Pleased with floor - at first!
At the beginning I was very please with the flooring. It was purchased to cover from the front to back entrance including large kitchen and conservatory. The areas with windows became the problem. I am not niave enough to not expect some fading but it was excessively bleached and changed the tiles from beige to grey and lilac! Rep from PF visited, he was very nice and accepted the issue of colour change, he took away a spare tile to be examined. Result after 8 week wait was no acceptance of fault on their part. Blamed the sun, of course! They shouldn't advertise to be used in conservatories. Stay clear!!
Worst Company and Product on earth
If I could score Polyflor as a company or CamaroLoc as a product any lower than 1 then I would. Take my advice, as Showroom manager of an installations company, this is the most dangerous product in the market. Splits in the joints are as inevitable as the lies from Polyflor’s staff. We now have 8 jobs over a two year period where issues have been reported under warranty and Polyflor have cited and number of ridiculous issues. Many of the issues they have used to wriggle their way out of replacing their faulty product are not referred to in their installation guides or small print. Our teams have installed every type and brand of floor you can imagine. Polyflor CamaroLoc is my best guess for the worst pound for pound product on the planet, so at least that’s something to be proud of...
not fit for purpose
Sent a product that was not fit for purpose, would stane, leave track marks, was told to not put anything on top. When we tried to resolve it they were rude, defensive and augmentative. They came to inspect and took up a sample told us they would replace it and then told us they wouldn't after words.
Please do yourself a favour stay away!
Dreadful Service with no conclusion or apology
The worst company it has ever been our experience to deal with. Our flooring has been lifted and examined without the courtesy of replacing; our flooring is terrible and they have effectively washed their hands of us after several visits. - “not our problem” - blaming the glue, blaming the fitter, everyone but themselves. And we are left with an embarrassing gaping mess of expensive tiles no one seems inclined to fix or replace. Avoid.
Do Not Use Them.
DO NOT purchase any flooring…
DO NOT purchase any flooring manufactured by these, terrible quality and even worse after care service will think of any reason under the sun why it is not the products fault , having read online looks like it is the same for every one else, our camero loc flooring has come apart over 30 times but these guys will find a loop hole some where , typical example of a big company who turns over millions taking advantage of people and not having a care in the world.
Avoid
Avoid. Mine looked nice for a short time. Colour started to fade pretty quick. Didn’t notice too much as it was a light shade anyway. However sections started to turn green! Floor original colour beige. Complained to supplier who passed onto Polyfloor. Inspector from PF visited. Talked waffle about cleaning product, green bits being by the window? Blah blah. Took ages to get a report back. Everyone passing it back and forth. Covid used as an excuse. My time spent chasing. End result you guessed it..... natural fading because the green tiles are by a window. Green? They didn’t know why it turned green but still not their products issue. The10 year guarantee is dishonest. My complaint within this time. So don’t use Camero / polyfloor if it’s going by A glass Window or door. It’s for a room with no light! I’m. Moving home so didn’t follow up but lesson learned not all expensive flooring is ‘quality’.
Avoid this product at all costs
Avoid this product at all costs. After 3 years, its falling apart. Polyflor is blaming the fitting. It was fitted by someone that has 20yrs flooring experience. I now have to buy new flooring.
Terrible quality Camaro loc product
Terrible quality Camaro loc product. Lifts along the short edge and according to two recommended installers this stuff is a nightmare to fit (and you can tell). We chose it after seeing some at a friends house; however theirs has also started lifting.
Most frustrating is the fact that they do it return your calls. I’m looking at you Mr Camero Loc Product Manager.
Polyflor’s Camaro Loc floor looked…
Polyflor’s Camaro Loc floor looked amazing, and suited where we wanted to use it, in a Bathroom. But beware, it won’t last long!! After just a year our floor has split all along the locking joints, and Polyflor’s customer service is just as bad as their flooring! Buyers beware and research the flooring forums before you waste hundreds like us. 😫
