Online Auction Live TV Auction Rasmus
This was my second time attending the Rasmus Live TV Auction, and they are already five shows in!
The auction is thorough, well-organized, and nicely paced. Eric does a great job explaining everything in detail—from the item itself to when and where you can pick up your winning items. BidCloud is also very easy to navigate, which makes participating in the live TV auction simple and convenient.
What I really appreciate is that it’s family-run, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. Picking up your items is super easy, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Antonio runs this, does a great job! Whether you win something small, like a screen protector through the online auction, or something much larger, like a refrigerator through the live auction, they’re there to help load your items into your vehicle.
Overall, it’s a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend!

The text/email notifications are significantly worse than before. The bid feature doesn't allow for adjustments to the max bid.

I have been a Rasmus buyer for years with estate sales, liquidations, and now live. Great prices, willing to work issues, and now a good time during the show. Three things to work on; 1) bandwidth was saturated causing blurred visuals with cameras and bidding responses, 2) lighting would help while on the dock vs showroom, 3) lastly, backhoe (especially if you are selling small ones) is not a dirty word and I got two warnings 🤣😂🤣 that would be nice if these were cleared...

"Extremely disappointed with Rasmus Auctions (Laurel location). Purchased a coffee maker that doesn't work at all and a patio umbrella that is broken and missing parts. Even after paying a 20% buyer's premium plus taxes, their customer service refused to assist or offer any refund simply because I was out of town and reported it past their 48-hour window. Terrible customer service and zero quality control on advertised items."

Because auction items are sold on behalf of individual sellers and pickups occur on specific schedules, any issues must be reported within the stated return period so our team has an opportunity to address them. Unfortunately, this issue was reported after that period had passed. We understand that being out of town made that difficult and appreciate you sharing your experience.

Disappointed
Bought the Aron Living solid wood coffee table (Lot 239). Listing and photos showed no damage and it was sold boxed, so inspection wasn’t possible until I got home. One leg was broken. Seller offered a full refund only if I returned it, which required a 4-hour round trip. No partial refund option. Table otherwise looks nice and was a good price, but the undisclosed damage and difficult return made the experience frustrating.

I have been a loyal bidder for years BUT...
I have been a loyal bidder for years at Rasmus. I've had broken and inaccurate items a handful of times but I was able to be refunded after jumping through a few small hoops. The pickup staff even know me by name.
HOWEVER, all that changed when I went to pick up my item at the Laurel location back in June. There was no Rasmus representative on-site so the warehouse guys were checking people in. Turns out the item I had purchased was NOT a complete set of caster wheels as described. When I told the guy he said since there was no Rasmus person and they were already backed up at 10am they'd have to issue the refund later and I should just leave it with him. Well, no refund was ever received so I disputed the charge and my Rasmus account was suspended. Didn't realize it was in the terms until I contacted support (which is slow and only through text message). The terms say "indefinite" but what they actually means is "in perpetuity." They said they will not reinstate my account over $8 when I have been bidding for years and over 2K spent all because a staff person was either late or a no-show at the auction pick-up.

Rasmus auctions is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with when it comes to online auctions from the staff extra friendly to customer service if you need a refund because something’s wrong they’re happy to stand behind it and give you a refund when requested providing that it makes sense. They will never leave your stand alone. If you purchase something that doesn’t quite add up to the description and the offering, they will see to it as you’re fully refunded. You will not find out every auction site you go to you gotta fight with them to get your money back with Rasmus Auction that doesn’t happen no arguments. Just bring the product back and you’ll get your full refund. That goes a long way with me.
