Hi Felipe
This is a very unfair review given that you ordered items that took 7-10 working days to ship. You decided to have these items delivered to a hotel, and you didn’t contact us at the time of ordering to tell us the dates you would be there until.
We are a small family business. You contacted us about a week after placing the order on a Wednesday and said you would be at the hotel until “NEXT” Friday, I then sent your order out on an express free of charge, which you refused to pay, despite you only paying for the economy courier rate despite needing the goods quickly.
The goods got to you on the Monday of the following week, which I thought would be in time for “next” Friday, suddenly you changed to say it would be this Friday on the Friday after I shipped the goods, this is very hard to navigate as it was suddenly different the dates you were now leaving. If I had known that I would have asked for an alternative address to send the goods to.
We tried phoning you and sending numerous emails to explain that now the items had been delivered at the hotel we couldn’t then intercept the goods.
We could have arranged a collection and then send it to you, but fed ex were going to charge more than the express and we had already made a loss trying to get this to you quicker.
In all fairness you really should have contacted us to tell us the specific date you needed these by. We work with many customers to get their goods to hotels for them arriving or leaving within a specific time frame but you truly must communicate that with the company you are ordering from.
These items take 7-10 working days to receive in the UK I managed to get them to you within this time in Antwerp. When on economy it should really be 13-15 working days.
We truly did try but it was impossible to navigate with ever changing dates.
I hope you managed to get the hotel to work with you to get your goods in the end.
I hope at some point you can understand and see from all of our messages from various colleagues that we did indeed try to meet your expectations, which I’m sorry, were unclear for us. Communication is very important when you are at a temporary address

Great things are worth waiting for
I originally rated this company lower but this was on the delivery time and not for the quality of the product.
On chasing up my order I was happy and satisfied with the honest explanation which she provided. I also appreciate that I purchased this product for a lot cheaper and from a family run business rather than if I had gone directly to the supplier. Sometimes deliveries and products are in the hands of bigger companies. I want to apologise for my original review and need to learn more patience. We are constantly losing smaller family run businesses in our country and need to support them as they rely heavily on our reviews. Thank you

New Zealand purchase
Once I had selected the wallpaper I wished to purchase which had to be shipped to New Zealand, I have to give top marks for customer service. Prompt replys to the questions I had and it was delivered here just 10 days later and I could track all the way, where it was. Would not hesitate to purchase again from Select Wallpaper.

i have now emailed you in regards to your sample order and hope to hear back from you, to resolve this.
the sample you ordered had just been discontinued and we weren't notified of this from our supplier, which is why in turn you hadn't received an update.
we really do work hard to keep everyone happy, but unfortunately it looks like your sample has faced some issues on this occasion.
i have emailed you in the hopes of remedying this and have refunded the £1 postage.
If you ever need to have something cleared up in the future we would love it if you contacted us so that we can remedy.
