I have been with Shopandscan for over 15 years, probably closer to 20.
Anyway, my clicker would not transmit the barcodes last week (Wed 17th June, 2026), and the old workaround of using Internet Explorer, which I used to "unblock" the clicker, is no longer a viable option, as I recently had to get a new computer, which comes with Windows 11 operating system. Internet Explorer is not available on Windows 11, so no workaround.
I used the contact us on Shopandscan and also sent an email explaining the situation on the 17th of June. I have completed all the solutions that were requested in their email dated 18th June. The clicker still will not transmit the barcodes.
Their second email to me, dated the 19th June, stated that if their solutions do not work, they will send out a new clicker. I replied to that email the same day, explaining that none of the solutions resolved the issue. I requested a replacement clicker and provided my address details.
Shopandscan CS went silent. I never heard a thing from their CS since. I sent a follow-up email to their CS asking if a new clicker was being sent out. Again, silence.
I have received the standard points awarded emails that everyone receives on a Monday. Then on Wednesday, 24th June at 5.15 am, I received another email from Shopandscan asking, "Need a hand earning points?" I replied to that email, explaining what had happened and that I am awaiting confirmation that a new clicker is being sent out, only to receive an automated reply with the subject line "helpdesk unavailable".
It is infuriating, to say the least, when I am awaiting a reply confirming that a new clicker has been sent to me.
I thought today, 24th June 2026, a week after initial contact, I would call their main help desk. I called several times, but no one was available each time, and I was asked to leave a message so someone could contact me. All sounds good, but their mailbox is also full, so there is no way to speak to anyone, leave a message, and emails/replies are ignored.
I have a faulty clicker, and it seems Shopandscan will not replace it. Their customer service is almost impossible to reach, so I am not feeling hopeful about what comes next.
Editing to add: I managed to speak to someone on the helpdesk, who arranged for a new clicker to be sent out and also promised I would receive my points last week. I never received the points (either 100 or 500 points), just another lie to fob me off.
I received a new clicker, but guess what, it has to be activated on their website first. How am I supposed to do that when you only allow transmissions via Internet Explorer, which Microsoft permanently retired on June 15, 2022 and replaced it with Microsoft Edge? Personally, I use Firefox as my preferred web browser, which also can not be used with your outdated software/hardware, along with popular browsers like Chrome and Safari.
I also emailed over a week ago asking how I can activate the clicker. This, along with a further email I sent a couple of days ago, has also been ignored. The only email I have received is the pestering "you have not transmitted your barcodes" on Monday. Oh, the irony.
They clearly do not care anymore.

I'm beginning to think I have a blackmark against my name???? It's been 4 weeks since the last failure and lots of emails which remain ignored....

after reinstalling windows 11, downloaded the desktop app and get the usual page for transmitting but with a red exclamation flash, when i click to transmit, advised to install desktop app????? have contacted help many many times, and received NOTHING I give up!!!

Bad company: they deleted my account because I fell outside of their target audience, but continue to send me emails which I cannot unsubscribe to. This is a GDPR violation by the way, email subscriptions require easy opt in and opt out.

I have been with S&S for over 20 years ,rewards not changed in that time and since the new download episode I cannot access my account ,the only advice I was given was to delete the S&S Launcher app and then upload I have done this 3 times,doesn't work,if you are considering joining S&S don't bother it's very frustrating and gives little in return Walney girl

PANEL NO: 202234: I have been with ShopandScan since 2011 with no problems at all. Then we have to download a new app. Which would not work on mywindows laptop. So I bought a new Windows 11 Laptop. Download the app and the message "Clicker seems to be disconnected " After I contacted them numerous times by emails and phone calls to the company. They sent a new Clicker and Cable . Still the same message came up. I had two of their operators on the phone at different times and we reloaded the Clicker over and over again. Still same message. In the meantime I'm receiving emails and a postal letter saying I must use the New App. The last man couldn't help so after all this time trouble and expense he said maybe they will fix the problems they have in the future. So that's it for me. Who ever designed thar app obviously didn't bother seeing if it worked. 😡

It‘s really worth it .I used it almost 1year and got ₹70 reward. It's easy to use. Everything works great reward and the survey opportunities. But one thing i didn't got all the survey.In last 1 year i just got only 2 survey but my relatives they got more than me .
And I also say their customer care service is rellay good. They are really helpful.

I am already have the Kantar scan and go app for my main shopping and being invited to use food on the go is an added bonus. It’s quick and easy to use which is perfect. I even sent the link to my husband. I haven’t used the rewards yet as I like to save them up.😊
