Better than cashmere socks!
Perilla is a very nice website. And aplacas aren't as detrimental to the environment as cashmere goats. Alpacas don't eat pastures bare the way cashmere goats do. Nor do alpacas' padded feet erode the ground in the same way.
I really hate the way cashmere socks can develop holes at the heels and toes so quickly. That said, alpaca socks are nice and warm, and with a higher nylon content, don't wear out anywhere near as fast as cashmere socks do.
