BEWARE THEY WILL BLOCK YOUR ORDER…
BEWARE THEY WILL BLOCK YOUR ORDER WITHOUT INFORMING YOU. I've literally ordered the same item countless time over the last 5 years and suddenly they decided to change their rules to block that product type from shipping. I've just wasted AED500! Honestly zero regard for the customer, they simply don't care.
Over $100 in Extra Charges for a $25 Kitchen Scale! Terrible Experience.
I purchased a kitchen scale from Amazon USA for just $25, but Aramex Shop & Ship Egypt charged me an additional EGP 5,538 ($103.50), bringing the total cost to approximately $128.50, over FIVE TIMES the original price!
The breakdown:
EGP 1,270 shipping.
EGP 2,558.48 customs-related charges, despite the official customs document they provided showing only EGP 761.82! The remaining EGP 1,796.66 consisted of various questionable administrative and clearance fees, including EGP 800 for clearance, EGP 404 for "single-window fees," and EGP 335 for "official receipts."
EGP 1,710 demanded separately for "stamp and scales approval," which I transferred to their bank account without receiving an official receipt from the relevant authority.
Their customer service is absolutely terrible. Whenever I request clarification, they either ignore my questions, provide robotic, dismissive responses, or literally CLOSE support tickets without answering anything!
The lack of transparency is unacceptable. I have documentation supporting every amount, including the official customs receipt, Aramex's breakdown, emails, and payment confirmation.
Extremely unreliable, zero customer support, and constant sudden address closure
I signed up for Shop & Ship specifically to forward purchases from South Korea to Jordan. Out of nowhere, they announced that their Korean warehouse was closing down. Because of this sudden disruption, I had three preorder shipments scheduled for delivery in November left in limbo.
To salvage my packages, I was forced to pay additional out-of-pocket fees to change the shipping destination to their Japanese warehouse, resulting in far higher shipping fees than expected. On top of that, one seller refused the address change, forcing me to pay a separate third-party warehouse in Korea to handle it.
As if that wasn't bad enough, a shipment that arrived at their Japanese address on October 6th has had zero updates for over a week. When I called customer service for help, they were completely useless and provided no clarity or assistance.
Today, I received another email stating that their Japanese address is closing as well. Shipments after October 24th won't be accepted, meaning I have to re-route my orders yet again and pay even more money.
Shop & Ship is an absolute scam and a total money pit. They lose track of packages, provide zero support, close addresses without proper warning, and force customers to pay for their management failures. Avoid at all costs!
Rip off and unclear charges
Unfortunately, it is the only option available, otherwise I will not use this service for one second, rip off and unclear charges
Wrong tracking number
Hi there, Shop and Ship provided me number that corently not trackball c9a4b3, thay are also recognize as wrong
Signed up to shop and ship ,they…
Signed up to shop and ship ,they charged me for a basic package and then deactivated my account so I cannot use it.
I have sent repeated messages ,no response.I feel I have been scammed.
Parcel eventually arrived
Parcel eventually arrived, but the process was far more difficult than it should have been
I used Shop & Ship to have a dress forwarded from the USA to Australia. The parcel did eventually arrive, but the experience was extremely frustrating and required far too much intervention from me.
The original retailer omitted my Shop & Ship account number from the delivery address, so there was initially a delay while the parcel was identified and allocated to my account. Once that was resolved, the real problem began.
Shop & Ship repeatedly showed that I needed to add an E-Invoice, even though I had already uploaded the purchase invoice. The website and app did not give me a functioning way to complete the E-Invoice requirement, so the parcel remained at origin.
I opened support cases, contacted customer service in Australia and the USA, tried the app and website repeatedly, and sent the invoice by email. Thos support cases have still not been actioned.
Eventually I reached Camilo Alarcon in Aramex Australia Customer Service. He manually uploaded the invoice, contacted the US origin Distribution Centre and kept me informed. Once he became involved, the parcel was finally manifested for export and started moving. I am very grateful for his assistance and professionalism.
There were still system issues afterwards. The payment link in the email did not work properly, although I was eventually able to pay the shipping and GST through the app. Even after the parcel was delivered to me, the Shop & Ship app still appeared to show it only just arriving in Sydney, so the tracking did not provide a reliable end-to-end view once the shipment entered the Australian Aramex network.
The parcel arrived safely in the end, but the amount of chasing, troubleshooting and escalation required was unreasonable for what should be a straightforward parcel-forwarding service.
My experience was that when something went wrong, the systems and normal support channels were very difficult to navigate. Without the intervention of an individual Aramex Australia staff member, I do not know how long the parcel would have remained stuck or where it may have ended up..
Only use when there are no other options
I really wanted something only available in Qatar, and SnS seemed to be one of the few forwarding options available, so I decided to give it a try despite the poor reviews.
The parcel arrived safely, but I had to be proactive and contact customer service to follow up. They charge a higher rate than the provider I normally use (which unfortunately doesn't support the Middle East), while the tracking and communication are considerably weaker.
I might use SnS again for shipping from the Middle East. For anywhere else, I'd stick with my usual provider or look for a more reliable option.
No communication, no parcel
My parcel has been at the warehouse overseas in Florida for a month and there has been no movement. I have sent multiple emails to no avail, and my parcel doesn’t even show up on the app anymore. I have no idea if I will ever receive my items.
Never again
What a horrible company. I’ve been using them for years, as they are the only forwarder with so many addresses across the world. It appears their KSA and Kuwait addresses though are a joke after the merchant attempted to deliver the parcel three times to KSA address and failed. Their Kuwait address lost my package. They recently closed down a dozen of their other addresses “for renovation” 😂 Now duties and customs for my latest package from the US were outrageous despite my package being valued less than AED 1000. And the shipping rates increased due to current situation. On top of everything a few of my other parcels got lost with them in the past as well. No point using this forwarder, too many risks and fees. Never again. Stay away!
Pathetic customer service and…
Pathetic customer service and ridiculously long delivery times. They charge the same or more than a proper courier company for an inferior service.
Worst experience of my life!!
Worst experience of my life!!! I got an email to pay for the delivery, but when I tried to access the website, nothing showed! On top of that, I have never seen any app that shows completely different information from the website; I am using the same login details! Like how stupid can you be to make your app different from your website
I cannot begin to express how little I…
I cannot begin to express how little I recommend this company. They lost a package that was over a metre long. Their customer service is non-existent. They make refunds non existent either. If you desire a package at all, the entire point of their service, stay as far away from them as you can. Absolutely phony of a company
Worst forwarding service ever
Worst forwarding service ever. I actually think its a scam. I ordered a package from Australia through their Turkey address. Arrived to Turkey, no one picked it up. Tried contacting their customer service, there was only a guy called Dani, who barely ever responds. Until my package got reshipped back to origin. Such a waste of time. Do not use their services!
Wrongly held as a “prescription drug,” released only after executive escalation — still charged full price
Update to my earlier review.
Shop and Ship refused a product they had previously accepted and delivered to me for over a year. They cited a restriction on “Prescription Drugs … and prescription medication.” The item is a non-prescription dietary supplement (Troscriptions Just Blue lozenges), shipment 5f05b1.
Frontline and recovery teams never addressed the evidence. They repeated the same policy excerpt, missed promised response times, and closed cases. A complaint to the Saudi Transport General Authority also produced no real review.
The classification was only corrected after I escalated to executive level. On 25 August 2026, a Vice President of Compliance admitted in writing that the product is a dietary supplement, not an RX or OTC drug, that the original assumption was incorrect, and that customer service’s failure to review the documentation was unacceptable. The shipment was then reclassified as “Dietary Supplements” and released.
Even after that admission, the package still sat. My account had been deactivated at my request during the dispute, which blocked processing until it was reopened. I then paid the full Shop and Ship invoice (AWB 9688053130 / invoice JED1615654425-SSI, SAR 91.65). After release it still took roughly two more weeks to clear and another 8–10 days to arrive. Total delay was about eight weeks from the original refusal.
The item did arrive. That does not fix the process. An ordinary customer cannot be expected to write executives in order to correct a basic screening error. Until frontline teams actually review evidence instead of pasting the same clause, this service is not reliable when a shipment is questioned.
Very disappointing experience with Shop…
Very disappointing experience with Shop & Ship Turkey.
My shipment was sent to the official Shop & Ship Turkey receiving address. DHL later informed me in writing that the recipient in Turkey did not respond to their messages or telephone calls regarding customs clearance.
I also tried repeatedly to contact Aramex / Shop & Ship Turkey, but I did not receive effective assistance in time.
As a result, my shipment remained in Turkish customs and significant storage and terminal charges accumulated.
I have opened a formal complaint and requested Shop & Ship Global to investigate the Turkey branch and take responsibility for the financial consequences caused by the lack of response.
I hope Shop & Ship Global resolves this issue fairly and urgently.
Wedding dress delivery from hell and the membership trap
I ordered my wedding dress from a shop in South Korea to be delivered to Bulgaria, Europe. The package was taken to London first. It was then given to DHL by Shop&Ship to deliver from London to Bulgaria and it got stuck in UK customs for more than a week, no explanation offered.
One day, I got an update from DHL that the package is being returned to the sender because of inconsistent information. I wasn't notified at all about the situation by S&S. I had to investigate the matter on my own, all the while begging DHL to hold and not send back yet, since S&S weren't responding to ANY of the tickets I left on their website. Turns out they had undervalued the dress on the customs declaration by MORE THAN 10 TIMES. Which, by the way, is so completely pointless as the commercial invoice (which customs agents usually require) contains the actual amount I paid for it. So anyone with eyes is going to notice the discrepancy right away. I've no idea if it's carelessness on their part, or if there's another reason for it, but it resulted in a lot of unnecessary drama.
After a nightmarish week, trying to get in touch with S&S to correct the customs declaration, exchanging emails back and forth with DHL, I contacted the Bulgarian Aramex representative (Aramex is the parent company). The Bulgarian Aramex office was absolutely marvelous - they did the impossible to resolve a situation, which was absolutely not their fault to begin with, and THEY called ME every day to update me. So 5/5 for those guys. They were really kind and professional, and they succeeded in getting my package delivered (even if a month overdue, but again, not their fault). I will definitely be using them again.
But Shop&Ship's support - crickets. I'm still waiting on a reply to tickets I sent a month ago. Their system is so buggy, I'm not even sure any agents actually receive them.
I wasn't going to leave a review, because I figured that my good experience with the Bulgarian Aramex office made up for my bad experience with S&S Global. However, I tried to cancel my active membership plan with S&S today as I don't plan on using them again - and every time I press on "Cancel Active Membership" I get automatically logged out. And on the desktop version, when I try to log in again, I get an error message and an access denied screen. I don't want to bug the guys at my local Aramex office again, so I had to go and block all future payments to S&S with my card provider since they are apparently refusing to cancel my membership. This is ridiculous and verging on scammy. Not to mention the absurdity of having to pay a monthly subscription for a delivery service when you pay for shipping anyway. Just a word of warning to anyone thinking to using Shop&Ship - save yourselves a lot of headache and don't.
Wouldn't recommend after 20 years as a customer
Wouldn't recommend them to anyone and I was a customer for 2 decades.
I wish I had read the reviews before…
I wish I had read the reviews before using their service. There is no way to upload the invoice or the requested information after they send you the email asking for it. This is only the beginning, and it already looks like there will be more headaches ahead.
I have contacted them multiple times but have received no response. I honestly don’t understand how this website is still operating or being managed by Aramex.
This is a scam
This is a scam. The postage charge is almost double what is quoted prior to the shipment being received at the in-country destination. Additionally, Aramex then inform you "due to the value of the goods charges will occur I'm afraid". The value of the goods is well below the import duty legislation (£45). I have communicated this with them and I am awaiting their response, however, I am anticipating them replying and also putting on an 'admin' charge. They leave no option other than to pay or you lose your goods. By the end of all of the charges it is cheaper to get the original seller to ship to the final destination. Avoid this company like the plague!
