Great ordering process and excellent communication from start to finish.

Carl delivered my garden den and was fantastic at keeping me updated on his location and estimated delivery time. He was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to meet.

Unfortunately, one of the windows arrived damaged, and although Carl reported the issue on the day of delivery, I did need to follow up to get an update. Aside from that, the overall experience was very positive.

we ordered a summer house, everything seemed fine, a delivery date was emailed to us stating 12/6/26 also stated on the email that someone would be in contact to inform us of a time for delivery. No one contacted us, so we made about 6 phone calls on the 12th and got no where with the staff, no information untill i asked for a manager. After me asking to speak with a manager, they then rang my partner and said it wasn’t delivered because it wasn’t ready. absolutely disgusting customer service, no communication. I had taken a day off work to take delivery of this which was unpaid. spoke with manager regarding compensation, they don’t offer it, just like they don’t offer customer communication. stay away from this company !!

Our charity refused a delivery on 8 May due to late arrival and no dispatch notification. Since then, we have contacted the company several times, requesting the refund we are legally entitled to. We have received no reply at all, and no refund has been processed.

The complete lack of communication has been very concerning. We expect suppliers to act in accordance with consumer law and to respond when issues arise. Unfortunately, that has not been the case here.

We will update this review if the refund is finally issued. The 2 stars are for the wooden structure, which appears to be of good quality.

UPDATE - the refund was received on the 19th of June.

Great service from Carl! Unpacked onto property smoothly. Appears everything is here and i’m sure the assembly will be as seemless as Carl’s delivery!! - gulp lol. Looking forward to getting stuck in!!

Carl delivered our shed today he is a very kind and caring man, he was brilliant with my little girl who was being a bit of a pest as he was unloading. Just a kind and genuine person. Such an asset to you as a worker.

Didn’t arrive on the day booked, only rescheduled after the time it was due to arrive. Driver was friendly and unloaded to the drive. I noticed a piece of loose wood, handed to driver, he shrugged and chucked it on the van. Only when I moved the panels to the back garden I notice a chunk missing from one of the gable ends. Also none of the windows were properly beaded most beads were loose and flapping. I repaired the damaged panel at my expense, noticed several bits missing from the delivery, no bolts supplied, twist locks 2 instead of 3. Handles shocking quality. I mailed all the points to customer services, I had one reply saying he would log it. Nothing since and 3 subsequent emails ignored. Shocking customer service. Avoid buying.

Adam the delivery driver was wonderful very efficient and very helpful on putting it on the drive , however only after we started to pull everything through that we have discovered that all parts have not been left, we have no building kit at all , no fixtures fittings etc , no hinges to the door or for the windows , no screws or nails nothing at all no metal fixings , it is also not lining up and looks like we have been sent panels that are not the right size as well as the gable ends that are all wrong and now we cannot reach them will keep trying as we at the moment are not satisfied !

Delivery man Craig was great! Polite, professional and very knowledgeable. We checked the items as best we could as it was raining cats & dogs. Thank you Craig 🙏.

Delivery very good shed not the best quality but adequate for the money, assembly instructions terrible lack detail and the correct information! On assembly there was not enough screws supplied to fit the door bolts and two door hinges missing, a lot of the finish trim supplied was distorted and a nightmare to fit, made several attempts at contact through the chatbot and the care line, 2 weeks later still waiting for a response, I struggle to recommend this company based on the terrible customer service

Avoid Project Timber.
We purchased three sheds from this company and the entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Months later, we are still waiting for all of the parts required to complete the sheds. Every time we have tried to get answers, we have been met with delays, excuses, and now complete silence.
The way we have been treated as paying customers is completely unacceptable. Once they had our money, customer service seemed to disappear. Emails are now being ignored, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, we are no closer to receiving the missing parts we paid for.
We spent a significant amount of money with Project Timber and expected a basic level of professionalism, communication, and after-sales support. Instead, we have been left chasing them for updates and struggling to get any response at all.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other customers should be aware of our experience. If you are considering purchasing from Project Timber, I would strongly recommend thinking twice. The products are only part of what you're buying – customer service matters too, and in our experience, it has been absolutely dreadful.

Do not have anything at all to do with this company. We have had a really bad experience with them and it was only when we clawed back our money that we had a phone call from somebody in the company. Our sad tale of dealing with these people goes like this:

We ordered a large flatpacked workshop from them as my husband has a woodturning business and it was essential that he has a good space to work from. Our builders laid the foundations and built the walls and the shell of the workshop until…… They came to the roof. The roof panels were too small and obviously not made for this shed. We contacted the company on many occasions, receiving promises of a courier bringing down the rest of the shed from Nottinghamshire. On at least two occasions we waited in at home and nothing arrived. We called them repeatedly, sometimes 3 times a day with no response. We were lied to which made us very angry and it was extremely distressing. In the meantime we had some pretty bad weather and the shed was flapping around with no roof. All our tools and equipment were outside as we had nowhere to store them. We expected the whole process to take at most two weeks. Here we are two months later and eventually we have a roof made by our own carpenter because Project Timber were unable to provide a roof for their own shed. They paid for our carpenter and got their money back but it has cost us, including two months lost work. We have never experienced such appalling customer service and to add insult to injury the shed is flimsy and badly made so we have had to strengthen it by adding vertical and horizontal struts. You could see daylight between the wall panels so it is not waterproof. We have had to rectify that ourselves. Finally the metal brackets were not fit for purpose so we bought some separately. An absolute disgrace in every respect.

Good service, friendly and very helpful

Delivery man, Craig, was excellent - extremely helpful. Independently moved the whole delivery into the back garden, despite miscommunication over delivery date, which was very much appreciated.
He was professional and pleasant throughout.
