Sales Man Aj, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We did not intend to buy just browse and ended up purchases 2 shop floor sofas.

I was kept I formed of every stage of the planned delivery date and time by your team. The delivery crew rang me to inform me if their actual ETA on the day. They were polite and efficient.

The whole delivery process was seamless, efficient and not painful at all! No packaging to get rid of, came on time and kept communication up all the way to delivery. Two men set up my two sofas and placed them where I indicated. I couldn’t fault anything, hence 5 stars.😎

Very knowledgeable professional staff, good delivery time scale. Excellent product. Fitted sofa and tested within 15 mins, gave delivery timescale then phone call to give exact time. Excellent customer service from start to finish.

However a different story few weeks on. It had sunk on one side it creaked.

Rang them waited 3 weeks for someone to come out. Omg no wonder only took minutes to install and we had problems they didn’t tighten any screws hence the noise and sunk, no oil used around washers. The engineer was brilliant he was here over an hour sorting the problem so when installing they didn’t tighten the frame just put it together, no screws tightened, foot circles to protect floor not pushed in properly, put sofa too near the wall. Over time the sofa mechanics would have broken down, obviously installers just deliver not professionally trained to put and test the sofas hence above comments. The company not their own to rectify the problem awaited 3 weeks but worth it . Maybe this should have have been delivered by trained staff clearly they weren’t just delivered put together and left.

Engineer who corrected problem had another 6 jobs after us !!!!!!

From the moment we walked into poltronesofa Bedford store, we felt welcomed. Staff were very friendly.
AJ was the customer service person that delt with us. He invited us to look around, he gave us our space, but was available to answer our questions, we did not feel rushed, after choosing our sofa he assisted us to place our order. there are very few places that i have experience such excellent customer service.

Delivery was excellent.

Our new sofa purchase was made very easy with the help and advice from AJ in the Bedford branch. He helped us find exactly what we wanted without the hard sell tactics of trying to sell more than needed. The delivery guys were excellent, making sure everything worked and was in the right place, and clearing up after themselves. We must be happy as we've just ordered a chair to go with our sofas.

In March 2026 we bought a sofa from the above company, Bedford Branch. We received good service in store and paid the full amount plus delivery charge, on the day. We were informed that, because of various delays, delivery was not likely to be until July and this was reflected in the paperwork, July 17th being the advisory date. We were happy with this as we were in no hurry for delivery and pointed out that we had other commitments, including holidays, before then.
Imagine my surprise to receive a text yesterday, June 27th stating that the sofa would be delivered on Tuesday 30th June, only three days away. Unfortunately we had commitments on that day and were unable to accept delivery and so we rang the store. we were offered delivery on July 11th, when we were on holiday, and July 20th, which we could accept. Imagine my reaction when i was informed that there would be a " storage fee" of £40 per week.
I wish to make clear that it is not my fault, but a company issue that there is no capacity to store customer items , neither is it my fault that the item arrived unexpectedly earlier than anticipated.
I have been informed by the store manager that, unless the storage fee is paid the item - fully paid plus delivery, will not be released. Be aware that scs/poltronesofa customers who are not in a positon to accept almost immediate delivery of their furniture, with very little notice, will be liable for this fee.
This is not customer focused but meets the needs of the company and is punitive.
I do not intend to pay the fee and will be taking further advice on a way forward.
After many years of using SCS, I am sad and disappointed that the company now seems to have moved away from its original high standards of customer service. I would say Buyer Beware.

First time I have used Patrones the sales and delivery people are great to deal with and the products is very good
