debited £6336 from our account without authorisation.
We had used SimplyVAT previously and had a genuinely good experience, but unfortunately the service we have received recently has been completely different.
Despite agreeing a monthly payment arrangement, £6,336 was taken from our company account in one payment. Our accountant contacted them three times trying to resolve the matter without receiving a response. We subsequently escalated it ourselves and requested the money be refunded, but it still has not been returned.
We have since learned that the business changed ownership earlier this year. I can't say whether that is connected, but our recent experience has been a world away from the company we previously dealt with.
For a professional VAT and accounting provider handling important financial matters, communication and trust are fundamental. Unfortunately, based on our recent experience, both have been seriously lacking.

Robbed My Money, AVOID
4 months later and still nothing, where is my VAT number for Germany?? Where is my money?? They promised me both and delivered on neither.
The biggest scam compnay with bot reviews all over the website, avoid at all costs, especially if you sell on Amazon

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Extremely difficult to reach anyone at the company. Their customer service desk claims they respond within 48h but it has been 14 days and we still haven't heard back despite several follow ups. This experience is all while being paying customers. Do not recommend at all.

I only have to do a return once a year, and each year I forget what I needed to do. Great service all round for my EU VAT
Robyn has been great in dealing with our complex VAT returns across 7 EU markets. Has there been issues? Yes. Have they been dealt with quickly and with great communication..Yes.
Problems are a part of life/business and we all know this. The trick is dealing with them. Robyn and the Simply VAT team have been great at this. You can't ask for anymore !

What a wonderful partner company
What a wonderful partner company. Although a little bit more expensive than the competition, but so much worth it.
Had so much trouble with the previous companies and so much mess and all the penalties from different Tax Authorities, but SimplyVAT has solved most of them already.

We’re working with SimplyVAT.com for our Amazon FBA business and are very happy with the support so far, especially from Tamara.
Our setup is relatively complex with Pan-EU FBA, multiple VAT registrations and OSS topics across different EU countries. Because of that, we regularly have questions that are not completely straightforward. Tamara has always been very helpful, patient and reliable when dealing with those cases.
What we appreciate most is that communication is fast and clear. Even when topics become complicated, we usually get understandable and practical answers instead of generic responses. That makes a big difference in an area like VAT compliance where mistakes can become expensive quickly.
Compared to some other providers we dealt with in the past, the experience feels much more personal and less like being passed around between departments or ticket systems.
Overall, we are genuinely very satisfied with the cooperation so far and wanted to leave a positive review because good support in this field is not something we take for granted.

SimplyVAT is the best
SimplyVAT is the best service I have come across in EU VAT segment as I also deal with other service providers which lack the expertise or professionalism that SimplyVAT offers. The VAT specialists are responsive and proactive, very easy to deal with when we hit roadblocks and are scrambling for a fix. VAT compliance can be tricky but SimplyVAT makes it simple. I am not an easy person to get a review out of but the service is so good I owe them a thumbs up. more accountants need to engage with simplyVAT

Very solid service!
I used SimplyVAT for my German VAT and OSS registrations as a small e-commerce seller based in Australia. The whole EU VAT landscape is pretty complex, and my account manager Tamara was brilliant throughout the process. She was patient, thorough, and always responsive, even when I was slow getting data across or had questions about things I probably should have understood earlier :)
