I've been with Romans for 12 years and the team have looked after my property and tenants during this time with great care and consideration. I find the whole team a pleasure to work with and any issues are quickly resolved. Romans take a proactive approach looking after my property and I especially call out my property manager Jade who has recently helped me prepare my property for a new tenants. Jade sorted numerous issues for me ensuring I was kept updated and consulted along the way. Thanks to Jade and the team at Romans.

I am really impressed with the level of service and understanding of the property manager Jade at the Swindon office. I am a landlord and in my experience Jade has gone above and beyond to rectify issues in order to reduce the costs incurred as a landlord. She has personally been around to the property and has provide knowledge/instructions to the tenants, cleaned and has also taken away items in her car in order to take to the tip in her own time.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Jade Small from Romans swindon branch today. I must say I feel,today, that she was the right person to talk too. My concerns and issues was dealt with promptly and efficiently. She was able to listen and understand my concerns, solving the concern and putting my mind at ease. I found her relatable enabling me to express my circumstances. Today has been a positive experience thanks to all at Romans swindon and I particular Jade.

This is my first time renting a place in the UK so naturally there were a lot of confusions and questions from my side. The entire team at Romans has been very helpful throughout the process.

I have several properties in Swindon that I let via Romans. Naomi Hamilton is brilliant at looking after my account, she always replies promptly to any queries and nothing is too much trouble for her when it comes to arranging contractors etc when needed.

I have been with Romans in Swindon for the last year. I have found them to be helpful and quick to respond to any issues. A special shout out to Christine Lancaster who is full of knowledge, always efficient at solving any rental issues and approachable and friendly. I also recently had the pleasure of speaking with Naomi Hamilton who was incredibly helpful and knowledgable.

A big thanks to Naomi Hamilton for dealing with my repair issue in such a speedy manner - reported issue on Friday morning, the contractor contacted me on the same day, and the issue was fixed on Monday morning! Thank you for the good service!

Been with Romans Swindon for over a year now and I’ve had no issues with them, Christine Lancaster is really lovely and helpful and gets any queries taken care of rather swiftly. I had an issue with my boiler and submitted a fault report, Christine called me back, after taking a few details Gasworks resolved the issue the very next day, really happy about that.

A professional and dedicated team especially Christine who has been very helpful throughout our tenure. We have been in this property since 2019 and without fail, she has demonstrated reliability and efficiency when in need especially issues on the unit. Exceptional people service!!!!

I rented a flat in Swindon at 15 Periwinkle Court ,flat 15 from the Romans in June 2022 to the end of May 2023.
I would like to point out that renting out the property was not a problem at all and everything went quite smoothly.
The first problem started in November when after long term rains, the floor in one bedroom started to smell rotten and one walls was covered with mold.
After calling the Romans ,manager Jade visited us and admitted there is a problem with the mold and assured us that everything will be sorted out by a specialist.
A week later a man from a construction/insulation company sent by the Romans after checking the room suggested to my wife that it would be better for us to start looking at another property
because it would be dangerous especially for kids to inhale it.
Since then we stopped using the bedroom.
From November to the end of May nothing was repaired and additionally in January water started leaking into the ceiling..
despite many emails and phone calls to Romans instead of helping with all issues we received rent increase by £100!!!!
When our children started coughing every night and myself we decided to leave the property and the end of our contract.

In May before we left:
Smell of damp and mold everywhere.
Rotten blinds and suitcases, leaking ceiling,our clothes in wardrobes covered in mold.
Everything done in one year of our tenancy.
Before we sent back the keys to the property we spent 8hours in the empty flat for all the cleaning.
Now,the Romans demand from me £404 for the after tenancy cost which for me is a joke!
The cost is for painting all the walls (all covered in mold ,new blinds covered in mold and rotten,and cleaning the whole carpet stink in damp and covered in mold.
so,no thanks,I won't pay a penny even though I offered £150 and it was rejected. Instead I prefer to present my case in court for destroying my belongings and poisoning my family.
I hope that for the new tenants somebody has properly done all the issues above as in the UK overpaint mold is illegal.

I can honestly say that the service we have received from Romans has been exceptional. Right from the initial viewing Katie made everything easy, she was on hand at every step of the way and the online application process was straight forward and user friendly. I would recommend Romans (and Katie) to anyone looking to rent a property in the Wiltshire area

My partner and I have recently moved in to a property with the help of Amanda from Romans and she couldn’t have made the process any easier for us. Unfortunately, there was a slight hiccup towards the end where Romans weren’t at fault, yet she swiftly sorted the issue for us. Any questions we had, she was there to answer straight away and there wasn’t a moment where we were left in the dark at all. Her frequent communication with us was so so helpful seeing as this was the first time we had moved out and she made it feel easy. If you’re going to rent through Romans, definitely ask for Amanda! I couldn’t recommend her enough!

The estate agent who was dealing with my rental property was Amanda. She was so helpful, always came back with a quick and positive answer and went above and beyond to keep everything ticking and moving things on smoothly. Highly recommend and a 10/10 experience.

I've been a private renter now with Romans for 8 years and it's been a stressless time throughout. On the odd occasions I've needed to report a repair, these have been dealt within a very reasonable time frame and to good standard. I absolutely love the property I reside in and I can't ask for a better Rental Agent who helped me from the very start of my journey to this point, if totally honest. Christine Lancaster too is always my port of call when needed and is totally professional as well as understanding. Long may this relationship continue long into the future too.
