I rented with Romans once and never will again.

They were nice and helpful to get me moved in then when I moved out tried to scam me out of my deposit with made up cleaning fees.

They were rude when corresponding with me, and when I asked for the images from my flat to be sent so I could check the metadata on the images to make sure they were actually photographed after my tenancy I was ignored. Speaks for itself really.

I agreed to pay half of the fees and asked for a copy of the full receipt. All I was sent was a hand written note with my half of the fee, no evidence of the full fee being paid by them. Liars!

Holly has been very accommodating throughout our property search, although we did not manage to let a property through Romans I really liked how pro-active she was in keeping in touch while we searched and updating us on any new properties!

Just want to say a big thank you to Holly from romans. Very helpful went above and beyond. Would recommend

We needed to re-let a property and were considering other letting agents, as a result of a landlord contract issue, however, we were impressed with Mark Davidson, who turned it around with his responsiveness and professionalism. Mark then had viewings lined up, as soon as the property was ready and immediately secured a letting. Great work! With the arrival of the new tenants, the property manager, Jade Small, has done an excellent job in welcoming them to the property and supporting them. A highly professional letting agency in Swindon.

My experience with Romans has so far been limited to the initial stages of the renting process, so I cannot comment on how they manage the property throughout the tenancy.

Amanda, the letting agent, has been very helpful, professional — she arrived on time for the viewing, provided all the necessary information, and consistently responded to emails. The use of an automated platform like Goodlord helped streamline the paperwork and referencing process efficiently.

The lack of communication from the administration team after the referencing was completed, up until the finalisation of the tenancy agreement, is somewhat stressful and leaves room for improvement.

Overall, my impression has been positive so far.

Jade is an excellent property manager who is very proactive, professional and great communication skills. She always goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. We highly recommend her to anyone seeking reliable property management!

I have recently used, for the first time, Romans Swindon to market and let my flat. Lauren and Mia of Romans have been very proactive and knowlegable and have kept me fully informed throughout on progress. My flat was let quickly and for a realistic rent.
