got quote for non running van for scrap…
got quote for non running van for scrap on 06/10/26, next called and told quote would be less after the quote accepted,
Then called by 1st choice spares Accrington, told them was not running aswell.
told would be collected friday.
Today 1st choice car spares LTD of unit 9 Moorfield ind est, Altham BB55WE 01254386541 Ali came to collect but said it was running/driving...even though already said was going to be scrapped.
AT no point did I state the van was running or driving,?
1st choice were told on Tuesday when I put the quote in that clearly said NOT running.
Wasted my time and have to now pay to remove to get scaffolding up for leaking roof. which was the whole point of contacting you to get gone quickly.
Waste of time, better of just calling a local scrap yard as no convenience gained using you.
Very dissapointed. . .

Hi Daz,
We’re sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand why you’re frustrated, especially with work waiting on the van being cleared. Being told on the day that it was running, after you’d said it wasn’t, shouldn’t happen.
Please email customercare@scrapcarcomparison.co.uk with your full name, contact number and vehicle registration, along with the details of the quote and what you were told. We’ll look into it with the buyer directly.

Quick, easy and effective - James is the best
Quick and simple process - James Morrison called me within 15 minutes and had everything set up with a great attitude, really good customer service; he also managed to price match my other quotes which was the main reason I decided to use this service. Will use again if I ever need to scrap a car (hoping I don’t have to)
