I was a bit weary But i bit the bullet, asked for help at 11:44hrs & by 12,had 8 competitive replies, ranging from the slightly outrageous to the affordable. Each person answered by email and they were professional, polite, concise with no pushing for the job, and all i had to do was find one that could do it in my time frame. Great experience.

Wouldn't use again
Wouldn't use again. You get inundated with phone calls and emails, with no option to not have this happen. We had solicitor quotes for buying a house, the quote we received and was happy to go through with was £1590 and included a £150 file opening fee, which I was told is to be deducted from the quote. Then the solicitors sent us their quote which was £80 more than originally quoted and they said the £150 isn't deducted and is nothing to do with them. So what we thought was a cheap quote, was in fact not, as it was an extra £230. Go direct to local solicitors to get an actually accurate quote.

Whilst we try and make our quotations as accurate as possible, some matters can only be accurately quoted on a case-by-case basis after a direct conversation with the conveyancer. It is therefore not always possible for our system to take into consideration all aspects of your requirements at the stage of quotation, which can result in slight inaccuracy of quotes.
We are, however, checking in with our partners on a regular basis to ensure that the fees represented on our site are as up to date as possible, especially when we receive this feedback.

This was a simple and easy way to identify potential building surveyors as part of a house move. In one move I received a range of quotes and selected one from those offered. Very simple and easy to use. I’d recommend this service.

Instantly got a spread of conveyancers…
Instantly got a spread of conveyancers at various price levels from expensive as a solicitor to a Primark equivalent 🙂
Very informative and attractive like 'no sale no fee' enticement.
Like others have found however, I do get unsolicited follow up phone calls so I would suggest leaving a bogus phone number initially, or a number of someone you don't like 🙂 until you do your further research and then ready to make a selection.

Not a great deal of choice.
When we submitted the details it only produced 1 quote, but when I did my own search I was able to find several companies that provided the services I required. So not a very comprehensive choice from this company!

Just get spammed with calls
Just like the most recent review, got absolutely swamped with calls, all trying to “provide” me quotes, but for moving instead, received 6 calls in 2 minutes, literally all calling at the same time. So unnecessarily chaotic, just comes across as desperate, and frankly dodgy.
Really put me off from using this comparison. There is a difference between competitiveness, and just sheer chaos.

Annoying
Just wanted quotes, got endless calls from annoying solicitors who are just out to harass you in the hopes of making a quick buck. The services they offered weren't that good anyway. Waste of time.
