Beware of Not as described penalty
I was asked specific questions , which i had answered accurately, on collection BMS salvage tried to deduct 100 £ for the wheels. No questions were asked about the wheels. Apparently the wheels were not as described for 14 year old car going to the scrap. I am selling for scrap.
Be aware of the not fitting description penalty.
They offer more to secure the deal but try to haggle after collection.
Andrew from scrap car was good ,but BMS salvage was unnecessary hassle.

Antwoord van Scrap Car Comparison
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re pleased Andrew was helpful. We’re sorry the buyer tried to reduce the price at collection over the wheels when you feel you had described the car accurately. We understand why that was frustrating.
Please email customercare@scrapcarcomparison.co.uk with your full name, contact number and vehicle registration, so we can look into what happened with the buyer.
Best wishes,
Scrap Car Comparison
