Lors du circuit de la 1ère semaine (qui s'est plus ou moins bien déroulée) , notre guide n'a jamais voulu nous révéler le nom de l'hôtel de la plage! Nous avons très bien compris la raison !
Il ne faut quand même pas nous prendre pour des imbéciles ! RSD connaissait très bien l'endroit où il allait loger plus de 200 personnes , ça ne s'improvise pas 2 jours avant notre arrivée !
Evidemment, si nous avions eu connaissance de ce "Palace 5 ***** " à l'avance , nous n'aurions JAMAIS pris la formule ALL IN . ( regardez les commentaires sur cet hôtel !! )
"ALL IN des miséreux" comme je l'ai intitulé !! Je voyage depuis plus de 45 ans et à ce jour , JAMAIS je n'ai vu une nullité pareille !!
Vous trouvez normal de laisser poireauter plus de 2 h des personnes âgées derrière un comptoir pour l'enregistrement ? Pourquoi notre guide Mustafa n'a t-il pas fait le nécessaire comme dans les autres hôtels afin d'éviter tous ces énervements et ces tensions ? POURQUOI ??? et tout cela après une longue journée de transfert !!!!
Vous trouvez normal que le guide insiste tant pour que nous prenions tous la formule All IN, prétextant que ce serait bien plus avantageux que la 1/2 pension . Avec le All In , vous aurez tout ce que vous désirez !! Ah ah ah ah ah !! De plus , il disait que les ½ pensions risquaient d’être logés dans un autre hôtel de moindre catégorie !!! Vraiment de l’escroquerie !!!!!
Vous trouvez normal de réclamer une caution de 100 € pour d'éventuels dégâts ? JAMAIS VU !!!
Vous trouvez normal de devoir payer pour aller à la plage ??? En fait, cet hôtel n'a même pas de plage , il s'agit d'une plage municipale .
Vous trouvez normal de ne pas avoir accès au grand dôme où se déroulent les soirées d'animations parce que vous avez le ALL IN miséreux ? Là , grâce à une certaine rébellion des touristes , nous avons pu y accéder le lendemain tout en allant chercher de la pisse de boisson à l'unique bar réservé à RSD !
Vous trouvez normal d'avoir un seul buffet pour alimenter plusieurs centaines de personnes ? Buffet répétitif où en général la nourriture est tiédasse , voir froide . Des sodas qui puent soit la javel , soit le moisi !!! (nous pensons qu'il y a un fameux manque d'hygiène quant au nettoyage des machines !) Là aussi après de bonnes altercations avec les " responsables" du personnel , les sodas sont redevenus « presqu'à » la normale ! Presque !!! On nous prend vraiment pour de la m....
Aussi , il n’y a aucun prix affiché évidemment ! Vous demandez un jus d’orange frais à la piscine où évidemment c’est payant pour le All In miséreux ; un jour , vous payez 8 € et le lendemain , vous payez 6 € !! Vraiment à la tête du client !!!! On se moque de qui , là ? Et dire que votre forfait s’appelle « gastronomie », là , on est bien loin du compte .
Vous trouvez normal que la plupart des chambres soient moites voir humides, tout pue le moisi, la tapisserie qui se décolle , le tapis-plein sale , …. si bien que plusieurs personnes ont demandé de changer de chambre ! Certains ont partagé leur habitat avec des cafards et des poissons d’argent ! Ce qui prouve bien , un grand manque d’aération et d’hygiène dans ce PALACE !! Certains cafards ont même été aperçu au restaurant !!! BON APPETIT !

Troisième et dernier voyage avec eux !

I recently returned from an amazing holiday planned by RSD Travel, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Everything from the smooth booking process to the thoughtful itinerary was perfectly organised. Just been on a brilliant holiday and cultural tour of the Balkans with RSD travel. Iconic locations, great hotels, great coach and brilliant guide - Erdal. Would recommend RSD to all.

Great holiday, visited so many interesting places. Well planned and organised, would recommend this company. Only down side was visiting leather, jewellery and carpet shops

A very good price, superb itinerary and good travel times. This in my opinion is the best way to see China. Shanghai first, then the Warriors, then Beijing and the great wall. Fast train travel allows one to see the country which you cannot do by air.

My second trip with RSD. We went to The Balkans, everything worked like clockwork. 5 star experience for a minuscule of the price tag! I am already booking my next holiday with RSD

Apart from a bad start with a delay at Gatwick, meaning a late arrival in Skopje and at our first hotel, we had a really good time on this trip. At first I thought 4 countries in 7 days? Rush, rush, rush! But our wonderful guide and super-safe driver made this trip really memorable. Old towns, monasteries, castles, beautiful mountains, stunning coastlines, wow-factor modern architecture - lots of breaks , time to wander, good local guides - all making this, our first trip with RSD unlikely to be our last!

We have just returned from the trip to Cappadochia. Everything was extremely well organised and we saw some amazing places. Our guide was Özlem. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, she was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly.
Thank you so much Özlem for making our visit so memorable and enjoyable especially on the longer journeys. Our driver was very safe and smooth and the coach was kept clean. Although he couldn’t speak much English he also was friendly and helpful.Looking forward to our next trip with RSD

I would really recommend RSD Travel, we have done Cappadocia in Turkey, India and recently South Africa. The prices are very competitive and it’s just so lovely to have everything organised for you. We will definitely be using them again in the near future! ❤️

Well organised trip with a very good selection of sights and cultural experiences. Well worth the price paid.

The ‘Balkans’ tour was interesting and very good value for money. You spend a lot of time on a coach but the scenery was often lovely. Decent hotels and food.

RSD are a low cost travel company used by people of a certain age who usually have a number of grey hairs. They are also very interesting, have lived great lives and know how to enjoy life.
The tours are well thought through, the coaches are usually excellent, the hotels are interesting
with good rooms but the menus seem to be very much the same.
Their guides are usually well informed and helpful.
You will find it very difficult to be anything other than amused, curious, enjoying yourself, and happy!

Having just returned from the Balkans tour I can comment that the hotels were of mixed quality, the ‘gourmet dinners’ were questionable (but as the hotels were often in the middle of nowhere there was little alternative), the included visits to a jewellery supplier, a leather jacket shop and a rug store where our generally senior aged (and sometimes vulnerable) travellers were subjected to hard sales techniques to buy overpriced merchandise). The days were unnecessarily long where we left early and arrived after dark, too late to enjoy hotel facilities or explore the local area properly. The optional excursions were over priced and the Balkan night could have been so, so much better! We were unlucky with the charter airline they used who decided to upgrade the aircraft software just before our flight, delaying take off by over3 hours and then an additional stop at Manchester where passengers to Gatwick needed to disembark to go through customs), which was ‘fractuous’ especially with less able bodied people on the plane - one of whom got lost and was left behind at Manchester Airport when the plane took off for Gatwick! RSD is convenient when visiting an unknown area with knowledgeable guides. However, to me RSD will unfortunately be best remembered as Ripping off Senior citizens Daily. Hence my rating.

I visited places of great cultural interest that I would not have seen on my own. They were "off the beaten track" but definitely worth seeing.
The countryside of the four visited countries - three were part in former Yugoslavia and the fourth was Albania - was stunning with high mountains, deep lakes and beautiful coastline.

An amazing educational holiday with RSD to Cyprus from the 1 to 8th October. The hotels was great value for money with friendly, polite staff and very clean rooms. A variety of excellent breakfast and dinners . Fantastic excursions to Biblical and other places of interest, with an exceptional tour guide, who was full of knowledge, made the excursions relaxing, funny, provided water for everyone on every trip and made sure, everyone was safe at all .times.

We have been on 5 RSD trips and all have been excellent, well organised tours and great value. The last trip, a tour of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana was the best yet - 5 stars!

RSD holidays are well thought out.
They are a caring company and look after their customers.

This was my first trip with RSD Travel. I went with an open mind as it was so reasonably priced.
It didn’t get off to a great start, we had the fiasco of border control not allowing a foreign registered aircraft to fly passengers between Manchester and Gatwick. We had a three hour delay going out!! No information as to why this happened and absolute chaos.
The hotel on the first night was very poor. Plugs hanging off the walls and broken mirrors. The 2nd Hotel was more basic than an Ibis. The hotels improved as the days went on. Until the last night. The coach couldn’t park outside the hotel entrance; we had to drag our luggage across the busy street in the dark. Upon arrival the hotel had one lift taking two passengers at a time. We were crammed in the reception area like sardines. Absolute chaos. Not all the travellers are able to do this or should be expected to.
We paid for a gourmet buffet, it was very basic.
The days are very long 7.30am starts, there are long days on the coach. Very little time to relax when you are arriving at the next hotel after 5 pm.
The trips to the Jewellery warehouse and leather warehouse were ludicrous, very hard sell and nothing at all cultural. We were also taken to a carpet warehouse, again nothing to show that these were being made locally. All of these detours need to be taken out of the itinerary. The Balkan dance evening £35 was outrageous. Some youngsters dancing and singing (very poorly) and one of them looking at his watch !!
The trip to Kotor on a boat was very pleasant as were the beautiful monasteries and orthodox churches.
Montenegro is the star of the trip, the guide was good but had minimal local knowledge. The local guides were excellent.
I met some wonderful people on the trip. Would I use RSD again? Probably not.

Rsd trips are always a great way to see different countries with interesting and knowledgeable tour guides.
Pros:
- value for money
- safe and well organised
- see the different cultures of the countries
- wonderful tour guides

Cons:
- early starts on buses (not made at this as it allows for full days of sight seeing)
- not knowing hotels in advance
- food can be repetitive and you do really have to buy the package as not much around hotels
