Great service
Great service from start to finish. Fast delivery and goods were all intact. The delivery box was a little battered but all the contents were fine luckily. The guy delivering was carrying 25kg under his arm so to be expected. I was kept informed of the order from ordering to the final delivery. Top notch service. Thank you 😊

I order from them regularly - they’re my main supplier for glazes, kiln furniture and odds and ends. It’s always really easy. Delivery is pretty quick, and everything’s packaged well. I don’t recall ever having anything come broken or missing. The few times I’ve spoken to customer service they’ve been helpful and nice.

Potclays was a pleasant experience
Potclays was extremely helpful and very serviceminded, when I (living in Norway) ordered tools for my lovely English daughter-in-law for her birthday, to pick up in the store.
Both a card and wrapping was supplied.
And I was very pleased with their fast response and positive feedback.

Sarah in Customer Service is always helpful & as they have most spares in stock, they are dispatched quickly (24hrs yesterday!!)

I'd just thought i'd spend a minute to say that the customer service at Potclays was sincerely wonderful. There was a slight error with one of my glazes that i bought, and the wrong one was sent in error. I contacted Potclays and Sarah S. immediately sent me the correct product - absolutely no hassle or fuss - she simply sorted everything in minutes. In addition, the speed of dealing with the issue was amazingly fast with the replacement glaze being delivered to me in hours (honest - that fast!). In a world in which almost every digital interaction is a pain for me, Potclays and more specifically Sarah restored my faith in online shopping and wider customer service experiences!! Prices and stock are good but delivery…
Prices and stock are good but delivery times for in stock items can be painfully slow. Takes ages for them to dispatch orders so if you want something within a week then dont bother even if its in stock. Bought from them around 6x now and it's consistently like this but luckily I rarely need stuff in a rush. Feel like they need another staff member just handling dispatching if they keep saying high demand is the cause.

Hi Ben, thanks for your feedback. It is very much appreciated and will be discussed with the team here at Potclays. We are as transparent as we can be regarding order turnaround times. For quite some time, these have been up to 7 working days for parcels and up to 10 for pallets (worst case of course, we have been turning orders around more quickly where possible). There is a banner at the top of every page on our website, and a link in our order confirmations to a page on our website we keep regularly updated. We already have 10 staff in our warehouse, and they are all working side by side at full capacity prepping, packing and despatching. We send out hundreds of parcels a day, and tens of pallets. We wish the solution was as simple as adding another member of staff! Potclays is a relatively small family-run business, and we really do feel the pressure when it comes to trying to keep up on lead-times with other companies who carry half the stock (or less) that we do. Our Stoke-on-Trent site is home to many thousands of ceramic products. Whilst our lead-times may be longer than we would like them to be during our busiest time of the year, our quality and customer service is something our customers can always count on. Our best advice to our customers is to place their orders with plenty of time, but we do appreciate this is not always possible. It sounds like you are already planning well ahead with your ordering, so thank you for that.
