Avoid as no aftercare once the warranty is up. I bought 6 gas lift bar stools 18 months ago, one by one the welds on the bottom of the stools began to come away on x5 of them meaning the chairs would lean dramatically so unable to use. I reached out to customer service to see if I could purchase new bases however I couldn’t as I was out of warranty. I asked for the suppliers contact details to see if I can purchase the bases direct and was ignored. Now I have to purchase x6 new stools, I would have imagined these stools to last way longer than 18 months as only used at meal times.

I bought two barstools late last year. One of them became damaged. I emailed then to ask if they could supply a replacement part. Within 4 days the part has arrived, free of charge. Absolutely first class service. Thank you Aidan.

Fabulous bar stools looks good in kitchen went for the heavier bases we did laughed when delivered we couldn’t life the boxes so unpacked on door step very good price indeed will buy again

I have used this company before and will again.

This is a very sturdy stool especially with the weighted base. Easy to put together but instructions omitted how to lower the stool. It has a gas canister built in and apparently you have to pull the lever under the stool and bounce up and down on it to activate it. I had to call customer services to find this out and suggested they put it on the instructions! Otherwise a great buy.

I bought 2 Antico kitchen barstool.they look very smart and are most comfortable. Good price and swift delivery. Would have given 5* but 1of the stools had been mis assembled with one leg much shorter giving unacceptable rocking. In fairness reaction of Simplybarstools was excellent.having sent them a couple of photos of problem they immediately sent replacement which was perfect. Polite and friendly to deal with. Hooghly recommended.
