I went to a store on Tottenham Court Road to look for my cookware, the staffs really helped me choose the best items for my needs.
I got some discounts by buying pots and pans in bundles (you can build your own bundle if you visit the store!) but I realized I forgot to get the lid for one of my frying pans and they helped me get the discount as I bought them together with the rest without showing even a bit of annoyance though I blocked the register. Great hospitality, I really appreciate their help. I'd definitely go back and buy more.
The pots and pans are also great, absolutely love the quality, it's worth the price, and if you can I recommend to go see in store so that you get the perfect sets for your needs!!

I bought a frying pan couple of days…
I bought a frying pan couple of days ago , and after second use the color change like I have it for ages and when I went to the store they told us its because of the high heat so no guarantee for that but at least they should tell us that this product doesn't bear the high heat so we can avoid the damage

Not allowed to check the blade
I went to the store to buy kitchen knives. The assistants were helpful and whilst they would let me hold the knives by the handle, they would not let me touch the blades (company policy) which was the reason I made the effort to visit the store in the first place - a two hour round trip on public transport. The knives are not cheap and for me and, I suspect, many other people, the feel and quality of the blade are the most important factors. I want to know if they are likely to hold an edge. Whilst I understand that there may be some safety concerns, I am nearly 70 and I don't think I look like (or am) a threat. In the event, I bought two knives on the basis that I could take them home and try them and if they were unsuitable I could bring them back. They turned out OK but if that hadn't been the case, it would have meant another two hour round trip. Surely there is room for some flexibility and discretion.
