This is a lovely house in a fab location. On arriving we were disappointed with the standard of cleaning. The main bedrooms towel rail was very dirty and I wiped with a wet wipe and it was dreadful. The floor was not clean. We did a small load of washing in one of the machines and luckily my friend went to check it and we found a flood. It was either blocked or a pipe had come unattached. A lot of effort required to mop up. The house is very well equipped and the shower room for surfers on the ground floor is fab.

The quality of the house it really was…Extremely Comfortable
The quality of the house it really was home from home - and the big bonus was having air conditioning which we have at home and find it invaluable!
Also the house was very quiet - it had everything you wanted to enjoy a lovely stay be it rain or shine.
My only negative comment would be the quality of the bed linen it was quite thin!

We had the most Perfect Stay at Samphire in Trevone.
As we stepped through the door we felt welcome, relaxed and at home. The property, its facilities, presentation and cleanliness were outstanding.
Samphire easily accommodated our party (aged from 7 months to 70+ years old) with plenty of space for us to be together or have time apart. The fabulous open plan kitchen, lounge area and dining area, together with the garden and barbecue area provided lovely spaces for meals, coffees, playing games, looking at maps etc. The bedrooms were very spacious and very comfortable.
We all fell in love with Trevone, enjoying its beautiful beach and tranquil atmosphere. Giving such easy access to so many places we enjoyed lots of fabulous days out: Harlyn Bay, Padstow, Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth, St Merryn, Tintagel, bike rides on the Camel Trail, a ferry across to Rock and walks along the coastal paths were some of the highlights.
The service provided by the team at Perfect Stays was personal and faultless from first contact. They answered queries promptly and their local knowledge was invaluable in making our holiday so easy and so special.
I would book another holiday with Perfect Stays in a heartbeat and would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone.

Stayed in Gwel Arvor in Port Isaac
Our family stayed at Gwen Arvor in Port Isaac. Whilst we were all out at the beach one day the owner/manager called Johnny came into the house without our permission. There was no emergency and he gave no notice. There is no safe in the house and no internal locks on any of the doors. This made us feel very uncomfortable. After that we always made sure someone was in the house. Perfect Stays dismissed this far too lightly in our opinion.

As we understand, a representative from the owner’s property management team, entered the property very briefly whilst you were out, in order to provide you with a bottle of fizz in acknowledgment, and by way of apology, for an unfortunate oversight in relation to your requested bedroom configurations. However, we do fully appreciate that the nature of how this gesture was delivered caused discomfort among your party, and your feedback certainly hasn’t been lost on us.
Immediately following your initial feedback, we reached out to the owner’s property management team to confirm that further prior warning should be given ahead of their visits to all guests during their stay, to avoid any concern or discomfort. As this would very much be our own expectation.
We're truly sorry that this occurred during your time at Gwel Arvor, but we do hope that you had a wonderful time at the property as we'd very much wish to welcome you back again soon, albeit in more positive circumstances.

60th celebrations
We stayed with my family for my 60th Birthday end of August . The house has the most beautiful views of Polzeath . The house is so beautiful it suited our teenage grandchildren with a games room and to area . The kitchen had everything we needed to entertain inside and out . The utility room was wonderful with extra shower when we came back from a long day at the Beach . We loved The Mariners and the Rum bar on the beach serves great cocktails . Perfect stays couldn’t have done anymore , even allowing us in slightly earlier .

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Trevenek in Cornwall. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. The property is set in a stunning location, just a short walk to the beautiful beach and coastal walks.
The accommodation itself was spotless, well-equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, loved the welcome pack with local treats.

Perfect Stays are aptly named
Perfect Stays are aptly named. The property Roscarrock is perfectly located with sensational views over Porthcothan Bay. You can be on the beach in a couple of minutes, and if the weather is not great there are plenty of facilities at the house ( media room, steam room, sauna) to keep you entertained. The staff at Perfect Stays are exceptionally friendly and efficient, with clear communications that make the whole booking process simple, and they are there to support you throughout your stay if there are any niggles or queries to resolve.

Poldhu was the perfect house for our multigenerational holiday, excellent position as it was only a short walk from the Harlyn Bay beach, spacious with plenty of room for dogs, teenagers, baby and adults. Comfortable and well equipped.... a "perfect stay"! Thank you.

The best holiday home company I have ever used!
I have used Perfect stays many times now and their service is absolutely wonderful! They are a great responsive team and their independent approach shines through with a dedicated team that clearly have to deal with issues outside of their remit. This company are my 'go to' for the best quality homes in the
South West and you will not be disappointed with their service.
I have always been delighted with the top quality homes they manage (although my recent stay at Seastar Portcothan was not so good so would not visit this home again) Even so, Perfect stays did their upmost to assist and deal with any issues. I cannot recommend their services highly enough and would definitely use them if I become a holiday home owner!

Not such a "Perfect Stay" experience
We have just returned from a week at Seaglass House in St Maws, and it was far from a Perfect Stay experience, as the company name would suggest. The house itself was very lovely (although the light switches are difficult to master and the floors were filthy), but the customer service from Perfect Stays is where the experience fell short.
A concierge service is not a service that should be offered unless Perfect Stays can actually deliver assistance. I called in April with a number of activities but had to chase three times over three weeks before anyone even replied to me. In the intervening time, having noted an interest in a further property for 2026, I booked Red Cove and paid a deposit. I then automatically received an email offering the concierge service for Red Cove, and I quote my reply below:
"Thanks for your email, Megan, offering the concierge service for Red Cove. I am, however, roughly three weeks into a wait for resolution to the requests I placed for Seaglass House, [which is our holiday] this June. Could you chase whoever is dealing with this, as I am a little frustrated. I have chased three times."
I then received a reply.
This experience has made me super nervous for next years holiday; I sincerely hope it doesn’t cause me the same amount of stress as this years has.

Delivering exceptional service is something our team take huge pride in, so we’re committed to making things right for your upcoming stay at Red Cove. A member from our Guest Experience team will be in touch with you directly to address your concerns and put your mind at ease.
We’d like to apologise for the delay you experienced in awaiting a response from our Concierge team while planning your stay. As far as we’re aware, all of your initial concierge requests were fulfilled, excluding dog-sitting due to unavailability with our third-party contacts. We initially reached out regarding our Concierge service following your booking in January, and then again in March to ensure you’d be able to make the most of this service. Immediately after your call with our Guest Experience team outlining your requests, our team began contacting our third-party suppliers to collate their availability and quotes on your behalf. During this phone call we reassured you that you’d receive an email compiling the full details once we had received confirmation of availability and pricing for each activity. As you may appreciate, contacting multiple suppliers to arrange bookings during the peak summer season can be incredibly time-consuming and requires extensive back-and-forth communication. As such, unfortunately we hadn’t been able to confirm your six requests in time for your follow-up email. You received a response from a member of our Concierge team within 24 hours of your follow-up email, explaining we were still working on confirming your requests and would be able to provide a full itinerary of confirmed suppliers in due course. Unfortunately, during this bank holiday period there was a delay in receiving responses from our suppliers, in turn delaying our response to you. Our Concierge team work incredibly hard behind the scenes outreaching third-party suppliers – at this time of year there’s incredibly high demand and replies can be delayed. While this is outside of our control, we sincerely apologise for not providing regular updates on these delays.
Once we’d been made aware of the cleanliness issue during your mid-stay call (the day after your arrival), we contacted the owner’s housekeeping team immediately to raise and resolve the issue. Since your stay, we’ve raised this feedback with both the owners and their servicing teams to ensure this doesn’t happen again, and that our usual standards of cleanliness are upheld.
We look forward to welcoming you at Red Cove next year and will ensure our Concierge team provide regular, timely updates surrounding your concierge requests.

The best holiday letting company. Amazing!
A fifth time, I think, we've stayed with Perfect Stays, at two different properties. We stayed at The Hideout at Mawgan Porth, as with all properties in the PS portfolio,it's a great quality place. What really makes it out is the service provided by PS, really exceptional care and support, and attentive to just the right degree. Fantastic concierge service, used for a private chef for a significant birthday family celebration. Id also like to tip the hat to the wonderful house managers Paul and Jen at the Hideout, really really lovely fantastic people who do an amazing job. Look forward to my next stay there!

Waders - A wonderful house with incredible views over Polzeath
Celebrating a very special birthday in a favourite spot for all of the family.
The house worked well for the grandparents, adults and grandchildren. Plenty of space to relax and watch the rabbits in the garden!
The house is finished to a high spec with a well equipped kitchen, as well as having the outside showers, on returning from the beach. Being able to walk down to the beach was another benefit.
I cannot fault the house but oh my, those views. It was mesmeric to just sit and look at the sea at any time of the day or evening.
Perfect Stays provided great communication throughout the booking process and leading up to our stay. Really good and speedy response when we need some help on the weekend too!

Amazing property with fantastic views
Amazing property with fantastic views. All finished to a very high standard and equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Outside in the garden were lovely seating areas and we enjoying eating out in the evening with the fabulous beach views. We were very sad to leave.
