Always had a good service from Envirophone.

Sent my phone just before the bank holiday weekend. Tuesday the phone was received checked and tge money was all put in my account.
Wish everything was this quick and simple. Would recommend and use again.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Envirofone.

I was originally quoted £80 for my phone, but after sending it in, Envirofone reduced the offer to just £9.99, claiming the device had screen burn. I was unhappy with this revised valuation and rejected the offer, expecting my phone to be returned as per their process.

However, despite rejecting the reduced offer, Envirofone went ahead and processed the sale anyway for £9.99 without my consent. I immediately contacted customer services to complain, making it very clear that I had not accepted the revised offer and that I wanted my phone returned.

To make matters worse, I then received another email giving me the option to have my phone returned, which I selected — only for Envirofone to process the sale of my phone again instead of returning it.

This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. The communication has been poor, the process has been mishandled multiple times, and most importantly, my instructions were ignored on two separate occasions. I trusted Envirofone to handle the transaction fairly and professionally, but instead I have been left feeling misled and completely let down.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using Envirofone. Based on my experience, their valuation process is unreliable, and their handling of customer decisions is unacceptable.

Edited following my experience disputing with Envirofone.

- My phone was sent in with no damage, only surface scratches.
- The phone was valued in good condition (accounting for the scratches) at £195
- Envirofone offered £60 when they received it
- When I disputed, Envirofone sent pictures of my device with FRESH scuff marks along the device consistent with a drop/scrape on a rough surface. This was obviously fresh given the dusting around the scuffs.
- There was also a gouge in the screen with missing glass particles next to these scuffs which was not present when I sent.
- Envirofone said they only photograph AFTER a dispute.
- They REFUSED to acknowledge my concerns surrounding the scuffs. Then claimed I was accusing them of deliberate damage.
- They REFUSED to send photos of the packaging. So if your phone gets damaged in transit, dont expect to be able to claim the damage from the courier.
- I checked with my fingernail before dispatching that the scratches were surface level only. Envirofone said I might have missed the deep gouge as it was "very subtle" despite knocking £135 off my valuation.
- Envirofone claim the faulty 'upto' £120 is an upto based on the condition, yet the baseline £120 already allows for heavy wear and tear, physical damage and/or cracks to the screen. But then claimed the £60 was fair due to the "very subtle" crack that I could have "easily missed".
- I had photos of the device, showing no damage. Envirofone claimed these were not 'close enough' to show the damage as no damage was visible.

The whole process lacked transparency and I will never use Envirofone ever again. If anything goes wrong, you're on your own and my only other option was to get a device back in worse condition than I sent it with no recourse or adequate explanation.

Original review:Sent my S24 in good condition. Offer reduced from £195 to £60 claiming a cracked screen — below their own published Faulty minimum price.

Their inspection photos, taken only after I disputed the offer, show scuff marks consistent with the device being placed face-down on a rough surface. These were not present when dispatched.

When challenged, their own team described the damage as a 'very subtle chip' — yet this was used to justify a Faulty classification. The offer has since been raised to £120 as 'goodwill', which conveniently aligns with the maximum Faulty price.

Fair condition on their website is a fixed £195 with no 'up to' caveat. Dispute ongoing.
