Staff were very helpful, friendly and informative.

As you can see from the receipts, I bought a potato peeler because the shop assistant suggested that I buy two more items in addition, to get three items for £10.

But the potato peeler I bought didn’t work when I tried to use it. So l took it back and explained. The shop assistant said he would test it. He came out of the office and said he’d test it and it did work. I asked him to show me, he took out a potato and proceeded to demonstrate with another customer in the queue behind me watching how he could peel the potato with the hopeless peeler. I said we can all see that it only scraped the potato and did not peel, and how difficult it was to use it. He was very unsympathetic, and said that you pay for what you get, as it was a cheap one, so it wouldn’t have worked like an expensive one with a better blade. The customer in the queue behind me stepped in, and said he knew exactly what I meant - after he’d binned his cheap but brilliant one by mistake, he bought an expensive one, but it just didn’t work. So he came back to a local shop in Gold Hawk Road and has just bought another the same cheap peeler he had before for £2.50, which works a treat, and he immediately showed me the one he’s just bought. and gave me the address and name of the shop and suggested that I go there instead. I explained to your shop assistant that I had already bought one from Waitrose, so may I have a refund because the product didn’t work. He said because I had used it, I couldn’t return it and could only buy a more expensive one instead. I further reiterated that I came all the way back to the shopping in such hot weather not for the few pounds, but to give them feedback of a poor quality product. Under duress, I had to buy another expensive one in your shop. But I shall never go back to your shop again, or recommend it to anyone.
PS: my first two purchases from the shop, both assists asked me to put in my email address for receiving the receipts. My third and last purchase, they didn’t ask me to put in the email for the receipt and a record. At the last purchase, I asked to have my email put in which I did, but he told me it may not work.

This last purchase was at Westfield Shepherds Bush, on 17 July, I think, you can check my receipt. The date below on your form, 12 July,is wrong, but l can’t seem to be able to change it.

The staff were helpful and friendly. They brought me right to what I needed. It was a kitchen knife so they had to check ID, but it was not a big deal. The product seems good, especially given the price was not too high.

We got good advice on a set of frying pans, lady in the store, if I'm correct Donna she gave a lot information about the set and made our decision easy to buy them, thank you donna once more for making my wife happy to buy them.
