Misleading ad makes it appear that you are buying a solid 240cm pole when you are buying two 120cm poles with a mid way sleeve. You should not have to read the product specification in order to discover this so buyer beware!

Pole sent unboxed, with no fixings. They said it came without fixings, despite instructions showing fixings. They then said they could send the parts. 1 month passed - no parts. After chasing them a parcel came with parts I already had. Requested a return. They said their courier would advise the pick up time. Courier Co. I'd never heard of turned up next morning with no forewarning. Just had time to pack the pole. Given a paper receipt without tracking, 10 days passed before chasing them for refund. Was told they were still working on it. More time passed. Reported to Klarna, who told me to wait 30 days. After 30 days discovered Klarna had cancelled my claim without notifying me because Polesdirect hadn't confirmed receipt of the return. I reopened the Klarna claim and was told I had to resolve directly with the seller. Went back to Polesdirect who now said they had never received the return. Waited another week for them to investigate. Called them back and only now did they authorise a refund, which took another 7 days to get through Klarna

Have used Poles Direct for many years. Quality has always been excellent, hence reordering again. But, something is going wrong with this company. We have just received our order. Cannot fault delivery time and dispatch. However, the stainless steel poles we ordered have deep scratches down one length and the bracket finish is bubbled and scratched. Poor quality control here. We also measured the required length of the poles by following the instructions on the website. This states that the required length of poles should be measured without the inclusion of the finials. We ordered two sets of poles measuring 300 cm following careful measurement. However, when the finials are fitted, these slot over the pole and take up 10 cm on each side of the poles, so shortening the length by 20cm and not giving us the 300 cm required length. With this being the case, we now require poles at 360cm length. I am waiting for customer services to respond to our written request for them to resolve these issues and will update. Based on previous reviews of their customer service, we hope we do not have the same problems as others.

I thought I was buying an oak curtain pole. Not a metal pole with an oak sticker on it. Very misleading product. No part of the product headline, description or specification say this is metal.

I received my curtain pole set within a couple of days of ordering. I was impressed with the quality of the pole and how everything was well packaged within the box. The little touches such as a video and fitting instructions sent from the company show that they do care about their products and customers.
