SO bad I'm flabbergasted
I'm flabbergasted. Orders not even sent out, twice! Despite emailing and social media messaging them. Then a very unprofessional reply, initially, giving me credit on their site, to whit I ordered again ...and again it has not been sent!! Additionally the Account pages, for your account on their webpage is a DEAD link. What a shame I love the products.update: strangely after this review my order finally arrived!
Great bread, but late shipping
Initially I gave a one-star review as a week after placing the order nothing arrived and the tracking showed it had not even been dispatched.
I sent a message to the company and then a few days later it arrived and I’m pleased to say it arrived with 6 months date on it. I would have loved to leave a 5 star review, but they do need to sort out their distribution process.

wish I had read the reviews before ordering! not received my order nearly a week later, they have replied to one of my three emails but it didn't make sense and didn't tell me where my order was. They don't deserve to be in business. It's a shame as the bread was delicious.
No product received and no tracking
No product received after 10 days, no tracking available - no replies to emails, Shopify website is really bad and does not work well. Bought the bread first time in Waitrose and loved it so ordered in bulk. Wish I never had now - can’t believe the brand and service is so poor for such a good product so am guessing they are focused on wholesale only . I want my money back !
Poor product. No customer service.
BOGOF offer not fulfilled despite reassurance missing product would be sent. One pack in the initial order contained mouldy bread. No response from Seedful when notified of this. Poor service and product.
More Mouldy Bread!
First order was fine. Second Order of bread went mouldy. This was replaced, but mouldy on receipt. They offered me a refund which I never received. Eventually received a £10 voucher so had to spend more to use it (due to prices) plus £3.50 postage. So I'm still out of pocket. I get the feeling they are going down. Shame, as I love their protein bars. I hope I'm not crunching mould though!
Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service! Ignore and never use! I’m so upset, they claim they will reply shortly but they haven’t and I haven’t heard from them since. Expensive order, claims to be with Royal Mail, they haven’t even dispatched it. They’ve stolen my money and I’m sure they will continue to do the same to others. Hope they read this and refund people! How sad
Appalling customer service and mouldy bread.
Appalling customer service. My bread went mouldy, I took pictures, sent them in and was told I’d get a refund. Well over a month later, they then wrote to me in a very condescending manner, asking why I requested a refund for two packs of bread when I sent in pictures of one; I responded and reminded them that I placed a very big order and there were two packs of the same bread that went mouldy.
They then agreed to refund two of them.
Over 2 months later, I still haven’t received the refund.
They’re taking a very long time to respond to my emails and I have to keep chasing them for any kind of response.
The refund still hasn’t been issued and I’m still having to chase them.
I will no longer be purchasing their products because they are not trustworthy.

Ordered on a 2 day delivery, a week later nothing.. not the end of the world these things happen...
However email after email nothing... the account section of the website is down...are they still in business ? Does anyone know how you get in contact with them by telephone... I am guessing the answer is there is none....
Shame as the product product is good....
I won't be doing anymore business in the future with this company and refuse to buy their product in the supermarket any longer...
The fact they haven't acknowledged even a single complaint on this website, probably tells you all you need to know....
Now I have to spend valuable time in my life obtaining a refund....
Customer Dis-Service
Would have given no stars if possible.
Hopeless customer service.
I've had three lots of Seedful Slices which were mouldy though still unopened and well within consume by date.
Wrote to suggest they look into their packaging as that might be responsible. Some of it is over inflated which indicates someting is wrong with the packaging. Had to badger them to reply to emails and ( my own fault) didn't read the returns T& C's. But only just been told about their returns policy today, after strings of emails went to and fro between me and them. Never buying from them again. Shame because the bread is good, provided, of course, it's not mouldy.
Pathetic customer care
Parcel got lost. They don’t refund. They don’t reply to emails. I no longer trust them and will buy elsewhere/
Unreliable, do not buy from
Similar to others, products take a very long time to arrive... the latest package has not arrived at all in spite of payment being taken. Also, when I attempt to cancel or claim a refund on the website via the my account page, or track my order, I receive the message 'this site can't be reached.' Meaning I will have to contact the bank to avoid making further payments for packages I am not receiving, and also left unsure if I will be refunded for those already paid for. Such a shame because I love the bread but the service is so unreliable.
Extremely poor customer service
I ordered from this company their delicious bread and there must have been something wrong with the packaging because it went mouldy very quickly.
The response to my first request for replacement on 09/12/24 was relatively quick. However, here I am coming towards the end of January 2025, no replacement and no refund.
There has been no reason for not receiving my order. I get the standard response of "thank you for your patience"??
I have had to elevate this to their complaints department to get a response. I have cancelled my subscription with them due to their extremely poor customer service and will go to Waitrose instead.
In the meantime please refund my expensive order!
Mouldy bread months inside bb date.
Can echo that bread slices pack has not lasted anywhere near the best before date and went extremely mouldy. There’s clearly a problem with the packaging process.
Customer service have no phone number and took days to reply just to ask for the same details to be sent again.
Will register feedback with Waitrose and claim a refund from them.
Best avoid Seedful I think as it’s a terrible waste of food.
No bread, no refund
Placed 2 expensive orders from the US, the bread never arrived. Followed up 3 times with customer service, who kept fobbing me off with the same "a report needs to be started..." No refund. Basically, this company stole my money.
Mouldy bread every time
I keep buying the bread in Waitrose The expiry date is always three months away. I keep it in the fridge.
It’s going mouldy within a few days even the packs that are not open.
Such a shame.
Dreadful customer service
Sadly my experience has been like many other reviewers. The product is good but the customer service is appalling. I reported mouldy bread well over a month ago and the customer service has been dreadful. No replacement or refund.
Product & customer service still terrible
I’m sorry to say the customer service has not improved. I loved the original product from Waitrose but was disappointed when I ordered direct after my local store closed 3 years ago. The bread was mouldy and no amount of emails etc generated any response. I have tried again recently and the same problem occurred. Such a shame as the actual product is great
Mouldy Old Dough Seedful Slices
Like many others leaving a review for Seedful, I have had moldy seedful slices with 4 months left on the use by date, as well as 3 ignored emails that I sent to them with photos attached. The only thing I can think of doing now is approaching Waitrose in the hope that they will discontinue using this unprincipled company. It's so disappointing that the company making this tasty product has this apparently uncaring attitude towards its customers. Maybe we should contact Dragon's Den and expose this unscrupulous behaviour :-(

I’m sure I’m not the only one that foolishly believes people who make healthy products and who care for the environment are going to be nice people. Obviously I’m wrong.
I recently purchased some of The Heart Of Nature bread out of curiosity and for the possible health benefits. Though I was also baffled as to how bread could have a sell-by-date four months ahead. What would make it last without additives?
Two weeks after purchase I opened one of the packets of bread and was shocked to see really thick mould all over it. I wish I could attach photos.
I immediately took photos and sent them to Seedful and thought I’d get a polite reply. Far from it. Customer service accused me of storing the bread in a damp place for a long time. I couldn’t believe what I was reading! I have no idea who wrote the email as they didn’t bother to add their name. But to immediately blame the customer? Bad Public Relations!
Perhaps foolishly I’ve purchased a batch of more of the bread as I really like it. I presumed I just got unlucky with the one packet of mouldy bread. But to now
come on Trustpilot and see how many other people have been in the same situation is utterly shocking and disturbing. I’ve paid by credit card, so if there’s anymore mouldy bread I’ll take up the matter with my card provider.
There’s really no point in a business giving the public a nice story about being supported by the Dragon’s Den TV show, and some very minor celebrities (I only
know one) if the business cannot supply healthy goods not covered in mould. I want to protect my health, not ingest rotting food. And I’m quite sure the Dragon’s Den panel and the minor celebrities feel the same way. And at nearly £4 for only 8 small slices of bread you really don’t expect to be paying for mould.
Ultimately it's really sad and annoying that someone has created such a great product such as The Heart of Nature bread. I absolutely love it. And I want to buy it and eat it most days. But I'm not not prepared to buy bread that has mould on in it within days and have a continuous battle for a refund. The Seedful business really need to figure out what's going wrong as they have a big problem.
