Good service.i was provided with a good quote

I have used other companies, but these guys are the quickest and best. I haven't had issues in the past but this time DPD let me down, I called sellyourlaptop and the customer service was excellent, sorted it out very quick. 10/10

Would happily use them again in the future. Even with the Easter weekend and issues with the courier the company kept me updated regularly. The gentleman I spoke to was polite, clear and honest at every stage, a level of transparency you don't get from most places these days as they care about doing a good job. Would recommend 100%

My laptop was collected a week ago, There has been a delay because of dpd and the bank holiday. I spoke to Sam a couple of times as I was concerned my laptop was lost. But turns out dpd sent it to the wrong place and he was hurt by the silly 1 star reviews which are out of their control and people haven’t received the money. I was very understanding about this never got angry with them. And Sam was so helpful even has paid me whilst still waiting for my product.these things happen and people should be more considerate. I highly recommend them and I will 100% use them again in the future. I found the whole experience extremely pleasant and Sam’s customer service was 2nd to none. Please ignore the 1 star reviews from the inpatient and rude customers. Keep up the great work guys. Michael

Excellent service, good communication and great prices quoted

It’s now been a whole week and I still haven’t received any payment. I sent my machines on Tuesday and they didn’t arrive until yesterday, Monday. The timeframe they give you is false and cash within 48 hours. It’s now been a week.

Very disappointing

Incompetence.
I got a quote and booked a collection for my laptop. They used DPD, and on the day of collection the driver didn't show to collect and lied by marking the parcel "refused/not required" in spite of the fact that we waited indoors watching out for him.
Now, that's not the fault of sellyourlaptop, so I contacted customer service and explained what happened, trying to get a new booking since there was no option to do that with DPD. Their customer service turned out to be terrible and incompetent. First they told me they were passing my case over to warehouse. After no further response I emailed again asking for an update and got a rep asking for DPD proof of collection and I had to explain again that it hadn't been collected... yep, it's one of 'those' customer services where they don't even know your case each time you speak to them. After a couple more responses going nowhere, and it was now 5 days since I'd booked it originally, I gave up and used a different company that were actually competent.
EDIT: to respond to their reply which they edited and added "As always we guarantee payment within 24 hours and once the item was received the item was tested and paid within the time frame." This is a lie! As you can read from my original review, they never got my laptop in the end so they didn't receive it or test it or pay anything in any time frame. Again: I gave up after days of pointless emails with them and sold my laptop to a different company instead.

Called up after a price review and spoke to a member of the sales team managed to get my price up by a few hundred pounds very happy with it.

Excellent service. Sent off two laptops. I did receive a slightly lower offer than was initially quoted but they sent photos to show the lower offer was fully justified and I understood why they did it. I responded to ask some questions; had a response within 10 minutes. I agreed to a new price and had the money in my account within 10 minutes.

I had a brand new laptop, still boxed and unused - was quoted £200.00 by this company. Took a week to test the product and then I received an email stating the new offer of £99.00. I was quoted £160+ by other companies but went for the higher £200.00 offer, only for a week later to find that offer, over halved. Would not recommend this company at all, tease you in with a good offer then lowball you when you have neither the product or funds in your possession.

It was very easy to get a quote online, print a postage label which was free and send my laptop off. I was thrilled with the price considering the laptop was broken and was not working properly. There was no hassle receiving the money and the communication of progress was superb. I received what was expected, hassle free. Very happy with the service and will use again in the future.

I had no issues with sending off my old laptop, there was no change to the price once they had recieved it, which I've had with other companies buying my old tech. It was sent off and recieved real quick and I recieved my payback the same day!

Recently sold 2 laptops through SYL. Easy service, nice and quick and got the money I was quoted. Easy company to deal with!

They gave me a quote and then after checking the laptop put the agreed amount in my bank!
Nice and simple and less hassle than trying to sell privately or trade in!
