Staff was very understanding and friendly. Gave me time to answer questions at my own pace and allowed me to take breaks.

I was really anxious about my assessment with skylight and couldn’t sleep the night before at all because I didn’t know what to expect or if I may be judged but Stephen really made me feel comfortable and respected and this helped me a lot during my assessment to be completely honest and open about my life and my disorder. I would recommend skylight to anyone who is neurodivergent and needs an honest assessment. This is something that is now going to help me going forward get the correct support for myself after my diagnosis. Thanks Skylight and thanks Stephen.

Personally can't fault skylight psychiatry.

Referal March 2025 ADHD diagnosed June 2025, ASD diagnosed September 2025. Was a issue with them receiving my form for ADHD medication but was resolved very quickly and my consultations monthly are very good and they take the time to make sure everything is okay etc. GP is very understanding and actually listens which is rare these days.

Shamir Patel Has been amazing.
He is a clinical pharmacist that has helped me massively in being treated correctly with my diagnosis. I have nothing but positive words to say about the lovely human. Incredible at his job, grateful for his support and his time. He never rushes his appointments and fully listens to every detail of the conversations. Very helpful and caring person. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me so far and continue to do. It's massively appreciated.

The whole process was easy to negotiate and the assessor Chris was really understanding and reassuring.

I was referred for ADHD assessment and Skylight were able to arrange assessment and enable access to medication quickly. The staff were friendly and supportive throughout the programme of assessment, titration, and getting the right dosage.

The doctor was so nice made me feel comfortable

The company is diabolical. I started medication titration in june and then my medication got stopped the beginning of September and despite me emailing them multiple times to get it resolved and new medication i was ignored every time. I must of emailed like 5 times i then had to get my gp involved and he emailed and they responded and gave me an appointment a week ago for the prescriber to ring me and be very confused because my records have gone missing and no medication history was on there so he couldnt do anything and had to put a ticket in for it to all be looked into, was told id get an email and still havent recieved nothing or no help. Wouldnt bother even choosing this company as they cant keep patients documents safe or even offer the care they say they provide

I thought the staff were excellent! All very professional and nice personalities.

Funny and friendly n makes me feel heard

I began titration on 16mg and on Mt first week I felt like a new mum I could think by week 3 I was tired by school run n needing to sleep so on my next app on 13th Oct I was increased to 36mg and I have focus to end of the day and I'm asleep by 10pm I'd recommend affendid to anyone with combined adhd . The therapist likes my funny way of explaining things n dosnt make me feel embarrassed atall I wish I starter meds sooner but I will make most of what I have now

My house is so tidy I wake up happy amd I have now a relationship woth someone who likes me for me n dosnt expect me to be a domestic godess

My kids say I have energy and I am calmer although they say they still don't have enough socks which we belive is down to my not so great washing machine skills .

It cancelled food noise so set a alarm on your phone to eat !!!! I also don't get any intrusive thoughts either which is amazing

I would certainly recommend Skylight Psychiatry if you have the option to use the NHS right to choose scheme.
During face to face meetings or video calls I found the staff easy to talk to and very empathetic. They appeared to understand my explanations of my difficulties and gave solid advice.
Email response times are generally within a day or two.

Very helpful and professional. I found SkyLight through the NHSs Right to Choose pathway and couldn’t be happier with the service. Yes, there still was a 6 month wait for an ADHD assessment, but it beats the 4 years I would have had to wait on the NHS. Since getting my diagnosis, the team have always been responsive and my medical titration has been handled responsibly and efficiently. Not a bad word to say.

I did right to choose ADHD assessment. Really good communication, by email and text. Video call worked well. I spoke to Rhea, explained process, professional and friendly to talk to made me feel at easy. Would recommend.

I was referred to this psychiatric service two months ago and completed all the required forms and questionnaires, only to hear nothing back. After chasing them by email and phone, I was eventually told that funding would not be renewed until April 2027, meaning I may wait over a year just to find out whether an assessment date is available.

The funding issues are understandable; the complete lack of communication is not. Patients seeking psychiatric support deserve timely updates, transparency and basic respect, not to be left in limbo after completing every requested step.

This level of communication is disgraceful and unacceptable for a service providing mental healthcare. As taxpayers, we fund NHS services expecting accountability and care. I seriously question whether this provider deserves public funding when it cannot even communicate properly with the patients referred to it. I expect them to write something like oh this name is not in our records. Just check who Amy responded to on 22nd of OCt you will find me.

The person who was dealing with me was incredibly patient and helpful, I didn't know what to expect but I was made to feel at ease throughout the whole conversation, I discovered a lot about myself I never knew before and I believe it will help me a great deal in the future.

I’ve just finished my medication titration with Iftikhar, and he was amazing throughout the whole process. He was patient, knowledgeable and genuinely focused on finding the right medication for me.

The whole process was seamless, and I felt supported every step of the way. The positive impact it has had on my life has honestly been incredible.

I came to Skylight through the Right To Choose pathway and through a friends recommendation after she went through the pathway herself.

Made what was a really difficult situation and emotional easier

Really impressed. Clear communication, delivered within predicted wait times, professional and empathetic staff (for all assessments). Given negative media coverage of RTC process, I have been pleasantly surprised and would def recommend Skylight.
