I can echo recent comments. Pure have withdrawn the internet radio functionality of earlier radio sets including earlier Evoke and the iconic and well-reviewed "Sensia 200D". These sets were not cheap, costing between £200-£300 and sold in outlets like John Lewis as a bit of high end kit.

Before cut-off date I queried the logic of this decision but got no reply from either their CEO or support.

The decision was relayed via their website which would have been missed by many who would then wonder why they couldn't tune in to internet radio. (I am not aware they contacted registered owners).

Cynically I think they waited until the six year consumer "window" for faulty goods had lapsed in 2022 given that the last of these sets may have been sold in 2016. Essentially the sets are not fit for purpose.

Compare to the contemporary iMac which six years on is still going strong with 4K, bluetooth enabled etc.

Some earlier PURE sets never had bluetooth so you can't even stream from a phone. But more important you are not able to manually enter a radio station IP address (if known) as with other internet radio sets. This would over-ride their now retired Flow platform.

Given the sets lacked this basic back-up function, the removal of the functionality that would have steered the original buying decision, and the non-existent communication (which is reflected in earlier reviews as a recurring issue) I would never choose this brand again. They offered 30% discount against a new set in compensation and a withering:
"We apologize for any inconveniences caused and thank you for your understanding."

Whilst that discount would knock £50 off an equivalent set it doesn't really compensate because in the example of my Sensia it has a unique design aesthetic and was bought on that basis. With better technical design It should still be fully functional in 2023.

I would therefore also query this brand's reliability and technical performance as indicated in other reviews.

We have an pure internet Radio and we paid £££££s for it and now we cant use it because pure have turned off the internet signal working side of the radio off

Pure have today terminated the internet radio support via their Lounge facility. This renders our two Avanti Flow radios redundant. These cost £250 each and required over £100 in repairs recently. They offered 30% discount or £30 voucher towards one of their other products. I didn't bother accepting the offer, preferring to spend money on products from a responsible manufacturer.

Purchased a Pure Radio via a Boom Radio advertisement and paid £249 plus about £50 for a battery adaptor, this was about 6 weeks ago I have a tracking number which comes up in a yellow triangle delayed, so in limbo must admit I trusted Boom Radio as it was on their web site, so all I can do is warn others. Tosh.

you cannot get any help from them. you fill in a contact form but it will not send, just says I input the wrong letters when asking me to copy the letters to prove I'm not a robot. Really bad service. They are cutting off the internet to my pure one flow radio as they no longer support it and now I will be without my internet radio. do not buy any product from this firm. total con merchants.

My internet radio will stop working soon and Pure don't seem to care - this was a very expensive radio and still works but is now useless as we have a very poor DAB signal

Had a Pure radio which went wrong after around 2 years, without seeing it they said that it couldn’t be repaired but offered 30% off of another product so I opted for the DisCovR smart speaker. Just under 2 years later it stopped working and surprise, surprise they don’t offer a repair service or even a diagnostic check but they’ll give me 30% off another product again! Once bitten and all that.
Rubbish products with built in obsolescence
I know we live in a throw away society now, but if I pay £100 for something I expect it to last more than 2 years.All they want is your money with no after service. Never buy Pure products

4 PURE radios in our house, but there won't be any more. One star because I can't give none. Non-arrival of ChargePAK B1. Pure say shipped, UPS say not. I'm piggy in the middle. Emails sent, no response, No phone number for ( no ) Customer Support. Not happy about it. They took my money quick enough . .

I have in total five pure radios the main problem is the display fails completely goes very dim and you cannot reset it I would advise you not to purchase their radios in the future as the quality has failed quite significantly

Bought an Evoke F3 less than a year ago as we don’t get very good DAB signal and wanted to use it for internet radio. Recently started getting messages on BBC stations that we’ll no longer be able to receive BBC streams using internet radio and to contact our radio manufacturer. After contacting Pure they told us there’s nothing they can do to help despite the radio being able to receiver software updates.

Don’t buy one unless you fancy getting a new one every year.

Don’t buy a Pure radio. The batteries are ridiculously expensive, difficult to navigate. And within three years the case becomes a horrible sticky mess. Don’t know what they cover them in, but absolutely useless for longevity. Ours has been dumped in favour of a nice Roberts. One hundred times better.

I have had six Pure radios over time. Only the first Evoke 2 still works fully. The display on Evoke D4 died and I managed to get a replacement D4 under warranty. Display has now failed on the replacement. Pure build quality really is crap. They are heavy and make good door stops.

I logged a problem with with Pure support about my Evoke Flow not supporting BBC streams, but they haven't got back to me. Not even to say it's too old and to get a new radio.
Of course there's no phone number on the web site to find out what's happening either.

Same as most every other BAD review in here..the display WILL fail the faux leather body/handle cover WILL fall to bits & shed like a malting dog.
PURE should rebrand as Amstrad.
THROW IT IN THE BIN.

Bought a Pure Evoke Mio a while back - nice retro leather finish - but one which has deteriorated over the years -the (fake) leather finish has gradually peeled away, coming off on your fingers every time you touch it and leaving a sticky residue - and now the leather cover to the handle has come off too - the sound is good but the overall customer experience of carrying a sticky radio around that looks like it has spent too long in the sun isn't great - come on Pure, you can do betting in showing us that your products are for the long term

I have a Pure one classic series 2 and can't upgrade via the radio so contacted pure support and raised a ticket as my serial number is illegible and they advise contacting them in this instance.

I've been totally ignored so I've basically bought their DAB radio that can't access all stations and is therefore not fit for purpose.

Needless to say, I have to now buy a new radio capable of doing what it was designed to do and will be steering well clear of pure.com products.

Very disappointing service from Pure. Communication non existent. Very poor for a reputable company.
My clock radio seems fine despite the following issues. The radio was packed in a small box which was placed in a large cardboard box with no other packing so rattling around. The courier left the package on the doorstep during a storm - no attempt made to ring doorbell or knock on the door (I was at home at the time) I found the parcel hours later in the pouring rain. The cardboard box had almost completely disintegrated in the rain and was squishy and dripping wet. I have contacted Pure but had no response at all. This is totally unacceptable.

Ho provato a ricercare il guasto con un tecnico e pensiamo sia il display da cambiare richiesto il ricambio ma nessuna risposta .
Informo gli eventuali acquirenti di cosa succede se dovesse guastarsi fuori garanzia
Buttate via tutto anche se il guasto e di lieve entità come nel mio caso.
Mi è stato proposto un irrisorio sconto su acquisto di un nuovo prodotto cosa che non farò assolutamente !!!!
Fate molta attenzione ad acquistare prodotti di questa azienda questo è quello che vi aspetta in caso di problemi !!!!!!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would.Quality, longevity and customer service are the antithesis of what they are.Why make a product with a finish that disintegrates and a display that fails.Not a cheap product.Avoid at all costs
