Rapid response and good choice of removers
I got the link for reallymoving.com from the Rightmove page, having done a Google search for removal companies. No sooner had I filled in my requirements than my phone and email were red hot with responses, messages and call backs. It felt a bit pressured at the time, but all the responding companies were very helpful and over a few days I had five in person surveys done and full written quotes provided, so I was able to make an informed choice of remover.

Prepare to feel very popular
Got four quotes instantly and then the utter onslaught of phone calls and emails began. Aggressive doesn't even begin to describe it. I will accept responsibility for not understanding how this worked in advance - I thought it would be more like Compare the Market or even Shiply - but the regret for ever sending my info through is real and I will not use any of the companies on principle. I feel like I accidentally fed a pigeon in Trafalgar Square.

Avoid - you will get spammed by movers!
Do not use Reallymoving - you will be relentlessly spammed.
I originally sought a quote on removal insurance (not a mover) through Reallymoving, which the website appeared to support. When I entered my details I had no idea I would be spammed relentlessly (literally, every 15 minutes) by removalist companies trying to sell me a moving quote (not insurance, as intended) - this was by email, phone and whatsapp over the course of 3 hours.
Reallymoving don't explain that your details will be shared, or that you will be contacted so aggressively by 3rd parties. All movers that contacted me disclaimed any responsibility and several even said they would continue contacting me until Reallymoving updated their records. I have officially complained to Reallymoving and put them on notice I will be making a complaint to the ICO. I have had no response - avoid this site!

Lots of calls
I do appreciate that the website said you will receive calls, but you have to provide your phone number BEFORE you are provided with a list of removal company details.
I hadn’t heard of a single company that was provided on the list and I received calls almost immediately, which didn’t give me time to look into the details of the companies suggested. There is no way I would agree to a service from a company that I have never heard of without doing some research first (eg reviews and insurance etc).
I felt like I was being pressured into booking a video survey with some of these immediately and some of which only had a couple of reviews or not great reviews when I investigated further.
I really feel that there should be the facility to select which companies you wish your details passed to, not having to agree to pass your details on before knowing which companies they will be passed to.

Excessive phone calls
I submitted an enquiry and was immediately inundated with calls and emails from about 6 different companies, one of whom kept calling even when I said to stop. This made the process extremely stressful and I regret submitting details in the first place.

I used this website to find removals companies and I opted to contact one company directly after I received the quotes. Clearly my phone number was distributed to every company on the list because I spent the day after that fielding phone calls from other removals services and I found this annoying

Experienced Surveyor and insightful report but unacceptable customer service.
While the surveyor assigned to my case, John from Kelly Associates, was clearly experienced and produced a detailed and insightful report, the overall customer experience with Kelly Associates was extremely disappointing.
The survey was booked ten days after my request, despite an initial email stating it would take place within five days. Following the inspection, it took a further eight days to receive the report, contrary to the stated five-day turnaround, although bereavement was cited as the reason for the delay.
Although the administrator and the surveyor responded to the first email I sent after receiving the report, repeated attempts to discuss the findings with the surveyor by telephone were unsuccessful. The telephone number provided on the report was answered by someone who stated that John no longer worked there. Multiple efforts to contact the office administrator also went unanswered for several days. When a response was eventually received by email, I was informed that the office phones had been down due to a power cut; however, my request to speak with the surveyor was still not addressed.
Due to the lack of communication and my inability to obtain reassurance on significant ground stability concerns, I ultimately withdrew from purchasing the property. While the technical quality of the report was good, the customer service fell well below an acceptable standard.

None of solicitor company were competent or knowledgeable enough to take up property matter. I would never bother wasting my time calling them again.

Easy to use
Easy to use, nlegal onboarding was prompt and Wayne was really helpful and clear about what would happen next. Wayne called back when he said he would and worked late to ensure everything was in place to help after the need to change solicitor a short time from exchange and completion.
