Avoid this company. They take money off your credit card without having any work done. I have forwarded complain to trading standards. They don’t return call. There is only Scott who is manager who have no customer service sense!
I was told several times they will refund me and after months of follow up they turned back saying they won’t refund me when engineer didn’t even turn up.
Time wasters and giving stress to customers.

This is con artist company.
Came to inspect broken boiler. Said parts no longer exist and boiler must be replaced. Used pressure tactics to offer discount for new boiler if accepted there and then.
I called British Gas later and they replaced a tiny cheap part to make it all work again.
They tried to scare us saying boiler is dangerous and must be urgently replaced. All nonsense. All working fine again, wasted £120 on this bunch of crooks.

AVOID at all costs, total con artists. Tried to get me to replace my boiler at a cost of £2,400 for a "cheap and cheerful" or a £5,000 +VAT "10 year guaranteed boiler". Got a real plumber in who fixed the boiler in TEN SECONDS!

New boiler installed today, not the cheapest but they did it the same day and worked very late to make sure everything was perfect.

DON'T EVER USE PLUMBING FORCE DIRECT. WHO ALSO TRADE AS PLUNGER. THEY ARE ALSO LINKED TO ANOTHER COMPANY ELITE DOMESTIC GAS. THEY RIP YOU OFF, THEY ARE NOT REGISTERED WITH THE CORRECT PLUMBING ORGANISATIONS. THEY OVER CHARGE AND NO GUARANTEE THE WORK HAS BEEN DONE CORRECTLY.

My letter to the office administrator (Lauren Graham) of Plumb Force Direct: Avoid this company! It is not worth the hassle. Unfortunately I did not look at the reviews and (now) £347 inc VAT later..... and still with a running toilet.

My experience with Plumb Force Direct
- Monday, 24th May 12:16: I called to reschedule to - Tuesday, 25th May. A time of 16:00 was confirmed
- Tuesday, 25th May: 17:14: I called to asked where is the plumber? "I do apologize, I will check to see where he is and call your right back". No call back received.
- Wednesday, 26th May: 09:05: I called to say the plumber scheduled "NEVER TURNED UP". The response, "Im sorry, I promise they will be to you today. What time will suite? 16:00. He will be there".
- Wednesday, 26th May: 17:21: I called to find out the status of the scheduled 4pm plumber. "Oh, I am sorry, let me find out from Steve??". "Oh, he is 2 minutes away". I then go off on a rant.
- Wednesday, 26th May: 15:25: Chris (The Plumber) calls to tell me he will be to be in 42 minutes !! (Yes, 42 minutes, not what was mentioned of 2 - 1 minutes.

Summary:
- you have issues. Simple as that. Regardless of apology after apology there is a fundamental breakdown on job rostering/scheduling, delivering on promises (timings) for the prices you charge, leaving a customer feeling the value is not there.

The left had is not talking to the right hand and as a customer you are stuck in the middle. Dispatch talking over the customer, simply not listening does not help.

I don't want to hear another apology; it has little weight now. Please review your booking systems, monitor your service delivery via an app, so you can call and notify a customer on any delays or the customer can track themselves. A little investment can go along way and minimize your dispatch from getting bombarded and "frazzled" from questions such as, "where is the plumber?".

The drama continues.... as after the plumber installs the part in 15 minutes; I still have a running toilet a few hours later. I send an email to the office. NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.

I am lost for words. Please don't make my mistake. Avoid Plumb Force Direct.

I should have checked their rating. Seriously. They turn up a day after appointment. Then charge me me 400 for replacing valve and replace dish washer. The phone call never mention about all these cost. The quote they gave me was for call out not the actual service. It is super expensive and horrible. Avoid at all cost.

Asked them to come to fix a leak in the CH pipe leading to the radiator. I was promised an interval between 11-2, plumber called said he will be coming between 3 and 5; at 5 I called, said he is on his way, will be 40 min late. In the end he didn't show up! Not even a call to say he's not coming... what a waste of time! Avoid them. I wish I read the reviews before talking to them.

This company is a total scam. They charged me £350 to fix a blockage in my kitchen sink. They left with me with a leakage. Then I called to get someone to come and look at it again, and they have avoided me. They kept saying, "engineer is on the way". It's been one week of that nonsense.

And it is true what they say about Scott. He is a liar and a scammer too. Promising to call back and never did. They eventually blocked my number.

Avoid and save yourself some money.

Terrible company. Overcharged for services not provided, despite Scott Hall promising a refund and liaising with director Stuart Hall, this has never been refunded, neither was a invoice provided for the work undertaken. The engineer that attended was rude and incredibly pushy. I would not recommend. Sadly I cannot get hold of the company any longer - suspect they block numbers, I had really hoped to have resolved this amicably and it's a shame they could not. Beware, do not use this company.

Called in the morning as I needed help with a broken boiler. They confirmed availability early afternoon. I had to chase all afternoon as nobody was showing up. Eventually had to cancel. They are an absolute waste of time, stay away.

We had a problem with our electric boiler. They inspected our problem and they offered a solution of 950pounds.Next day we watched a video online and reset the system, it started working smoothly. So they just want to get money for nothing. I paid 136 pounds for nothing.

Their plumber came to inspect the leak, turned all our water off and gave us an incredibly high estimate. We spoke with another plumber, they came the next day, turned our water back on and asked for half the price to get our water tank changed. Plumbforce direct in the meantime charged me almost 500£ for having done exactly nothing to fix the leak. Their plumber came twice, did nothing except turning off our water and asking for an absurd amount, and that was it. I've been speaking with their customer services for a week now trying to get a partial refund at least and it's a nightmare. They keep saying the refund is coming and they'll call me back to confirm. Not once they have given me a call. I've lost count of how many times I called them to try and get a clear answer. It's going to be a week tomorrow since they told me I will see my refund. Refunds don't take this long. Nightmare of a waste of time. Stay away.

Appalling experience with Plumbforce. They are totally useless

Absolutely horrible- stay away!
They came to fix a leak at my place. They charged me £1800+ for about 2 hours of work. They took over 3 months to send me the report of the work done and what's worse - the problem was not even fixed! When I informed them that the leak was back (which was in less than 3 months), they told me that it was an unrelated issue and so I would have to pay for this work completely separately. I have been asking them for a refund now for over 4 months and haven't heard back. They are definitely out there to scam people. I am a single female and clearly they saw me as a good victim for this.

Michael turned up to look at a leak at my sink, he managed to fix the leak and not damaging any of the surrounding tiles while doing so. Excellent service will use again

Avoid!!

They came to fix a blocked shower drain, I was quoted £240, they needed to take £120 as a part payment before the work even started (first red flag), the guy used a vacuum on the shower for no more than 2 minutes only to tell me he couldn't complete the job that day and it would now cost £440, the 2nd £120 payment went through after that.

I requested a refund with Scott and was assured this was no problem and would be with me in 5 business days, well this was over a month ago.

They will answer the phone sounding helpful but they will never do anything they say they will do, I requested a simple email confirmation that the refund had been processed many times and was told that would be sent right away and I am still yet to receive this.

I've had a very similar experience to the other people's reviews and I am still down £240..
