My very 1st bad experience in Turkey.
I put one star, but it is really 0 stars.
I would like to advise you before you make a mistake. I booked a car using DISCOVER CARS website. I selected PANDORA CAR HIRE. But when I arrived at Antalya, this is TUTRAS CAR.
They charged me twice time the insurance. I show them the VOUTCHER with the extra insurance option I took on DISCOVER CARS. They ignored it and told me if something happen on the car, I will have to pay. They also not deduct the prepayment I made to DISCOVER CAR. The price I got from DISCOVER CARS was on Euro. But after they added the extra insurance, they convert the Lira price on dollars. The price was 25% more expensive than what was agreed with DISCOVER CARS. It was 2 am and their office is not at the airport. So I was with my family and I had a long trip to achieve between Antalya and Istanbul. The car they gave me is from 2008 with 152000 km in very bad condition. They gave me a car with 1 litre of diesel.
After few days, the car indicated an engine default on the dashboard and the car had a performance issue. It was very difficult to drive a car very slow in motorway and in the road. I contacted the agent by WhatsApp to complain about the very bad car he gave me, about the payment I did and the extras I paid for nothing. He ignored me, he did not help me when I had the issue with the car. I need to write a book to share all the details. My conclusion: Please do not contact this company. A true company and a honest manager will recognise his fault and make the right decision to investigate, refund the money to customer and use feedback to improve their services.
If they just answer to a feedback by telling it is a lie, it will show you how they respect their customers. I don't feel they consider me a customer. They did not apologise. They know what they did and they did never answer me. Now we are in public place. I made am official complain through DISCOVER CARS. I hope DISCOVER CARS will clarify with PANDORA and I hope PANDORA will react and assume their responsibilities as they outsourced to TRUTAS CAR. I really advise this 3 companies (DISCOVER CARS, PANDORA and TUTRAS) to refund my money they stole. If not, it will show to all potential customers what is the risk to rent to them. At least I alerted you. Don't tell you don't know. I made this mistake and I shared it honestly to prevent other to make the same mistakes. I hope this review will help the maximum of people to avoid this bad experience. This is just the beginning. I will share my bad experiences in different forums and different medias. Stay stunned. If they don't come back to me with the refund, I will contact the Turkish authorities (tourist) to alert them about the bad image these companies provide about their country. I am sure they will be happy to listen to me and make the right decision to stop the mess. Thank you.
If I get my refund, I can change my review. If not, please be ready for the next step. I will make sure you will be blacklisted by all serious companies. You will lost your contracts and agreements. Be smart and assume your responsibilities. You know the true and don't try to deny. Assume it as a man and correct the mistake, this is your best option. You know how to contact me. You will have to explain to the judge your business. I hope some smart people from these companies will understand my requests and fix the issue when it is still possible. You did not give me any other alternative. Event the last day for returning the car you ignored me and you sent me another guy. Thank you.

We have booked a van for a family trip in turkey. We have found Pandora Car Hire which was very trustworthy at the first sight, they had a good cancelation policy. When our family including us couldn't travel because we infected by Covid, we had to cancel our whole turkey trip. And the cancelation was still in the cancelation time frame of Pandora Car Hire. We have reached out to the responsible office in Ankara they have took the reservation and forwarded it to the Operations & Development Manager of the company, I have a email proof that the reservation was canceled and I will receive a full refund.
Now since 4 months I have not yet receive any refund any communication way via Whatsapp, or email or telephone call is getting ignored. It was a booking over 800 Euros, thats for us not less money. I dont recommend this company at all! Since now our money is not refunded by the company Pandora. I have contacted our local lawyers office to take actions on this company to get our refund back.

This is my personal experience from there website ---------------------------------------------------
They are in intermediary agents for car rental business. They will hook you on from other websites and pretend to be the company . once you confirm with you credit card they will start charging there own fees as commission .which was never mentioned any where on the website.
After that they passed me on to the another company which charges you another set of fees for the same services which the first company charged you .
In my case i booked a car from uk for Antalya Turkey from the airport.

There were 3 companies involved :

1- Vip cars which lure you in the deal ( shows you a price without commission) after having your card details charges there commission in uk separately.

2-Pandora car used for legal emails and correspondence and another set of fees.
and passed on to :

3-Turtas car hire: Antalya:

they are not even based in the airport.
which finally gives you the car and forces you to buy extra insurance or be reasonable for any consequences , if some thing happens. Turtas car hire was telling me you will have to deal with Police and its not our responsibility if you have a minor accident .so a £420 price turned out to be £ 510
i paid for un limited WIFI and sat nav separately , which he said sorry , we don't have it .who is going to refund me ! no body !!

Not happy at all & will not Recommend them at all !

My cars brake were gone .They were screaming and screeching through my 7 days rental !

very dangerous in the mountains.

International companies Avis, budget are the same rate (n after theses extra surcharges ) and better service and well kept cars .

stay away from pandora car hire & VIP cars .com & turtas car hire --just commission hungry agents !

Je me suis fais arnaquer
On a voulu me faire payer un baksiche de 100€Ayant refusé pas eu la voiture en location et me suis retrouvé en galère à minuit …

De plus on vous fait croire à un dédommagement au bout de 20 jours mais rien reçu cela 4 mois maintenant.

What a dodgy company. We booked a hire car with them from Konya airport. We were met at the airport and told we wouldn’t receive the car at the terminal as they didn’t have permission to park the car there, so they drove us to some dodgy looking dark country lane. The Clio rental car was battered and tatty - you could tell they have no respect for it from the way they drove the car. They also took photos of my credit card, which seemed dodgy! Their customer service wasn’t great. We had a flat tyre and no one spoke a word of English to assist us, instead continually putting the phone down. The wrench in the car was so worn that we couldn’t change the wheel ourself. Pandora finally sent someone out who just wanted a €25 cash fee for just coming out, despite previously agreeing they would change the wheel. They then tried to say we damaged the wrench in our attempts to change the wheel. They just seem like cowboys who are out to make a quick buck!

I would like to make a complaint about the poor and fraudulent service we received at the Pandorra car rental in Kayseri, Turkey.

17th june - 20th june 2022

-We received a mobile hotspot (myfi) which was not working (we paid 25 euros for that) and ofcourse no offer to refund

-We were said that we will receive the excess fuel back since we got the car COMPLETELY empty from the start. Up to now I have not heard anything, NO FEEDBACK, NO REFUND!!

-The rental worker was very rude, when picking up the car. Very disorganised as well.

-Now afterwards he has not replied us nor refunded us.

Very very poor service and i regret ever renting with Pandorra.

Horrible company!

First of all, they does not have any office at the İstanbul Airport, it takes more than10 minutes to arrive.

The full insurance they sell is completlly a lie. If you have any problem, they ask you to pay all when you deliver the car. And if you want to cancel the insurance, it is imposible to reach someone! They dont answer the phones or emails.

I am asking to them to pay me back 76 euros for more than 2 months and they have just vanished! Like they are never existed.

Horrible experience, better stay away from them.

They decided to charge 7eur without notice or message before, for what? Only they know... or God... Of Course they don't give any answer on this point.

First of all the agents were friendly. However, there there were a few pain points. They initially gave us a wrong car (I requested a car with automatic transmission and they gave me a manual). When noted, they accepted right away and were willing to fix it. The process overall took a few hours and we had to go to their office which was out of airport. The 2nd car they gave us (with automatic transmission) was not clean.
They contacted us sometime during the rental asking to bring the car because the rental was over. After sending the contract to them, they agreed that it was a mistake on their part.

Арендовал машину в Кайсери. Мне дали Форд в отличном состоянии с пробегом 60000 км. На машине была хорошая зимняя резина. Автомобиль был исправен и чистый. Оформление и сдача автомобиля были своевременные и быстрые. Сотрудник компании был вежлив и приветлив. Цена аренды мне очень понравилась. Вскоре, после возврата машины, мне был возвращён мой депозит в размере 295 евро. Я остался полностью удовлетворён работой с PANDORA CAR HIRE.
Могу ответственно рекомендовать прокатную компанию PANDORA CAR HIRE.

I had a good experience of renting from Pandora/Turtas Cars in Antalia. It was a big relief that it worked out well for me, especially after reading some bad reviews. I was quite worried about what may happen as the car already had quite a few marks and scratches. Also I did not take additional insurance which was promoted heavily, as it would have added another 80% of rental cost. I was given a Renault Symbol instead of the car I booked. This appears to happen frequently with other rental compnies too. They probably don't have all the cars they show in the search results. Pick up and drop off was fast and efficient. I would recommend Pandora and will consider renting from them again

Assolutamente da evitare! Ho noleggiato un'auto con questa compagnia e ho pagato il prezzo doppio per avere la copertura assicurativa totale ( nessun deposito sulla mia carta di credito in caso di danno e nulla da pagare in caso di danno con colpa mia o di altri guidatori )
A seguito di un danno lieve arrecato all'auto a noleggio causato non da me in quanto l'auto era parcheggiato ,hanno preteso 150 euro in più ,ricattandomi con valigie sequestrate dentro la macchina che han chiuso e chiamato la polizia.
La compagnia era assolutamente al corrente che non ero stata io a danneggiare la macchina ,essendo presente una telecamera nel luogo dell'incidente ma la cosa importante per loro è stata frodarmi perché al corrente che il responsabile del danno non avrebbe pagato.
Sconsiglio chiunque si rechi in Turchia di noleggiare un auto con loro salvo avere grossi grossi guai!

The car was old and a little bit noisy when driving ,I was sposed to recive a full fuel tank but I get a car with an empty despite in the renting policy it was sposed to be full. Next time I will rent a car from a well known hire company and pay a little more.

They canceled my reservation in Antalya Airport with no reason and any notification. I came out from the airport and had no car. After my call to the office they blocked my phone number. Rabble and ignorance. They did not return my money still.

Insurance that you take when rental is total fake.
They charged me in Antalya office for little demage despite of full coverage without my accept of payment.

Pas sérieux pas professionnel ils se disent à l’aéroport alors que c’est 10 minutes de l’aéroport On monte avec le monsieur désagréable pour se diriger vers l’agence il nous demande de payer la caution par carte leurs machines ont des problèmes du coup on demande À payer la caution en espèces le monsieur nous dit que c’est pas possible du jamais vu un cauchemar le soir avec un bébé qui pleure la chaleur même pas de coeur il annule notre location pour nous déposer à l’aéroport un vrai cauchemar sur le chemin on demande de nous dépose à notre l’hôtel qui pas loin il nous dit je suis pas un taxi ! Après oui mes vous me donner 25€ qui est beaucoup pour eux ! Vraiment pas de coeur je suis encore choqué attend Toujours notre remboursement de puis une semaine malgré les mails et les appels toujours pas de virement merci de fair au plus vite

Wir haben im Internet ein Auto aus der Kategorie Oberklasse gebucht aber wir hab einen Kleinwagen erhalten wo nur 2 Koffer reingepasst haben. Außerdem hat das Auto wenig Leistung und Bremsen funktionieren nicht. Ebenso macht der Motor laute unnormale Geräusche.

A very bad experience at Pandora rental car, Izmir after only a 2-days subcompact rental. They charged my credit card 295Euros (instead of the usual RENTAL HOLD). Then they refused to return these funds to me even though it was their agreed mistake. I showed their manager Gokhan the proof but he gives me nothing but bla-bla-blah. Wasted many hours on this already! Never again will I use this company. I will write further bad reviews because this company gives Turkey a bad name!

Weiten Abstand halten. Die kommen zur verdammten Rückgabe zu spät und bleiben nicht erreichbar. Ich hatte meinen Flug fast verpasst. Das Geld auf der Kreditkarte ist weiterhin ohne Grund gesperrt.

In September 2020, we rented a car at Pandora car hire in Antalya. It wasn't a good experience. The car was quite old. The car was after an accident and not very well restored. The front lights shone down almost did not illuminate the road ahead and at night it was very difficult to drive. The hood was poorly closed and strongly strummed on each bump.
But there was something good, the car had a diesel engine, so it was easy to go through the mountains and used up a little fuel.
