I have been a member of this company for 8 years. It used to be good and I would get about 2 surveys a month to complete on average. I also had done a few product tests too. I saved up my points I had earned over the years (£3 a completed survey) and had the equivalent of about £200 in 2021 which was a good time to cash out. Since that time the surveys became very far and few between. On the rare occasions I had an email to complete one, it frequently took a while to load from the link or it would say I did not qualify even though it did not even load any router questions or it would time out or freeze and if I tried to reload, it would tell me I had already completed it.
My last full survey completed and credited was in March 2025, 9 months since the previous one.
Today I had another email invite and as usual it took an age to load and then told me my profile did not match.
I then noticed that my points balance was only 600. (£6.) I looked at the redemption history to see that they had withdrawn just under 1000 points in March - about £100. They now apparently take the earnings away if not redeemed in 12 months. That is criminal. There has not been any communication from them about this policy change, they have been paid by those who they forward their surveys to us for but stealing from those who do the work.
I have cashed out my measly £6 tonight as they will steal half of that next month anyway.

War seit ungefähr 2 Jahren Mitglied und habe um die 50 Euro verdient. Pinecone gehört mit 3 Euro pro Umfrage zu den Meinungsportalen, die am höchsten vergüten, das war es für mich aber schon an positiven Punkten. Die Umfragen sind größtenteils uninteressant und die Seite funktioniert sehr hakelig, bei der Auszahlung von Prämien, die es als Gutscheinkarten oder Sachpreise gibt. Für Sachpreise muss man lange sammeln, Amazon-Karten gibt es schon ab 5 Euro. Da ich für meine letzte ausgefüllte Umfrage nicht vergütet wurde, werde ich mein Konto nun kündigen.

I’ve been a member since 2018 and used to enjoy surveys and the occasional product test. I never redeemed any points and just kept them banked for when I wanted something. In March 2025 they changed their policy and will delete unused points a year after earning them. They haven’t communicated this to their members. I had the equivalent of £220 worth of points deleted. I complained and had a reply reiterating the policy and that on this occasion they would reinstate. I’m still waiting.

War viele Jahre lang treues Mitglied von Pinecone Research. Dann hat man mir mit einer lapidaren Infomail mitgeteilt, dass ich zukünftig 40 % weniger für Umfragen erhalten soll. Dafür dürfen die ihre Umfragen gerne selbst ausfüllen.

Kommunikation ist generell recht schwierig gestaltet. War früher gut, ist mittlerweile aber nur noch schlecht.

Ansich hatte immer alles gut geklappt. Es gab im Schnitt zwei Umfragen pro Monat die jeweils mit 300 Punkten (Wert 3€) vergütet wurden. Mittlerweile klappt seit 3 Monaten gar nichts mehr. Umfragen werden komplett abgeschlossen aber es gibt keine Punkte. Auf Anfrage gibt es nur Standardantworten wie "wir haben alles überprüft, wir können nichts dafür wenn sie im Vorfeld ausgeschlossen werden". Dann antwortet man mit screens wo bestätigt wird, daß die Umfrage abgeschlossen aber es kommt trotzdem nur die gleiche Antwort. Ich habe die Seite mittlerweile gemeldet

Been a member for over 10 years and used to be one of the better survey companies but recent changes have had an adverse effect on the service. In that 10 years, despite inflation, the points value for time spent answering surveys has not increased. Then last month I received an email saying the points per survey were reducing from 400 to 300 - a 25% reduction! Also recently they started imposing a time limit after which any unused points would expire. Tried to take these concerns up with customer service but the contact email address is an unmanned box from which no replies will be sent and the online contact form restricts you to a set number of multiple choice questions / answers and any attempt to add additional information results in an error message. Have therefore cancelled membership - again the form would not allow additional comments to express reasons for leaving!!

Es wurde versprochen, dass Barauszahlungen ohne Mindestwert auch möglich sind. Für die 400 Punkte aktuell habe ich schon einige Zeit investiert und finde beim besten Willen keine Möglichkeit, dies einfach einzulösen in 4 Euro - Hilfeseite funktioniert nicht. Im Katalog gibt es nur Artikel, für die man immer unglaublich (!!!) viele (!!!)Punkte braucht. Da gibt es bessere Panels.

The surveys are well constructed and allow you to provide good feedback and opinions. Be warned that the rewards you earn will expire. However, unlike other research sites, Pinecone Research don't give you any warning or reminders that your hard earned rewards will expire. I have just had £33 worth of rewards lost due to this. So if you want to save your reward points up to get a better reward (like I had planned) you will lose your hard earned points with no recourse.

I redeemed points and in email confirmation it said I can track order by going to my account but upon logging into PINECONE there is no account only a profile. So if I have to collect order from account, which I think you do and email states can take up to 4 weeks, in which time you can forget to collect and the points apparently expire. But there is no account, what's going on, lengthy surveys, rarely get any for little points. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH PINECONE.

Don’t waste your time. The surveys are very lengthy and pay very little. I also get to do them very rarely which I didn’t mind so much because I thought I’ll just collect my points and cash in when I get enough. But then my points expired! I’m now cancelling my membership. This survey site is a scam.

Es handelt sich hierbei um ein betrügerisches Panel. Mir wurde ohne Angabe von Gründen der Panelzugang verwehrt und der Account unwiderruflich gelöscht. Es war ein nicht unerheblicher Betrag durch Umfragen verdient worden. Diesen wollte ich mir auszahlen lassen. Auch hier gabe es keine Reaktion. Unbeidngt Abstand halten von diesem Panel.

Waren mal gut, aber seit einiger Zeit wird man nach abgeschlossenen Umfragen angeblich plötzlich ausgeschlossen und bekommt dann natürlich keine Punkte, obwohl die Umfrage ja ausgefüllt wurde. Zudem gibt es sehr häufig technische Fehler mitten in halb ausgefüllten Umfragen. Auf Support Anfragen wird dann erst sehr spät reagiert und darauf hingewiesen, dass ausgeschlossene Teilnehmer keine Punkte erhalten. Reine Abzocke inzwischen!

Früher war Pinecone ein Top-Panel. Seit einigen Wochen werden Umfragen, die man beendet hat öfters nicht vergütet. Auf Nachfrage kommt dann immer der lapidare Textbaustein: Ihr Konto wurde gekündigt.
Zudem sind die Ladezeiten schlecht geworden. Ich hoffe, dass ich demnächst noch eine Umfrage abschließen kann, dann habe ich die Auszahlungsgrenze erreicht und kann mich abmelden.

Recent experience of completing surveys only to have them disappear and the staff gaslighting me when I tried to complain is unacceptable.
I have been a member for many years and their recent lack of integrity is disappointing.
I wonder if their clients or the MRS are aware of how poorly they are conducting themselves and how shabbily they are treating those that try to complete their surveys.

Seit Monaten bekomme ich keine Umfragen mehr. Auf meine email Anfrage, was los sei, bekam ich die gleiche Antwort, wie bereits die anderen hier geschrieben haben. Frechheit ist das.

This company rips off people.
I had an account for a long time and accrued a lot of money. All of a sudden I lost the ability to login and after emailing a few times asking for help and getting no reply I gave up. A few months ago I tried again and got a response saying my account had been removed for non compliance. I emailed back as this was totally unacceptable and got no response.
This company is untrustworthy, a waste of time and should be blacklisted.
If you read this and have an account with them get your earnings out fast.

Had grand sum of two "surveys" in last year, start off and give information - then I supposedly don't fit the profile. Waste of time. What a SCAM!!

I’m surprised by the bad reviews too - I’ve been a member for years and never had a problem and earned lots of points!

I tried to request a new password.since I don't have the same email.the deactivate and remove me saying. they can do what what ever they want.dont sign up to this company.they will do the same to you.there are way better surveys.
