A full refund was promised but none given, by Scott at their office.
Horrible company never show up or rip you off if they do.

The plumber came promptly at designated time. He asked what the problem was, inspected the area and diagnosed the problem quickly. He didnt have the part he needed on the truck, so he went out and bought it right away. He replaced the part and explained everything he did and how the part stopped the leaking. Excellent service from a true professional.

I was super impressed with these guys. We noticed our hot water heater was leaking from the bottom. I left a message through their website, because it was Sunday and figured no one would be around. Within 30 minutes someone called me back! He was very honest with me and told me that considering the age and where the leak was it was more than likely going to need to be replaced. They went to the nearest store and bought one, so they could still complete the job without complaint. The initial cold water shut off valve was a PVC ball valve that was broken. Without me even asking they installed a metal lever shut off valve, so I could turn off the cold water input when needed. I would highly recommend this company.

I had the worst experience of my life with this company. This company is a scam and Scott is the biggest liar I have ever some across. Do yourself a favor and stay away

The plumber quoted 350 for a job that required tightening one screw, but pretented the damage is severe. Then identified a fake fault and insisted on a second visit quoting 3x the price for a spare part.

My electric shower needed to be replaced and my usual plumber was unavailable. So purchased a replacement shower, looked for plumbers online and contacted Plumbforce Direct who quoted £ 110 plus VAT, which sounded reasonable for the job. But then the trouble began, plumber was two hours late and I had to chase Sylvie to get somebody to come out that day. When he eventually turned up, he was surly, damaged the paint on a wall as I noticed the next day, and clearly didn't want to be there.
Before he even looked at the work, he told me that I had been given the wrong price and of course I had to pay the higher price. After he had gone, I found that, while I could press the power button and the shower came on but it cut out as soon as I removed my finger. When a screw dropped out, it was clear that he hadn't screwed the top in properly, so reasonably easy to fix. I contacted the office the following Monday to query the higher price and complain about the potentially unsafe installation and was promised a response within 5 working days. 10 days later, I m still waiting.

To be honest I wasn't going to write a review but after seeing the negative reviews and speaking to Scott , I wanted to share my views.

I booked my appointment for 8-10 yesterday, Marcel turned up at 9.45 and carried out the service on the boiler, all completed within the hour. Marcel tried to upsell but hey that's his job, we declined his offer and paid the £110+Vat, all in all a good service

When I called to inquire, the phone was picked up quickly. The gentleman listened attentively and asked me to text him some short video clips and pictures of my plumbing issues in my bathroom so he can give me a quote. From there on, communications through text messages were swift and smooth, and he was able to arrange someone to come to work the next day! That was a pleasant surprise because two day ago my experience with another plumbing service company was the opposite and frustrating.

Paul, the plumber assigned to my project showed up within the one-hour window the next day and wore a mask. He was courteous, professional, and efficient. Seeing the hard wood floor throughout our flat, he took off his shoes at the entrance, which I appreciated very much. An hour of intense work later, the toilet problem was fixed, and my bath drain was no longer clogged up. It was such a releif!

Awful company. Not only were they 2 hours past the scheduled time. They came to look at my boiler and i explained I bled my radiators and then my heating and hot water stopped working. They said the pump was broken and tried to say it's £600 + VAT for a new pump or can spend £2K on a new boiler. After they left I googled the issue and it was to do with the pressure being too low. So after watching a youtube video realised which valve to open. Put the pressure back to in the green and then everything was working again. Total scam artists. Beware!

I would give this company 0 stars if I could. This is by far, the worse company I have ever dealt with.

Our hot water stopped working so we contacted Plumbforce Direct to come and identify what the issue could be. They told us that the issue was due to the copper wire that sits inside our water tank, so they replaced it for us. Following this, they told us that our hot water should be up and running in a couple of hours once the new filament had a chance to kick in. Needless to say, it did not, and we were still without hot water & central heating. They came back a few days later and after about 5 minutes of doing some checks, told us that our whole system needed replacing including a new boiler as they couldn't get our current one to fire up. They quoted us £4,600 for this job. They said this was the best price they could do, and said they had also factored in the initial call out charge of £532.80 they had already charged us; making it seem as though they were doing us a favour.

Following this, we consulted another plumbing company to get a second opinion who was recommended to us by a friend. They came round, and within 15 minutes had our whole system back up and running, including the boiler. The apparent copper wire that was fitted by Plumbforce costs a mere £20 from Amazon, and the plumber who resolved the issue for us, identified no evidence of anything new being fitting into our water tank. They even commented on how simple and quick the issue was to fix. We have had hot water and central heating ever since, with no further problems. We were not in need of a new system, nor should we have been charged £532.80 to visit us and apparently fit an unnecessary £20 copper element.

The plumber who resolved the issue for us wrote up a detailed report for us to use to get our money back. However, dealing with a company such as Plumbforce Direct, who are clearly a huge scam has not been easy. I have had the misfortune of dealing with both Sylvia and Scott who have been as unhelpful as a chocolate teapot. My husband e-mailed through our initial complaint on the 4th August and recieved no response. He then followed this up on the 6th and still heard nothing back. I called up three times and was promised a call back on every occasion, but they failed to get back to me. As it stands, they still have our money, and have done nothing for it, nor have they been able to provide us with a refund or breakdown of the costs.

They have essentially charged us £532.80 for a call out. They did not fix our problem, and we had to go through another company and pay them to resolve it. Do not use this company at ANY cost. I am currently speaking with the citizens advice bureau. I am also contacting my bank to look into getting a chargeback claim and will also be taking it to the ombusment if I do not hear anything back from them within the 8 weeks of our initial complaint. I am also sending my story into the TV show Rogue Traders as it seems many other people have also had the same shoddy experience. Let's hope I can expose them for the scam artists they are.

I strongly advise anyone else in a similar position to do the same.

Overpriced, unethical, clueless cowboys. Be very careful before you employ this mob. Scott and Sylvie are the most discourteous, offensive people I’ve ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. They don’t do what they say and charge a fortune. Oh and when they ’offer’ to refund, don’t expect to receive it! Avoid at all costs.

first visit the engineer did not come at the agreed time, second day the same the engineer was supposed to arrived between 10-11am and he came at 19:30pm,
my boiler was making a wistle noise very Loud, they charge £508 to change the expansion vessel, (which normally cost £100) they also told me that it could of exploded, during the time the were changing the expansion vessel one of the wires came of of the boiler which they did not bother to put it back into place, they have also did a “free boiler service” which not reported or document was given.5 days later the boiler broke again I still have the same whistle noise very unprofessional, I have tried to called the ‘manager’, made formal complaint but never received a reply. SCAM do not use it.

Be very cautious before calling Plumbforce Direct. They are an absolute nightmare to deal with when things go wrong. I agreed a fixed price on the phone and when the plumber turned up and looked at the drain for less than 5 minutes he said he can't help. He also charged me twice the price agreed for no given reason. I've had lots of phone calls and emails since to try to get them to sort out the drain or give me a refund but so far I've had only grief. I've just had a plumber from Homeserve who sorted the drain out in 15min without any fuss and for much less than what I've been charged by Plumbforce. Think twice before calling them and check with other plumbers as well.

Was quoted a price for the job on the phone only (nothing in writing) which I agreed to. No call out charge was ever mentioned. The plumber came and quoted me an extortionate amount for the job to be done. I didn’t agree to it. He said that I will still be charged…I told him that I was never told about a call out charge and that I would not pay. I called head office and was SCREAMED at for refusing to pay. I will be reporting this company to Trading Standards. You cannot force customers to pay ANYTHING they haven’t formally agreed to. This is unethical and unprofessional.

BBC's watchdog needs to investigate this company.
They wanted payment upfront before starting the work. I was charged £429+VAT.
Their plumber was only here for 3 hours. He had a brand new van fitted with the latest equipment.
He did a basic job, but then it was nearly the end of the day and promised to come back the following day to finish rest of the work. Need I say he did not come back.

moral of the story is do not pay upfront for any work and check reviews before contacting any company

SCAM..!!! Do not book them. the website states free quotation. Two blokes came and gave me an inflated price. I didn’t want to proceed with it but they asked me to pay a service charge. I asked if there was a charge or obligation, Scott never said there was a call out fee. He then threatened to get the debt collectors.

People on here messaging are completely stupid for not checking the reviews...this company is the biggest fraudsters ive come across...scott is a serial idiot.

Total Scammers. They charged us £2000 for parts which were not needed. Didn't fix our boiler and left us out of pocket. Another engineer checked our boiler and said the parts did not need changing. Furthermore, they fitted a reconditioned PCB part in our boiler which would only cost about £50. They charged us £504.
