Disgraceful you should be ashamed off taking people money you will here from my solicitor and will be putting it.all over about how you are not the sofa we ordered so hard and uncomfortable not what we ordered not colour we ordered just because we are pensioners where not thick so many times I’ve travelled to scs from Halifax got no joy didn’t have a sofa for2 days then said it wasn’t in wear house it would be 8 th off June then I said I would be coming for a full refund if it wasn’t coming my husband is 80 how would you feel sat on a kiddie chair if it wasn’t your mum or dad then he rang me back said or it is in wear house and send me this

From the sales lady in the shop to the two delivery men ,the service was excellent.

First class service

Missing screws from the sofa. Delivery driver reported to scs and haven’t had a single phone call to arrange delivery of screws and also installation.

Edit review- technician came within three days of this complaint and rectified so feel I’d only fair to amend review.

From the salesperson to delivery the service was excellent.
Sales left us alone to browse and were helpful but not pushy.
Delivery communication was excellent and the delivery guys were polite and efficient.

I visted the store twise within a few days I brought my daughter the first time and my son the second .on my first visit I was very impressed with the gentleman we spoke with didnt rush us took his time to listen to what we wanted
On our second visit we were given a warm welcome and the gentleman remembered me and what we spoke about
Both my children were very impressed with the store believe me my son is very hard to impress
The store I visited was at Birstall and the gentleman was mj Patel

Greeted us in a friendly manner as we walked through the door , giving us some good information regarding the products , then left us to wander round the store at our leisure, which we were grateful of ( when you get followed around a store it puts us off) then when we needed more information a member of the sales team was available once again no hard sell was used

Bought a sofa from SCS and while the sofa itself is great, the overall experience was very disappointing. My order was initially processed incorrectly, I was misinformed about some sofa features, and the 3-seater footstool does not function properly as demonstrated in store.

I was also charged for additional products and services I did not request, and despite multiple calls and emails, I struggled to get any meaningful response. I even had to travel from Halifax to Birstall in person, only to be told the charges could not be removed.

Overall, poor communication, misleading information, and the way my concerns were handled left me feeling dismissed as a customer. Very frustrating experience despite liking the sofa itself.
