We spent considerable time planning our itinerary for our holiday in Brazil as we wanted to visit various sites but also wanted to maximise our chance of encountering jaguars in the wild. Debbie identified an excellent location for this and we saw several Jaguar as well as giant river otters, tapir and anaconda. The whole trip went incredibly smoothly and we were well looked after throughout.

We had the most wonderful trip to Madagascar with Rainbow Tours in conjunction with Za tours in Madagascar. Derek organised everything perfectly and was an extremely patient listener to all our requirements and worries beforehand !
The whole trip from start to finish was organised seamlessly from the drivers to the guides and all our dietary requirements etc ! Our guide Njiva who picked us up from the airport and who accompanied us to the Mantadia region could not have been more helpful and willing. He was full of wonderful tales and stories of all the traditions and ways of the Madagascan people which was fascinating. Our " tracker " Maurice was incredible and a true professional.
The pick ups and 5 different drives we did went very smoothly and the drivers always felt very safe and took no risks. Despite what you might hear the roads in Madagascar are now incredible and it is very easy to get from a to b.
Our flight to the North went without any delays and we loved the contrast . The staff at Nature Lodge & Ankarana Lodge were so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The highlight of the holiday was Eden Lodge which was incredible . Each and every one of the staff did their utmost to make our stay perfect and it was ! The setting is sublime and the food here is second to none , we had the best breakfasts ever ! Our stay at 293 Komba was also perfect with the lovely Danielle and we loved our trips to the village.
Derek listened and organised the perfect trip with the right balance of adventure, trekking, car journeys , beach , culture and relaxation.

We have just returned from a fabulous primate-trekking trip which far exceeded all our expectations. Our travel consultant Craig at Rainbow tours in the UK worked tirelessly in conjunction with Nkuringo Safaris to put together an amazing itinerary for us, taking in both Rwanda and Uganda. The organisation was impeccable especially given all the last minute changes due to the Middle East Crisis and Ebola. We felt we were in a safe pair of hands. The Ebola crisis in Uganda did not affect us at all and we were so glad we didn't cancel this part of our trip. Uganda is a wonderful country, not to be missed. The lodges were great with Five Volcanoes in Rwanda and Gorilla Leisure Lodge in Uganda providing an outstanding level of customer service. The staff could not do enough for you without being intrusive which we really appreciated. Our favourite gorilla treks were Mgahinga in Uganda and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Seeing gorillas in the wild created memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thanks to you all for an amazing trip, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking to book a trip of a lifetime.

Malawi is a stunning safari spot. All the camps & lodges we stayed in run by Robin Pope Safaris were wonderfully run & in exquisite sites. The wildlife seen was mega - lions, giraffe, cheetah, hippos, elephants - plus brilliant birdlife as well. The only downside were the long arduous road trips to reach them…but then if it was easy everybody would be there! And the costs for this much less than Botswana. Will remember the people & places in Malawi forever. Thanks, Rainbow Tours, for fixing it all perfectly for us…

Previously went on safari two years ago and didn’t think we would do it again. So glad we did Craig arranged another brilliant trip. Can’t recommend Rainbow enough also the team on the ground are marvellous everything runs like clockwork. I left my reading glasses at the first camp and Craig arranged for them to be sent to the airport so I could pick them up on route to next destination! Needless to say we are now hooked on the safari experience and will be going again!

amazing coordination from rainbow , exceptional organisation of visit to national parks cars drivers hotels , walking in forests with expert guides on animals and all trees , very knowledgeable using kind interested local guides ,each placing their own ideas on Limurs and flora /fauna .a brilliant trip. forest where so fabulous and unspoiled, lush , green and the cloud forest beautiful .

Rainbow Tours organised a driving two week tour of north Chile. The itinerary was well thought out and included spectacular landscapes and places, all the bookings were honoured, some of the hotels were spectacular, and the staff we dealt with -at Rainbow Tours during the booking, and at the different hotels during the trip- was always courteous and friendly. Overall we had a lovely trip.
Some requests like "extra leg room" during the long flights were not dealt with as we would have wished and one of the hotels was not up to standard but, having said that, we would not hesitate to repeat this trip or use Rainbow Tours again.

We got stuck in Vancouver after our Qantas flight was cancelled. We had to get home because our daughter was having a baby! The team at Rainbow travel went above and beyond to help us!! They were just fantastic!! So helpful and understanding!

Poor after sales service. They take your money and no post travel contact. Expensive holiday, but just another transaction to them. Will I use them again, unlikely. There are lots of travel agents to choose from

My 14 year old granddaughter and I have recently returned from the most amazing safari in Botswana. Craig at Rainbow Tours was supremely helpful - I wanted to make sure Poppy had a brilliant time! Well we saw 18 different species - so many elephants, wild dogs in two packs (which are rare), giraffes, the big 5, and with babies - zebras, water buck, elephants, giraffe, wart hog, lions, and on our last game drive (we had 13) a half hour long experience right next to 6 baby hyenas with their mother coming out of their hole and playing together! Unbelievable! Our guide Mbabe of Letaka Safaris was so knowledgeable and told us so much background information - it made it even more special. We were in the Moremi and Svetti regions which gave us so many wonderful sitings.The two camps - just for us were excellent, great walk-in tents with en-suite, the 5 staff couldn’t have done more for us. Their wonderful home cooked meals were so welcome from their on site oven. We had home made bread, biscuits and cakes every day - and even a chocolate birthday cake with candles for me!
Full marks to Craig for his patience with our booking and for Mbabe and his team in Botswana - a never to be forgotten experience for us both. Thank you.

We have just returned from an amazing visit to Madagascar. It wasn't cheap, but was exceptionally well-organised by Rainbow, from flights to transfers to internal travel to where we went and with some truly great hotels.

This was our second private tour by Rainbow (having previously been to Brazil). Our remit to Kerry was a trip around Peru doing lots of activities (not just getting in and out of a car). So we saw this beautiful country from horse-back, white water rafting, hiking, rock climbing, zip lining, by boat and small aircraft.
We had a fabulous time and the local agent did a sterling job in sorting out all our pickups and arranging guides/drivers, all of which were on time and well done.
I will be back to use Rainbow again when off on our next wildlife or adventure holiday.
