My first impressions were unfortunately not great as the first clinician I met with was lacking understanding and his overall attitude was very poor. THEN along came Megan Fisher who is a nurse with Skylight and I have never come across a more understanding, professional and efficient lady. She made the rest of the process so easy and it really was a pleasure to have her as my nurse. As someone with complex health conditions I have encountered many nurses and I wish all nurses were like Megan Fisher.

The consultant I spoke with, Hannah Little, made me feel completely at ease and able to speak freely when answering questions. I also felt listened to and that Hannah had a good understanding of what I was going through. Overall I would say I received an excellent service and I would recommend Skylight to others.

I used Skylight psychiatry for an ADHD assessment through RTC - NHS. From the pre assessment to the actual diagnosis, they were very clear, helpful & friendly . My assessor was very understanding and patient throughout which was lovely as it was a daunting time! The process went smoothly & way quicker than expected. Very grateful for such a lovely experience so far :)

From the beginning to the end of the clinical assessment, the coordinator was extremely helpful and respectful in dealing with queries relating to my diagnosis.
I felt comfortable and safe sharing personal and confidential information with the co-ordinator, so she could give me the correct diagnosis.

I was really pleased with my appointment and felt listened to. I am looking forward to progressing with my support from Skylight Psychiatry

Skylight have been brilliant. I’m a 42 year old lady and this is the first time in my life that I feel I’ve been listened to and understood. I had 3 assessments and each person I spoke with were kind, empathetic and took the time to listen to me and make me feel understood and valued.
My only criticism is that if you need to contact skylight in between, it takes a while for them to email back as I wasn’t given a contact number. Overall I am extremely happy with the service I received. From the time I put in my application to getting assessed was very quick and straightforward. Thank you Skylight.

Shamir has been wonderful in guiding me through the uncharted waters of this type of medication. We made some adjustments along the way and have come to a fantastic place with his support. He and Skylight have been so great in helping me manage the program.

I honestly can’t recommend Skylight enough.

Starting this journey at 40 years old has been genuinely life-changing for me. I didn’t go into the process looking for a diagnosis of any kind. I went into it wanting to understand what was going on and why I had struggled with certain things throughout my life.

I had my assessment in November 2025, my diagnosis was formally confirmed in December, and I started the titration process at the end of April 2026. Throughout all of it, the team at Skylight have been incredibly supportive. They’ve answered my questions, helped me understand the process and genuinely felt like they were there with me throughout.

Lara, who supported me through my titration, was incredible. She is such a kind-hearted person and it was always very clear that she genuinely wanted the best for me as her patient.

I’m also very lucky to have an amazing GP who has fully supported me throughout this whole process, as well as a brilliant therapist, and I’ve tried to use everything I’ve learned and been given to move forward with my life.

There is so much negative conversation and bad press around ADHD and diagnosis, but for people like me, this process can genuinely be a lifeline. Understanding how my brain works has changed so much for me. I’m achieving things now that I have struggled with my whole life, and I feel like I’m finally able to move forward and be the best version of myself.

It has genuinely been life-changing, and I can’t thank Skylight enough.

I've had a really good experience. Excellent communication, and easy to get hold of on the phone. Good information sent via email and post. I didn't wait long for my appointment.
My assessment was remote via video link. Lovely assessor. Calm, kind, professional and approachable. She gave good supporting information. I can highly recommend this service. Seamless.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the support I’ve received from Shamia. From the very beginning, I’ve felt listened to, understood and never judged.

They have been incredibly patient and supportive throughout the whole process, taking the time to properly listen to how I’m feeling and how things are affecting me day to day. I’ve always felt comfortable being completely honest, and I’ve never felt like I was just another appointment or a number.

The whole titration process has felt so much easier having someone who genuinely cares and is there to support me. Their understanding, reassurance and guidance have made such a positive difference, and I’m really grateful for everything they’ve done for me.

I found out I had ADD/adhd the other day and the lad called jack was amazing he spent about 2 hours asking me loads of questions and after he explained to me what was wrong with me and how to help he also explained everything to detail on way am like this and how it all works very happy with the outcome thank you

Genuinely caring service, I felt heard and covered all aspects with great understanding and patience, the staff were wonderful both remotely and in person at the middlesborough clinic, a massive thankyou to skylight, Jack Schofield, Hannah Geary and Brian Moyo who gave real comfort during ADHD and Autism assessments!! 100% recommend 10/10 all round!!

I went through right to choose on the NHS and the entire process was really quick. I was being assessed for ADHD and they were able to ask questions and speak to me during my assessment that took into consideration the systems I had put into place to mask my own symptoms. The person who saw me and assessed me was extremely nice and patient with me. I would definitely reccomend them!
