I ordered nearly £50 worth of bread, my account was debited on 15 May 2026 – I have not heard anything at all or received acknowledgement of my order. Appalling.

Terrible. Have ordered from this company for years. Made a £20 order 3 weeks ago, not received my order, seedful email has bounced back, can’t reach anyone. Very disappointing.

The company appears to have gone into…

The company appears to have gone into administration but it’s still allowing orders to go through on the website.
I’d always had good service up until now. My latest order was never delivered. No response from customer services either.
Thankfully I paid via Paypal so was able to get a refund.

As other reviewers have found, this company is dreadful. My order hasn’t arrived and they haven’t responded to emails. I wish I’d checked Trustpilot first. I’ll warn everyone to avoid these grifters.

AVOIDing Heart of Nature from now on

AVOIDing Heart of Nature from now on. I ordered the offer of 6 loaves of Heart of Nature bread on Heart of Nature website, money taken, supposedly dispatched same day, Royal Mail still expecting their parcel 9 days later. No reply to emails, no number to call!

Disappointing and unlawful

We contacted Seedful via email in May to organise a large delivery to where we live. The email was responded to immediately and first impressions seemed very positive. We were in touch regularly with someone claiming to be a Seedful manager and upon payment for the order we awaited news of the tracking and shipment. Back and forth about the shipment went on for several months but to this day we never received confirmation of the tracking. Emails sent to customer services started to bounce and the seemingly helpful manager kept giving us different excuses to justify the delay in processing our refund. To date no refund has been processed, despite waiting for months. After reading these reviews it is clear there is a serious problem.

DONT ORDER awful company

After a previous bad experience a few years ago, I was tempted to try again but wish I hadn't wasted my money. Brought 6 packs in a flash sale and 2 x packs already moldy and dated until 12/25.
I have emailed company but no reply ..... why did I expect anything different after last time of no communication with an order issue.

Order not received

Order not received and according to Royal Mail tracking, the item has not been received yet. I have tried contacting 4 times today and on each occasion my email is returned with ‘server error’, even when I use the links on their website. I then read the reviews on Trust Pilot and realise I may have been scammed.

I mistakenly decided to give this appalling co another chance - BIG MISTAKE - within a month all the bread (6 packets) has all blown - emails returned from the company…..no way to contact them. Am reporting them to trading standards….AVOID!

Incredible Bar.

I placed my order and received it within a week. The bars themselves are outstanding and nothing really compared to them with regard to clean ingredients. From reading everybody else’s reviews, they do seem to be having some administration and communication difficulties and I do hope that they overcome these and get their staffing sorted out because the company itself is a gold mine. I want to be ordering from this company for a very long time. There is nothing else on the market like these bars. They’re the only bar that I eat. I did have to contact them through email and I never got a reply and that was months ago. I have to give them five stars because of their quality of product and the delivery was no problem. I didn’t have any issues. However, I have recently noticed they have no stock on their cranberry protein bar. Again, I really hope that they can sort out whatever issues have been holding them back from being the best that can be.

Avoid!
I received mouldy bread. I took a photo and emailed “customer services”
They offered me a refund (via bank transfer! - very strange) , I sent across my bank details. 3 weeks later no refund. I emailed to follow up to find they have blocked me. Received this message after my email failed to send “Your message wasn't delivered because the destination email system rejected your message for security or policy reasons”

Terrible unprofessional service. Poor work ethics. And bread tastes like cardboard.

I placed a high value order on 19 April…

I placed a high value order on 19 April 2025 and although notified by Seedful that the order was dispatched on 21 April, it was in fact never dispatched. Seedful confirmed this after four enquiries. This awful retailer repeatedly takes refuge behind their 'back-end team' and Royal Mail and have twice promised 'immediate dispatch', which 3 weeks later has not been done. Neither their Customer Services, nor Seedful's 'back-end team' have provided reassurance about the order nor a refund. I suggest customers who have paid for products not received take the matter up after a reasonable period, with the Trading Standards Authority or independent retail bodies like Trustpilot. The alternative of gaining traction with Seedful.co.uk Customer Services is a waste of your time and responses are futile.

The Heart of Nature Seedful Slices

I bought The Heart of Nature Seedful Slices without really examining it, because they were next to the German bread that I would normally buy - and the first impression caught my eye.
It was only when I got to open it that I saw the completely old fashioned and unfriendly packaging with way too much incredibly thick plastic. At least 2cm too much, all the way round - and then it turns out that it's unnecessarily a twin-pack - doubling the quantity of plastic.
It is so thick that it's impossible to open without a tool - it doesn't use any of the modern techniques that would allow it to be resealed.
There is absolutely NO recycling or waste advice or information whatsoever - every package has some kind of recycling help, doesn't it? This has nothing at all - not one single icon that would give me any kind of idea about what to do with their waste.
I find that omission unacceptable and suspicious - who is behind this company Seedful? There is no information on the packaging about their ethics or credentials or history or background to the bread or where the ingredients come from.
Am I asking too much?
I think there is a limit to the acceptable amount of modern accountability - and this falls below it - because they are attracting the alternative high-end market and people buying those kind of products expect better.
It's covered with rather strange and unnecessary recipes for what to put on the bread.
There is a curiously ill-fitting quote from Thomas Edison (who had rather dubious ethics).
It then repeats the over-used "no palm oil, ever" adage.
The card wrapper for the plastic is emblazoned with scarcely believable praise from celebrities.
The bread itself is so-so - the slices are way too thick.
I bought it at Waitrose and my rather extraordinarily negative experience with this product has taught me to be more careful about what I buy even from a once-trusted retailer.

This company is the worst with regard…

This company is the worst with regard to Customer Care that I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I am waiting for over two weeks for my order to be dispatched and my emails are being totally ignored.
It is such a shame the company is so badly run because their products are good.
5 weeks along the line and a dozen emails later I am no nearer to resolve. AVOID this company it has become fraudulent.

Dishonest company - never recived items or refund. .

I made an order- followed up - but 2 weeks later it was still not dispatched. I asked for a refund its been well over a month now since they took my money - no refund has arrived dispite several emails back and forth with them - shame as I like the product but they have just stolen my money ☹️
* Infact they have now messaged me after weeks of saying they will refund me and accused me of receiving the order !
Dishonest scam company.

SO bad I'm flabbergasted

I'm flabbergasted. Orders not even sent out, twice! Despite emailing and social media messaging them. Then a very unprofessional reply, initially, giving me credit on their site, to whit I ordered again ...and again it has not been sent!! Additionally the Account pages, for your account on their webpage is a DEAD link. What a shame I love the products.update: strangely after this review my order finally arrived!

Great bread, but late shipping

Initially I gave a one-star review as a week after placing the order nothing arrived and the tracking showed it had not even been dispatched.
I sent a message to the company and then a few days later it arrived and I’m pleased to say it arrived with 6 months date on it. I would have loved to leave a 5 star review, but they do need to sort out their distribution process.

wish I had read the reviews before…

wish I had read the reviews before ordering! not received my order nearly a week later, they have replied to one of my three emails but it didn't make sense and didn't tell me where my order was. They don't deserve to be in business. It's a shame as the bread was delicious.

No product received and no tracking

No product received after 10 days, no tracking available - no replies to emails, Shopify website is really bad and does not work well. Bought the bread first time in Waitrose and loved it so ordered in bulk. Wish I never had now - can’t believe the brand and service is so poor for such a good product so am guessing they are focused on wholesale only . I want my money back !

Poor product. No customer service.

BOGOF offer not fulfilled despite reassurance missing product would be sent. One pack in the initial order contained mouldy bread. No response from Seedful when notified of this. Poor service and product.

More Mouldy Bread!

First order was fine. Second Order of bread went mouldy. This was replaced, but mouldy on receipt. They offered me a refund which I never received. Eventually received a £10 voucher so had to spend more to use it (due to prices) plus £3.50 postage. So I'm still out of pocket. I get the feeling they are going down. Shame, as I love their protein bars. I hope I'm not crunching mould though!
