review and returned my money for the phone, WORST CO>

Ah, you might want to check dates and wording on the positive reviews here. When I started with PP years ago, they were the only affordable option to use the Verizon network. Once PP was bought out a few years back by some French company, customer service evaporated. Untrained techs man the lines, telling you to reset your phone, get new sim cards, etc when the problem is on their end. Want to change a payment method? Good luck with that, it has to be done through a rep. Want to change auto billing? Call a rep. Think your phone is compatible because their website says it is after you enter the IMEI? Think again, they'll cut your service and change their minds months after it worked without a hitch. For a few bucks more a month, just use Verizon prepaid and get 3 times the data. It is just not worth the headache.

I was using verizon for so many years I been on a contract with them for over 5 years my bill was over $120 plus tax every month I find out about page plus from a friend and they using verizon towers and to my surprise I could use my own verizon phone with them and the best part is I have the same plan and the same service but now I am only paying $45 a month the only down side to make a payment I need to call them every month. Other then that the service is great

Page Plus cellular is a virtual network provider ... meaning they lease their network from other providers - in this case Verizon.
So great coverage, incredible prices, decent customer service.
For the price, i don't expect good customer service ... and yes, it used to be pretty entertaining to call a service rep ; 15 minute wait to talk to someone who would possibly hang up on you if they didn't know the answer.
but recently, 12/2011, whenever i call , i get really really great service - quick, knowledgeable, and friendly - way beyond what i pay.
No contract, lots of plans, pay as you go, monthly auto bill.
Unlimited plan is $39.95.
I have a great plan that is perfect for me -
The 12 ; 250 minutes, 250 texts, 10mb data a month for $12 - no tax.
My phone has wi-fi and i am frequently around a hotspot , also using google phone for longer phone calls.
The one catch with Page Plus is that they want you to buy their phones .. really limited and kinda expensive.
but you can use any verizon phone - but some of the services - like internet connectivity - might not work.
I highly suggest the palm pre pixi plus on ebay ... all the service work with Page Plus, and its a great touchscreen qwerty phone with wifi and really great OS all for under $50. ( it would be perfect if it was CDMA and i could use it in other countries. )
