I can’t thank Precise Mortgages enough. With an older CCJ on my record, I expected the worst, but they took a sensible approach and still accepted us. The rate was higher than high street options but nowhere near as high as other specialist lenders. The offer came back fast, and when we requested the funds, they released them quickly with no hassle. Truly impressed with their fairness, speed, and communication. Highly recommended.

At the end of the day a mortgage approval is always good and they did this, so thats a plus.

However I don't like the fact they wont speak to you as a person, Precise will only speak to the Mortgage broker or the solicitor!

Our mortgage broker went insolvent around 3 days after securing the mortgage so that left us with just the solicitor to speak on our behalf.

We already had a solicitor that we were using to sell our home, we were not allowed to use them despite being in business for over 50 years as they were not on Precise's "approved panel of solicitors"

The solicitor that we ended up selecting (purely based on closest location to us) were awful how they are "approved" I will never know!

so you try to ring precise to sort an issue yourself, to be told, sorry we will only speak to your solicitor or broker!

Also there is no customer facing portal/app to keep on track.

There is one for brokers/solicitors so.

Lets say if i knew this at the beginning i would have requested another company.

The smooth process. Quick response. Reasonable rates.

Contacted us straight away and understood exactly what we needed. Very simple process. Finance was arranged and completed on time and with no issues.

Got mortgage agreed told would be moving in within 12/14 weeks got excited as its our dream house, dream location paid out £600 for this property with fees. To then have a survey done and then be refused by precise mortgages due to a small substation near the property to now being left in limbo and may loose everything.

Really recommend getting a mortgage with precise. We got an offer within a week or so. Asked for a few extra documents but the whole process was straight forward. Happy customer!

They took their £99 process fee then said no to my mortgage what a rip off

I had to call to request an up to date statement from them, the answered my call after being on hold for less than a minute, little short of a miracle these days. Polite and helpful lady called Sharon I think (apologies if I misheard), excellent.
